And use a better compression algorithm. I see that you have pretty decent resolution on the A-frames, but the b frames is the worst.
Make a nightlife video. I want to decide if I would go there for the girls. But I have not seen any beautiful girl in any of your videos yet. Can you talk to some beautiful girls please?
Buy an Iphone and you will have much brighter without flash, and much less noise in the video. It says that your video is 4K, but in practice it is not, because you have more noise than I have seen in a video since 2010. There are even very cheap go proes for 400 USD that results in high resolution, very little noise and much higher framerate. Or maybe you just do not know how to convert the video properly. You need higher bitrate.
A study suggested that Madagascar was settled approximately 2,200 years ago by a very small group, which consisted of approximately 30 women; 28 (93%) of them had maritime Southeast Asian descent and 2 (7%) of them were of African descent. The Malagasy population developed through the intermixing of the first small founding population with African males. The closest Asian parental population of the Malagasy are found in what is now Indonesia, among the Banjar and other South Kalimantan Dayak people of south east Borneo. Language footprints of their ancestors from Southeastern Asia can be traced by the many shared words of basic vocabulary with Ma'anyan, a language from the region of the Barito River in southern Borneo. But the proportion of ancestral genes differs. Coastal Malagasy populations, including the Temoro, Vezo, and Mikea, etc. have approximately 70% African ancestry and 30% Asian ancestry, while highlander tribes tend to have lower African ancestry at around 45%.

500 euro/month is a fantastic income in Mada. If I found a woman with that salary I guess would come and live together a happy life in Paradise (on her behalf).😅 Most of Malagasy keep going with difficulties, so make life of vazah not so nice.😢 Or find a girl only with a mom. A good idea is also to raise some orphans and in 1-2 years of Mada build some house for them, before leaving. I'm a little jealous of you, because you're doing something very very right in your life...
No need to be jealous of anyone in this world, my friend
Hello. Thank you for your videos. I have a question: What about the visa? If I always have to leave the country after 90 days, it will be expensive. What options are there to get permanent residence? Found a company?

You wife is doing very good with her salary but she is educated. For unskilled workers salaries just horrible i know some waitress who works at nosybe for local malagashy bars or restaurants and they get paid 150000 ariary per month . The waitress who works at foreigners owned places get around 200000 ariary per month and in small towns salaries can be just 100000 ariary .so for unskilled workers the salaries can be just from 20-40 euros per month depends from location.

Assuming cement is the most expensive part of the building, what are the import taxes like for it? Anyway of getting cheap cement from the mainland?
@@iddy2122 the problem is the weight being 50 kg a sack and transporting it from the mainland to here but probably cost a lot. I believe there is a cement factory in Madagascar now most of the cement comes by ship from India to good business to buy in India maybe 15 or €20,000 worth and load it onto a ship to send to Madagascar obviously the government will tax it probably at 20% but there’s still plenty of profit for the owner of the cement.

Is not better to build a swimming pool or something under the level of ground (canteen, for exemple) on that pit instead trying to fill it? Looking forward for your trip to another side of island...
A swimming pool would work well the thing is that a swimming pool will cost €10,000 and the land and house with the washroom will cost €20,000 so it’s like 50% on this property costs to add a pool. I would look to have a €20,000 swimming pool on a 2000 square metre plot with a €50,000 house build or 8 apartments worth €200,000, you could build a house on stilts over the hole to save filling it in the thing is the plot is still big enough to build everything he wants on the hard ground. Not long now until I drive to Toliara
@@passivenomads Well, I'm also curious if someone on island is making cellar, just trying to keep things fresh. Never seen, but could be useful. Instead keeping the fridge and face constant problems with electric.
@@LilianP-cb6zxI did plan to build a cellar in a Toliara plot but my wife was shocked as it’s really only dead people and the kidnapped that are kept under ground in Madagascar I believe it’s not so big a problem but to most Malagasy it’s taboo and very creepy 😅 damp proofing would also be tricky without importing western damp proofing products imo
@@passivenomads In south seems no big varieties of vegetables and usually they consume as they produce. Without electricity for most of Malagasy that could help keep products for longer. You as vasah must break this rule ("fady") and could organize a storage for fresh products. I saw by the end of the day at the local market in Toliara people in difficulty to sell green vegetables. I think they would consume them as unique option in families to avoid damage/whiter. Link to customs of ancestors are strong in Mada, but they must consider overall benefits and all kinds of ideas to improve life.
@@LilianP-cb6zxit’s a good idea for sure
Can you give a cost break down in usd for the full build ?
It’s not so easy but it’s possible to build a basic 3 bed house for $25,000 a well should cost about $250 a washroom like we are building should cost $1000, $50,000 can go a long way to build a 4 bed 3 bathroom house finished to a western standard if you use local guys and pay them by the day. This guy will likely spend $20,000 to $25,000 to buy the land build the walls the well and a small 2 bed house
@@passivenomads do they sell any 100-1000 acre lots ?
@@s0sasantana174it’s possible to find big plots in nosy be but it’s a lot easier to find them on mainland Madagascar
@@passivenomads I’d be lookin toward toward mainland for the big plot maybe the southern where the drought is it should be cheap right ?

Spent 4 days in Nairobi on my way back. Can get land there for 99 years as a foreigner, much much cheaper and way more money for business.
i would not scold myself too quickly, tourists numbers are barely going up and are still extremely low Tulear and Mangily are full of empty hotels, some of them same fancy as one in your video but clientele for such pricey places are limited,i am definitely not paying over 20 euros for a hotel and over 2 euros for a beer why going to cheap country and pay high prices, then better stick to Thailand or Vietnam or Philippines 2 years ago i went to Foulpointe and it was almost deserted.lot of hotels and apartments to rent but no tourists so i asked why and a guy told me owners of hotels jacked up prices in unison basically destroying competition but what happened- everybody left i was in one of hotels being only one there hotel completely empty and they STILL didn't want to reduce price so i left too that Malagasy is probably laundering stolen money so profitability is not high on his list you were showing recently a land bought by indian owner of fancy hotel who wants to develop even more tourist capacity but tourist numbers are constant i would expect saturation point to come very quickly, many businesses will fail and others will have to reduce prices
Mangily is growing every year but with Malagasy the best business to run in mangily is a bar nightclub for Malagasy clients as like you say the are not enough clients to fill 1000 rooms Toliara is a hard place for business. Nosy be is a different place it’s going to grow fast the is no real good quality products or accommodation, there’s money on the table and I’m going to pick it up by giving clients what they want.
@@passivenomads Toliara has a more desert-like climate than tropical Nosy Be, which also benefits from direct flights from Europe. At least Mangily has a sealed road now but it is a long way from town and the airport.
This area is noisy at night if its near ody hotel at daresalam. Its has 2-3 malagashy bars which opens till early morning and loud music plays non stop almost every day till 4-5 am in a morning!! I dont know why you think this area is quiet!! :)

Good location, sound investment and construction ... but the tourist trade seems to centre around the European summer holidays. Europeans typically get 4-6 weeks off, whilst Americans are lucky to get 2-4.
@@trevorsmith7753 this hotel will be booked out between June and December I would imagine there is many guys that are retired and can travel year round that visit places like Africa, South America and Asia
@@passivenomads One has to be realistic. Do they speak French? Do they like black girls? Are they content with a basic level of infrastructure and security? Pattaya has been fantastically successful with Europeans, Americans, Indians and Russians because the locals speak basic English, infrastructure is good, plenty of hungry girls, very safe and costs are competitively-low.
Who built that hotel with the top deck swimming pool? A frenchman?
@@jungbolosse3034 I believe that this hotel is owned by a Malagasy man and was built by Malagasy builders probably from the capital Tana but I don’t know for sure
@@passivenomadsThey used local labour that I saw .
Big gamble 😬 You got balls, risky risky.
You got that right! However I’m wise to the property game and have Malagasy family so it’s not that bigger risk imo but it is a lot of money to put into one plot of land as normally I wouldn’t consider putting over £100,000 in one property, I guess we will find out together how this investment pans out.
Thing is like why you are still there yourself because it sounds to me like it is not an easy or safe existence for a foreigner and more often it is the dangerous foreigners who are willing to play this game and take the risk, so why is it worth the risk for everyone else?
@@MalachaiHough yo Mal I will do a video to try to explain
@@passivenomads Would you recommend living and working in Nosy Be to foreign nationals if a job were to arise? Would there be some dangers in the fact that locals will be aware of the financial disparity between intl workers and local businesses?
@@MalachaiHough yes I would recommend living in nosy be for sure as it’s one of the best places in the world to live a real life as for the locals they are too busy living there life’s too care about what a foreigner has or is earning, 99% of Malagasy are nice people imo I’m guessing you’re from Liverpool am I right ?
