I lived in Morondava. From 2017 to 2022. I travelled to every part of Madagascar in that time ,rented many places, and built my own house in Namaroa,Morondava. Madagascar is soooooo cheap as you know. And you are on an island.ive been to Nosy BE, and also Sainte Marie. You seem to have everything organised and sorted. I guess you have married a Malagasy girl.they are a beautiful race. Extremely friendly and resourceful , even though they live in extreme poverty , all you see is smiling faces, singing, laughter , . I had ricd fields, and peanut fields but couldn't sustain the life ,having no money as such. I just had a simple job as a labourer working in construction.i married a lovely Malagasy girl. And I am sure you know. You then actually marry the whole extended family.Madagascar is changing sooo fast and what I fell in love with ,is rapidly disappearing. The influx of investment ,from China, france ,as seen new huge grandiose buildings cropping up all around the island.Morondava had changed so much in 5 years. Even the Beach had changed beyond comprehension. Good on yer , you have found paradise and a happy ,simple life, you seem to have everything sorted, I just walked away and left everything, and muss the life every se and of everyday .the uk and work is a prison sentence in comparison. Take care and live your dream .enjoy!!!. Mick.
@@mickcadle life is short but life gos on, Madagascar is hard but also easy it’s slow but also fast it’s a difficult but easy life I wish you the best Mick
Not a question of cost it’s a question of quality many toilet seats in Madagascar don’t last five minutes hence whale seen many toilets without our toilet seat. It’s something to do with poor quality plastic.

A bit overdramatic for me.
