the top is wobbling so it could have dropped.. but i think there are two sides of the theory... one theory is he didn't wake up.. the other is the top fell and he did wake up... in the end it didn't really matter to cobb whether he was still dreaming or in the real world because he believed his kids are real... my theory is cobb's totem is his kids.. only in the real world will he see their faces... which is why cobb did not dare to see his kids faces in limbo when mal called to them... cos he is afraid he will be stuck in limbo believing it is real because he see the kids faces...

I love this move and enjoy watching reactions to it. After about the 5 minute mark I was down here to block your channel for the rest of my life but decided to leave a comment before I do. You need to talk and react but if you say 400 words for ever 6 said it the movie it quickly becomes unwatchable. Goodbye forever.

For something completely different but spooky, you should watch the 1971 film "The Andromeda Strain." It is extremely entertaining and sort of in the realistic realm of a science fiction story that is close to realistic.

What I really respect about this show, David and Lucy never use the words “I love you” yet there’s never a doubt of a lack of it for the viewer.

No one ever realizes that Jock and Trusty were offering marriage because Lady became pregnant during her time with Tramp. Since this is set in the 1910s and created in 1955, unwed pregnancy would not have been appropriate to show, especially to younger audiences, so Jock and Trusty were offering to become step-fathers, basically.

This show is sorta strange in that it has elements of the girl boss themes that are super prevalent today but that isn’t the sole focus. It’s much more about relationships. The Ross and Rachel stuff does feel rushed but without that then there would be no relationship dynamic for people to ship. And that is a huge thing in shows. No one else in the friend group has relationship potential with each other.

An easy piece of symbolism to pick up is that "Mal" means "bad" in Latin. I feel like Captain Obvious for even pointing it out. 😅

In addition to looking at who's in a movie, you should focus on who directs and writes the movies. Generally, who directs is a good barometer for whether you like a movie. When you start paying attention to this and IMDBing their work, you'll find you like lots of other stuff that person directed. This is more true for some directors than others. Some will take jobs directing projects being pushed by studios/producers, but "auters," directors like Nolan, Spielberg, Tarantino, etc. tend to be the main driving force behind their films, often writing them as well (Nolan usually works with his brother on scripts). Your viewers will probably start suggesting you watch all Nolan's other work now (which is all fantastic) because of this.

It's interesting that you said you thought Monica was the older sibling, because in real life the actress Courtney Cox is older than David Schwimmer who plays Ross.

The movie was suppose to all be a dream and end with nancy driving off with her friends happy. Thats the end Wes Craven wrote, but the producer wanted it more open ended for sequels, so he forced Wes to change the ending to be more ambiguous maybe she's still dreaming. It doesn't really make sense

Nolan is just creative mastermind and sets seeds in the film if you can see them. The top does fall at the end Nolan revealed but it wasn't the point of the film. The theory is whenever cobb is wearing his wedding ring is when it's a dream also. But yeah overall the reality is really reality Cobb infected Mel's mind making her think limbo wasn't reality because she lost herself. Cobb even warns Elliot pages character not to draw from reality or you lose yourself in the dream which is what Cobb and Mel did in limbo and Mel chose to forget that limbo wasn't real and that's why he never wants to see his kids faces in his dreams because he is afraid he will slip into limbo forever because he wants to be with them so much which is exactly why he just walks away from the top because he doesn't care anymore if it's really or not it's over for him as he has let Mel go and wants to move on even if its not real very trippy. Great film great reaction I think we all were just like you after finishing the film. You should definitely watch memento also by Christopher Nolan another mind bender and just as amazing imo.

My favorite Easter egg is if you watch the credits the last song is a warped version of Edith Piafs song followed by the main theme, implying we the audience are in a dream and need to wake up.

Fun fact. They initially wanted the actress that plays Monica, Courtney Cox, for the Rachel role. She was in the Bruce Springsteen, Dancing in the Dark, video and then the sitcom Family Ties and was the most known cast member.coming into the Friends series. Courtney saw early scripts and lobbied to play Monica as she identified with that character. She’s a bit OCD etc. I love how neurotic she is. It’s relatable and charming. I love how the show pulled traits from the actors into the characters too.

Ross has had a crush on Rachel since he was a kid. She was Monica’s bestie in high school and Ross crushed on her from afar.

I think the thing that makes this show special is all of the friends are likable but flawed. They’re not perfect but that’s ok and they can be themselves around each other.

I loved this first time round. The recurring characters are great. At the time, me and my mate were VERY sharp, sarcastic, sparring partners, always trying to come up with the best responses.....so naturally, I was always drawn to Chandler. RIP Matthew Perry.

A lot of people want to know if the top stops spinning at the end, but that misses the point: for the only time in the movie Cobb walks away before waiting to see if it falls, because he no longer cares if it's real or not.

Some of the hotel scenes were filmed inside the US Air Force's zero-gravity simulator, which is a KC-135 Comet cargo jet that goes to very high altitude and then plummets in free fall for 40 seconds so that inside the plane feels weightless.
