DIY Plant Hanger From Twine
Can't beat a project you can make from just one simple material! Our old plant hangers were tired, so I made a new set.
I tried something different instead of talking the whole way through.

    I’m very new to the ardupilot the website is overwhelming for someone who wants to get into it. I always learn and engage a lot more if I follow along. I always love helicopters. Can you do a video on helicopters. From installing hardware, rotor pitching to setting it up on Qgroundcontrol. There isn’t any videos about Px4 for helicopter. Also how did you get the remote control to connect to the Qgroundcontrol?

    • @bentsprockettech
      @bentsprockettech 14 днів тому

      I have a helicopter that someone donated. I even have spare parts for it. I'll try to get a video for it up soon. For the remote (radio) is connected to the rc receiver on board the quadrotor. QGroundControl "sees" the remote through communications with the flight controller. This is why you can set the functionality of the channels in QGC. So, effectively, you have two places to set how your channels work, at the radio and at the receiver. I hope that helps.

      @@bentsprockettech anything will help even if you have to make a 2 or 3 part video that good for content each 1h long. There just very few videos out there. Which is not really helpful some seem to connect without having to do the work except the one who which to copy or follow leave their head scratching how to or where does this go. I feel like UA-camr now in days do cheap content to get cheap algorithm to benefit. Which it should be the opposite on making good content with in depth knowledge and understanding. This way people follow each step which leads to authentic subscribers. Willing to learning more, if you can do a setup of the hardware. Pitch level and parametric settings etc. I just got my Firefox to learn to fly a helicopter and would love to get a large helicopter with the px4 hardware and gimbal setup to program to fly. Again your only the few who has good content out there

    • @bentsprockettech
      @bentsprockettech Місяць тому

      Was it charging before and stopped charging? The first thing to check is your cable. They do deteriorate over time. 1. Make sure you are charging it with a charger that can supply enough power. 2. Try using the original cable or a fast charging cable that can carry the amperage (all USB-C ables are not the same). 3. Take some canned air and blow out the USB port on the device (yes, I know someone who had lint stuck in there). Hope this helps.

      This one is for you. I always wear a life vest, but I've never needed it. This thing has never flipped and I've had it in rough water and even wakes from large boats. Not a guarantee of course, but that's my experience with it. It's been so good, the boss (my wife) asked me to get one for her as well. Good even with a high center, the seat has a standard bolt pattern so you can pick up a pedestal to lift you up a bit. The paddles are long, so you can actually sit up a little higher and still use them. Hope that helps.

      Thank you for asking about this. We were running at 12v with a 20a ESC. I am about to pick up an amp meter. As soon as I do we can record another video with actual numbers. This video was an attempt to record max thrust (as much as we could with the low budget hack setup). The new motors will probably be the KV950 X2830 which are 350x and would max out at 28a peak. I know that's not exactly what you were looking for, but I hope it helps.

      Very observant of you. I am learning that the way you flick the page is important as well as trying to make gestures with the marker too close. The device has palm rejection so that when you are using it you do not inadvertently gesture. Most of what you see in the video was caused by me rushing to show you all the features. Now that I've been using it for a bit I don't see the lag the way it is in the video.

    hi can i use 340kv motors instead and a servo to carry 3 kg payload with this?

    • @bentsprockettech
      @bentsprockettech 2 місяці тому

      You should be able to. The link below shows a motor that is a 340kv having a capacity of 1.5kg with 7" 6.2 pitch props. The current config of the quad puts us around 2.25kg. That should give you enough headroom. Are you trying to get more stability and stamina out of the drone? If so, that is a direction to go. If you want snappier movements you would need to increase your kv, but that also decreases your payload cap. On the servo, if you are planning to drop your payload, be careful as that can get you into some possible trouble with the authorities depending on where you are. There are extra channels in this setup so you can attach more actuators and servos as with the gymbal and use the mix on your radio or QGC to route the channels. Hope that helps. :)

      1. I don't think you need the subscription for screen share, just WiFi. 2. Not sure about the AirPlay. I do cast to my TV using the laptop app via the TV's native app through WiFi. That works well. 3. You will need the reMarkable app running on your laptop to use screen share. The synced screen is accessed through the laptop app. The web app that uses the USB tether is only for managing the files on the tablet through a web browser style interface.

    Just got mine last month and have been using it exclusively vs the 3 or 4 notebooks. You’ll uncover many neat tricks. Ie. if you choose the selection tool, you can copy, resize or rotate the images. If you draw a line without lifting the pen off the tablet, it will auto straighten the line. If you draw using different pens, use the layering tool. It’s so cool to add layers and not worry about deleting sections. Hope you enjoy it!

      It's been good. It has improved my productivity greatly. I am using all the tools you just mentioned and it helps get my ideas and designs down so quickly. Thanks for providing your input!

    I appreciate the side to side of actual paper, really showcases the differences. Especially as I've bit seen it in other reviews oddly enough

      Yes. I figured since I am replacing a few of my paper notebooks that I should show what it looks like compared to those notebooks. Hope it helps. :)

    Great video. You talk alot and many award silences. you got a good point. for note taking and not haiving noetbooks around. Kobo and Kindle has try to do the same.

      Thank you. Yes. I feel like the Kindle may have been designed in part after their reader. Which is not bad, but I feel like the functionality of the reMarkable is more towards note taking. After using it for a bit, the reMarkable is not a strong reader in that sense, definitely good for taking notes though.
