      @GreenMunkeeD, Thank you for the compliment as no (water) assets were used it was made from scratch. XD (well, besides the HDRI sky background but to be honest if I made a sky from scratch it'd be higher quality than this texture) PS: It's also vertex displacement so it's literally not flat.

      ​@@OGPatriot03 vertex displacement is a way to make flat stuff "appear" not flat to save processing power. That HDRI background is just a few clicks and its there, especially if it's just a gradient between two colors and thats it. I didn't really compliment this. It looks lazy, almost like it was nabbed by CGTrader. I was just curious what someone like you creates or gets into you know? Here's someone with a brain. Let's check out unreal engine and talk about gender lmfao.

    parting ways with the original reference shape in favor of the cartoon look I brought the bulbs on the top of his head down, tucked in the side of his head, enlarged is beak, and and adjusted his eyes. Once I'm happy with the physical shape I can move on to finalizing the material be it fur or whatever, and then I can rig it for animation. This version also includes some tweaks to the flame and post processing effects.

    Fire needs tweaked, too jittery atm, adding more layers would be trivial, next up after flame is working on those eyes. PS: Motion blur will make the fire look more realistic. PPS: Actually when the Camera comes back around I loop the frames to get 3 seconds to last 24, but when that happens the flame's position gets reset which causes that sudden jitter so that's not really a concern but the effect could still be dampened.

    This is just a quick and dirty test render right after finishing the majority of the work on the mesh, I'm not satisfied with the Materials yet and additional mesh details still needed added. I think I'll have actual flame on at least his tail and head when it's done.

    My biggest issue with mantaflow is there is very little to no good information about settings and things like that. Just like you said it takes a long time to test stuff. My biggest issue is always particles. There is never enough of them and there are always spaces between them. They look very unrealistic. Does fluid resolution affect particles ? Higher fluid res = more dense partices ? In my tests it didn't really seam like it or maybe the difference was minor. Is there any other way of getting more particles without increasing the resolution of the fluid ? Also Particles make like a pattern shape they don't look chaotic like they should. Hope you know what I mean.

      When you bake the particles at the top there is an upres scale and that definitely increases the number of particles based on the quick test I just did. I haven't actually played around with the particles to any serious degree yet so maybe there's a better way? At least we can bake the particles separately so we don't have to do the main bake all over again for that.. That would be awful. I would like to find settings for lower resolutions that seem to equal the volume of higher resolutions so that I could do quick test bakes but as of yet I have nothing on that front.

    One of the hard parts of making a Fluid simulation like this in Blender is the fact that it can take well over 24 hours to complete a simulation at decent resolutions for the fluid calculation, you could of course bake at a lower resolution to save time for testing purposes but that doesn't work in my experience since higher and lower resolutions seem to affect the physical volume of the fluid so to get something that looks close to this at a lower resolution I have to throw more liquid into the glass, if I did that and then simply swapped to a high resolution the fluid would explode out and completely over fill the glass. low res baking tests are practically useless and so iterative improvements take the span of days to test little changes.

    Wood floor is too distracting and the angle of the Camera is meh, those are 2 things I'd fix short of baking a new fluid simulation. AI denoising is doing some work though! Very very powerful feature for animations!

    PS: In Previous tests simply uploading as 5k removed the artifacts as seen on a 4k TV, but interestingly here at 8k and it appears to be more visible! Next time I'm sticking to 5k 60. Plus the fact that uploading this video to youtube as 8k took longer than rendering it...

    Very nice, apparently my model of Vega 64 has a warm VRM due to Asus skimping on the thermal pads. This is contributing to some of my throttling. I will replace them with some 3mm thick pads for better heat dissipation and contact with the cooler

    Eventually I want to come back to this and make a redux version 1. Render with Filmic Color 2. Add swoosh sounds to the camera movement, particularly for the final movement of the camera at the end. 3. Render it out longer so we get to enjoy the logo more 4. Make room dark, "EGGONOMICON" lights up after the Camera faces it. 5. Some sort of animation for Eggo, head nod, flipping the pick in the air and catching it, something like that. 6. Depending on how switching to Filmic Color goes, increase fog intensity, maybe fade it out for the final reveal of the logo. 7. Make a music version just to test it out, correct volume. 8. Take another look at stronger DOF 9. An Easter egg, 10. Render it out at 4K, possibly 60 FPS. PS: This was a Blender only project, but I think an audio editing solution such as audacity should allow me to edit the audio so that I can soften the waveform so that it sounds much nicer.

    TURN DOWN THE VOLUME. One of the things I learned when delving into audio for the first time was, it's far easier to tune down the audio after production than boost it. At least with my current skill set but I think you run into an inherent audio quality loss when boosting. For that reason the native audio, which is what you have here is quite a lot louder than most sound balanced videos you'd expect to listen to, I think the whole thing sounds better when it's tuned down. Maybe one day I'll make a refreshed version to correct the noob audio but for now other projects demand my time. I watch it with like 5% volume on my end
