I CONVERTED MY SN95 COYOTE SWAP TO RUN E85!
In this video I’m converting my fuel system and entire setup really to run E85 fuel. To do so I needed a gen3 coyote intake manifold, new PTFE fuel lines, and of course an ethanol sensor to monitor the fuel. I also decided to change my exhaust setup to a more free flowing style. Let me know what you think! Like comment and subscribe for more!

I PORTED MY GEN3 COYOTE INTAKE MANIFOLD!

In this video I’m prepping the car to be switched to E85, I recently learned it’s offered in my area so I decided to go ahead and switch everything over. I wish I knew sooner and I would’ve built PTFE fuel lines to begin with, you live and you learn I suppose. I decided if I’m gonna do it I might as well do it right so I broke out my dremel and some sand paper and went to work! This is a very t...
SVE FULL LENGTH SUBFRAME CONNECTORS INSTALLED ON JACKSTANDS! (97 Cobra Coyote Swap)
Переглядів 3103 місяці тому
In this video I’m stiffening up the unibody with SVE’s full length subframe connectors! For the price you can’t beat the quality of this setup. They came with seat track brackets and torque box reinforcement plates. However, installing these on a 96-98 cobra can be a little tricky. The 96-98 cobras have a much larger and stronger transmission crossmember to brace the chassis for the extra power...

In this video I’m prepping the car to be taken in for a custom dyno tune. I was unsure of what rear gear this car had and also felt it would be good to put some fresh fluids in. My suspicions were correct in thinking it already had aftermarket gears! I also installed koni sport adjustable rear shocks to help with this new found power! The fuel regulator I have on the car is also running too hig...

In this video I finish throwing the car back together and take it out for its first test drive. I installed Koni Sport Adjustable Front Struts and finished buttoning up the rest of the car. On my first night out in the car I ran into a 2021 Mustang GT California Special on E85 and put my little Coyobra to the test! Unfortunately the shift handle I had at the time didn’t have the same threads as...

@@therewoldtfamily6005 94-95 had it in the spoiler. 96-98 on deck lid
Thank you 98 4.6 v8...💯
Where did you get that shifter?
American muscle .com I think. It’s a Brushed Billet Mach1 shift knob, always been my favorite because the ball itself is a little smaller so the whole thing will fit in my fist

Did you do anything to prime the oil system before starting it after the motor sat so long
@@ReyesBuilt I just cranked it for about 15-25 seconds total with the fuel & spark disconnected. The engine only sat a couple months but I still primed the best I could.
do that 10 times and youll find one going in reverse; straight into the crowd
You’re sadly right, this kid showed up two weeks ago to one of our dig spots in Mexico in a ten speed car and launched it in reverse 😂 I wish I had it on camera.

Lmaoooo bro thought he ate with this one. A prius coukd do this in wet conditions. Plus its a mustang, they just do that.
What kinda car you got?
😂
@ServisAutoDetailing. I daily a built focus st, at my current tune I push around 360hp to the tires and it weights a tiny bit over 3k because I haven't gutted it yet so ig, its still a tad slow, but will run that mustang any day.
@@Amity_69 his mustang is coyote swapped probably easily pushes over 450hp and over 400lb of torque. Your car is nice for a focus though.
@ServisAutoDetailing. lol thanks, I was probably a bit too mean ngl, tried to be funny but ya came out rude now that I look back at it.
Might be worth it to upgrade the stock sn95 fuel pump wiring. Pretty garbage from factory! Looking forward to your build
Agreed. When I boost the car I’m planning to modify the tank and built my own dual pump hanger with the second pump on a Hobbs switch. Gonna upgrade wiring at that time also.
Aha! You removed the muffler !
Heck yeah love to see it!
Can you please add link to Amazon for the cold air intake and elbow? I like that look man. Great job. Videos help a ton

On your burnt forearm, if you can get the pulp of an aloe plant ( they sometimes carry it in health food/ vitamin shops), get some ( cones in jars) an liberally apply it to the wound, covering it with a plastic backed bandage ( to keep the moisture in) use until skin is solid ( no scabs) . You will need to dress it several times a day, as it dries out.. I had 3rd degree burns across my chest and used the pulp. I have no scarring & the skin there does not blister or burn more than any other part of my epidermis when I get some sun. You can also use cocoa after there are no scabs to help with no scarring.

Not sure if you said this but how did you get power to your fuel pump? Using a pbh control pack and there is a blunt lead for a fuel pump not sure what to do with it
@@dillanbrenize-ott9286 tie it into the inertia switch inside trunk if you’re pre 98. The switch has a red button on it on driver side of trunk behind carpet. How did u make your sway bar work with oil filter
@@brandonjansen975 installed sway bar after engine. Now my filter won’t screw all the way out lol gotta drop driver side of bar to change filter. Just part of the swap life I suppose.
What 3 inch exhaust do you have?
@@jc35.08 the speed engineering headers collect into 3in. I mated that to an 11-14 MBRP H pipe, then used a universal 3in exhaust kit from Amazon to make the rest myself. The mufflers are also 3in all the way thru. Dumped before axle
@MillennialDad92 I have the budget exhaust, BBK to my old 2v set up.., prochamber to 40 series Flowmasters, You can't tell it's got a coyote in it till you get on it. After watching your video it looks like I'm leaving some horsepower on the table with restrictive exhaust
@@jc35.08 I had the exact same setup originally. I mated the 97 stock h pipe and flowmasters to the coyote initially. Sounded just like the 4v cobra motor did. And free flowing exhaust isn’t as important when you’re n/a but I’m planning to boost the car soon so that’s why I set it up the way I did.
Happy Birthday
Thanks for sharing your upgrades and great ideas. Are you concerned about the t45 with street slicks?
@@jasonshytle7690 I’ve been launching it pretty hard honestly, It’s taking it lol got a 1.76 60 ft the other night launching around 4k and I think I could give it a little more 😂 I’ll send her til something goes I suppose
I have a vert, so im looking into stiffening up mine. Have you done anything else to the rear suspension besides the shocks and springs?
Yes. Upper and lower tubular control arms. Torque box plates. Then of course the springs and koni adjustable shocks.
Thanks for sharing brother!
You bet, got some go fast parts coming soon. Already installed and filmed just trying to space out the content!
Just bought mine and I have the same problem 😅 I tried putting the struts on and the rusted ball joints broke off.
Awesome!! Appreciate your wisdom!!
No problem!
Just got my coyote driving a few months ago and my 8.8 went out 😂🤦🏽♂️
That sucks man! Mines got a little more backlash than I think it should so it’s probably on its way out. When I’m going really slow I can feel it slightly let loose then grab again. 3.73 is too much for my taste honestly. Probably gonna go with a 3.55 to make the gears longer.
@@MillennialDad92 oh man I’ve got factory 3.27 and I need just a little more gear unless I was boosted. I feel like this 3.27 would rip with 10psi . I plan on going 3.73 I hope I don’t regret it 😂
Could you post the link for the intake tube you used ?
Any cheap 11-14 intake is made the same. Mine was on Amazon. The sr performance brand is made exactly the same. All I did was add a 45 degree coupler to it
HEAT SHIELD AIR INTAKE KIT... www.amazon.com/dp/B01MXXAE46?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Thanks, I thought so too. Seems like numbers a gen3 coyote would make at the tire. I’m very happy with the results! Kessels tuning knows his stuff!
I fit 275/35/18 on the front and 315s in the back. Im with ya, i wouldnt mess with mail in tunes for the final tunes. I think dyno sheets help sell cars too.
315’s on an 18x11 I’m assuming?

2013 Mustang GT engine
Hey man met you at the ford show, do you have a link to all the fuel fittings you used and fuel line ?
I’m gonna be selling my entire fuel system as a kit here soon, I’m upgrading to run e85 but essentially I used an evil energy-6an fuel line kit from Amazon. You’ll also need a filter/regulator from a c5 corvette. The fittings are for 3/8 quick connection to -6an and 5/16 quick connection to -6am. If you have the older fuel tank (97 and before) the return line on the pump hanger assembly is actually 1/4in quick connect. You’ll need FOUR 3/8 to 6an, and if it’s a new edge 2 5/6 to 6an, if it’s pre 97 one 5/16 and one 1/4.
What Gen control pack is that?
Gen1 manual control pack
😂😂😂 " Rinse and repeat"... LMFAO
On the differential cover- I polish mine. People mistake it for chrome. 😂😂😂
Old school way to estimate the gear ratio is to mark the driveshaft & also mark one of the lug bolts ( with the tires off is easier); you then count how many turns of the driveshaft it takes to get the lug to complete one revolution. You can gauge pretty accurately if you take your time. Comes in handy when you come across a rear that doesn't have a tag or isn't opened.
Yeah my dad told me about this many moons ago. I wasn’t really too concerned about it until now because I needed to know for tuning purposes. Honestly I’m probably gonna yank the 3.73 and go with a 3.55
@@MillennialDad92 interesting; I have currently a 355 and am contemplating going to a 373.
@@mrmoss149 all about preference I suppose. The gen2 I swapped on this channel had 3.27 and I like the way it just keeps pulling and pulling and pulling. My car with 3.73 1st is useless and 2nd is a spin fest. 3rd is where I actually lay down power. In the gen2 3.27 2nd is much more useful and I like that. Plus you can cruise highway and not be over 2500 rpm in 5th. I think 3.55 will be a good middle ground. Plus I’m gonna be supercharging soon so I want the longer gears.
😂. It's always the smell of gear oil....
Actually, on an original differential, the fill port/ plug is located on the forward/ "front" side of the differential. But we all knew what you meant.
Good to know. Thanks

BTW, I actually like the PCM in the firewall vs fender. Looks pro
It grew on me after I got it all back together. I’m for sure gonna leave it there. It looks like it came from the factory like this. I used an oscillating multi tool with Diablo metal blades to cut out the opening. Made plunge cutting thru the plastic cowl and the metal behind it super easy and the cuts were really clean.
