      @@Rowow Most people seem to use popcorn. Would be great to see a test between cracked corn and whole krenel. I think that a mix would be best, the cracked corn helping to make nutrient more easily available and at the same time reducing inter-kernel spacing, I think the large gaps between whole kernels seem to cause slow coverage of the mycellium. Thoughts?

      Bailouts of corporations called "too big to fail" which were failing due to the captalistic free market and poor buisness choices such as choosing college buisness degrees over actual engineers as CEO's of these companies. it seems insignificant but it has a giant trickle down effect. That company choose bad suppliers who do the same thing and those suppliers have the same bad suppliers etc etc. Bail out these companies and their suppliers multiple times over many decades and that results in the broken system today where they have a monopoly to charge whatever they want and pay their workers whatever they want

    Thanks for the video, Question for you or anyone. Do you know what would cause this. I bought a 2006 Kubota M4900 with only 468 hours. I think the hours are right as all of the linkages and pedals are like new. It has a tick in the engine if it is setting down hill a little, hot or cold. You can move it slightly up hill and it will stop ticking and sounds great. You can also take the loader bucket and raise the front slightly above level and it will quit until you let it back down below level. It is not the hydraulic pump, it is in the engine. I have changed the oil and filter twice. I added oil treatment, I adjusted the valves twice. I have put 200 hours on it and it hasn't improved. It's like when you raise the front end a little it moves the oil to the rear of the engine and stops the ticking. I suspect someone has worked on the engine for some reason and maybe left something out that may deflect the oil from going to the front of the engine too far. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks very much. Looking forward for a reply.

    • @Rowow
      @Rowow 2 місяці тому

      I really doubt its actually from the engine. I suggest buying a automotive Stethoscope. They sell it at harbor freight, auto zone, amazon, etc. and probing around the engine to figure out exactly where its coming from. Most likely something is hitting against the fan is my guess. Ive seen some really random/unpredictable things to cause stuff like that.

      wifi has much better error correcting than USB. Also all of the code is computed and ran on the board itself. The only time important data is transferred is before you run the machine, aka when the plasma is off. It stores the file on a SD card on board and computes it from there

    Grbl is the software. Did you try shielding the usb cable? Or moving the arduino away from the machine (just make the stepper motor wires go to the cnc, not the usb cable)?

    • @Rowow
      @Rowow 2 місяці тому

      yes ive tried shielding the cable, computer, laptop, etc. Even used sheet metal trying some faraday shield. And it helps alot, but I noticed glitches and issues even without running the plasma cutter. I first used grbl on my very first cnc mill and there was random times it would move and not stop. Again no plasma cutting was done with that, or any other interferance. Simple movements and other random things causes unreliability, which any type is too much for a CNC machine. Cutting tools can easily cost hundreths of dollars, and the parts you are cutting can cost much more especially with lots of time and effort to cut it just to lose it all midway. FluidNC is simply much better in every way.

    • @TheRainHarvester
      @TheRainHarvester 2 місяці тому

      @@Rowow that's very strange to me because i use grbl exclusively for many years with no problems. The only problem i ever had was with the limit switches. The magnetic router induced current in the gpio wires to the switch and caused false limit switch presses. I fixed it easily by adding a 10uF capacitor at the switch (not near the arduino). It works flawless. I wonder what the difference between your setup and mine is?! I have the arduino uno 3' away from the cnc. Only the limit switches and stepper motor cables go to the cnc.

      @@TheRainHarvester I was using a laptop and maybe it wasnt properly grounded. But control over USB is annoying. You still need another computer. Much better to have the code stored and ran on the board itself. When you have many cnc machines it makes operating them so much easier.
