Actually the gaps are from the architectural shingles and is also where the water drains out behind the wind deflecter. More visible from shingle to shingle depending on style and design. Shingle vent 2 is the best ridge vent on the market and has a liner under it to prevent bugs, debris and most importantly wind driven rain and snow. Comparison test were done with this and other manufacturers including roll style. 130 mph wind driven rain and the ONLY one that got ZERO water infiltration. Next closest competitor let in almost a gallon and roll vents being the worst in these conditions and had over 4 gallons pushed in because there was no wind deflecter. Depends on where you live if you need this style or not. My house has shingle vent 2 and got the front and tail end of hurricane Ian in SW Florida with 155 mph winds and got ZERO water though 66 ft of venting. Proof enough for me that this vent does what it's supposed to do.

I usually make oats with milk but I want to stop use milk or use coconut milk but I dont have any coconut so thinking no dairy but also thinking the taste 😂😂

I advice you to do not use spoon or fork made with metal while you're cooking use the one made with wood it's more healthy

I'm a roofer. Next time don't use the crap ridge vent system. Special if needs caulking. Remember caulk last around 4 years. Thats mean that you need to get on your roof every 4 years to take old caulk out and put new caulk. Thats stupid. Next time use a Cobra vent in a roll. Best Ridge vent ever

he was ripped off first sign folded Rigde cap shingles, just look at how the vent was installed cockeyed and bent. The installation instructions do NOT mention Caulk of any kind and you don't need it you nail this vent at every 16 or 24 into rafters then if you properly nail you ridge caps the vent is nailed every 8 to 10 inches, www.airvent.com/images/installation_shingleventII.pdf you show up to do a roof and caulk a roof vent you might get thrown off that roof. the only thing you ever caulk is the last 2 or 4 nails on the last roof cap... I personally never run my vent to the edge of the roof to prevent damage from Winds or leakage from heavy rain
