- In this video, I show how I will be setting up my catch box from now on. The targets will last much longer and can be changed or repositioned very easily.

Great tips there from you and Rex brilliant, love a target which gives a good “smack” and as always great shooting! 👊🏼👍
Hi Uncle Dean. Me too. Those leather flippers sound great. I used to love the metal flippers...... until they started shooting back. Lol
Great job Mark, and Rex! Congrats on hitting 10k buddy🥳🥳👊!!
Thanks Jeff
Great job like always 🎯👏💯👊
Thanks Jake
Great tip, as always. Thanks for sharing what you learned 👊.
Thanks Rob.
Nice 👊🏻
Thanks for the tip bro.
@@ATOMark all about the hacks that work lol 👊🏻
Very cool. Thanks for the information on the catch box . You have been a great help, I'm with you on the venator it's one of my top shooters
Ya I love that venator.
Nice tips
Thanks man.
Congrats on 10k Mark!
Oh shit really. I didn't see it must have been today some times. I was at 9999 yesterday but lost 9 subs. I guys I got them back.. woot woot.
@ATOMark well deserved brother!
I've had exactly the same problem - I was already using 3mm shockcord but it was snapping when you hit it, as well as stretching over time and sagging. I switched this weekend to 1.5mm steel wire and using metal wire rope clamps. It's absolutely rock solid but it's a permanent fixture and is a big effort to change. I'm not changing targets, so this works for me for now.
Oh cool. I would love to see how the setup works. I was thinking about useing some leader material for fishing but found it a little thin to keep my flipper centered
@@ATOMark I've just tagged you in a short to show you how I've got it going at the moment. Shockcord is great but it'll let you down too!!!
@@ATOMark For centering, tying some old bands around either side does a pretty good job. I used to do it the leader way, using paracord to put the spinner on with centering knots tied, then shockcord tied onto it at each end. It works well but the shockcord does give in after a while, hence me moving to steel wires
You’re a man of many bands, what’s your favorite band set up for 8mm, 8.7mm and 9.5mm steels please
I want a bulls eye too . . . 🥺
I see you have reverted to your old style of shooting, anchor point first then stretch those bands. Just about all frames with the same dimensions will shoot the same just a little variation between very light frames and very heavy frames. It does not matter who makes them or what material or colour they are from a tree fork to skeleton titanium it is the shooter that makes the difference.
I never stopped shooting like that. I have dabbled in different styles but this is my primary way to shoot.
I half agree with you on the fork width thing. The width does make a difference when talking about height shot placement. But that's about it. But there are many other factors that make a for me like fork length, Slanted tips, frame thickness. I have 2 frames almost identical that shoot very different. The Spitfire is one of my best shooters and the beagle v1 I always shoot low and left with. Both frames are almost identical and 90mm frames.
I have been looking for Saunders Spin trap. Where can l find one and howmuch does it cost.
What is the size of the shock cord
3/16
Do you still use steers wild slings catcher?
Yup i have 2 of them and use them both
Gdayy sirr how far is the catchbox from your porch?
11m to the one on my fence and 18 to barrel
Where do you get your ammo man?
Amazon or ebay.
