Bust Painting in Acrylics - US Medic Dynamo Models Figure Painting Tutorial
Let's paint a Bust! This is a full step by step figure painting tutorial of how I painted this Dynamo Models bust in 1/12th scale using acrylic paints.
I started with preparing and assembling the bust, and after priming it made a pre colouring with my airbrush using the new AK Interactive Real Colors. Then I painted the figures face and the figures eyes. After that I painted the helmet including the medics red cross symbols partly using the new AK Real Colors Marker before I painted the uniform jacket and all the details like the collar, the belt and the armlet using AK 3rd Gen Acrylics
Last part is how to create a matching battle of the bulge style winter base. I here used AK Interactive snow products like Still Water, Snow Sprinkles and Snow Microballoons.
I hope this painting a bust tutorial is helpfull for one or two of you and I can show some miniature painting techniques for beginners and veterans.

Thank you🙏 yes let them dry, so you don't reactive it and wash it away. Should dry fast as they are so thin👌

Very nice build and paint job Biberhunter! Just a heads up, microballons is basically asbestos(pulverized glass powder) please make sure you are completely masked up when using that product. And clean your bench well. We don’t want our hobby hurting us.thanks again for another great tutorial and it’s nice to see you use acrylics!👍🏾

@@quadegermany2200 you mean flame cuts? That's from cutting the armored plates with a flame torch, it looks like this afterwards.

Absolut großartige Arbeit. Es hat riesigen Spaß gemacht, dem Diorama beim „wachsen“ zuzusehen. Ich traue mich kaum, es anzumerken, aber das Kupferblech unten, seitlich an der Gaube, müsste, soweit ich weiß, unter die Schindeln an der „Gaubenwand“ und (so, wie du es gemacht hast) auf den Schindeln auf der Dachfläche aufliegen. Aber das ist ja eher ein unwichtiges Detail. Wirklich tolle und total inspirierende Arbeit. Ich freue mich auf viele weitere Videos von dir, die mir immer wertvolle Tips und Tricks geben. Alles Gute für dich.

Ja, wie gesagt, das geht in dem fertigen Meisterwerk absolut unter. Wie lange baust du schon Modelle und hast du dir das alles über die Zeit selber beigebracht? Videos, Bücher, Magazine,… ?
@@rapskasper Vielen Dank☺ ich habe 2020 wieder angefangen mit Modellbau, habe einen guten Teil meiner Jugend damit verbracht, aber nichts spezielles, Querbeet. Hatte eine Pause von ca 15 Jahren. Gelernt habe ich wahrscheinlich am meisten von Nightshift. Bei ihm kann man sich vieles abschauen und Ideen holen👌
Vielen Dank. Dann werde ich Nightshift auch gleich mal abonnieren. Deinen Kanal hab ich nach dem ersten Video, welches ich gesehen habe, auch gleich abonniert. Denn sobald die Zeit es wieder erlaubt, will ich auch wieder anfangen. Viel Spaß weiterhin und ein schönes Wochenende.
