Soil Pipe Cutter Demo

I had root and breakage problems with my 4 inch clay sewer line. Rather than replace the entire line which wasn't necessary or practical, I cut out the problem section and replace it with 4 inch ABS. I used a soil pipe cutter to cut the clay pipe. This video will show you how easy it is to cut clay sewer pipe using a soil pipe cutter.

You had it right the first time buddy...scoring provides a better cut than NOT scoring

+ Yasarfaster - thank you for your video! I literally just cut my clay pipe using this method. $16.52 for a 3 hour rental. I had all the prep work done and was ready to cut. My rental is a couple blocks from me. I had it checked out for 23 minutes.

Or you can just do it the easy quick way and use a petrol disc cutter !
