If 16Mb of RAM is normally sufficient, why do I see so many folks with 32 Mb upgrades?

I just picked this up for £350, 24GB Ram, i5 3.8ghz , Radeon Pro 580 8gb, can’t wait to receive it.

Don’t buy any intel MacBook. Buy a m1 MacBook Air with 16gb ram. If you need better than get the pro but make sure no matter what you never get an 8gb MacBook. It’s only good for web browsing and light tasks. The os takes up just over 4gbs which leaves just under 4gbs for a new program plus it shares its memory with the gpu.

I just got my iPhone 13 256gb midnight used for $300 as a birthday gift and I love it! From the cameras to display to more iOS and app support and me coming from an iPhone 11 64gb this was worth the upgrade on my special day! I enjoy every last moment of it! Also I learned that battery saver and optmized battery charging can help my battery last longer too since I used my last iPhone too much, I charged it too much and it was slow!

I have had the 13 pro for years now and I just don't see the reason to upgrade any more. I am tempted to just get a battery replacement at Apple and keep it going for another couple years.

Still using my iPhone 11 since buying it new in 2020. Works just fine. Still at 88% battery. Well it is in a Spigen Tough Armor case with a screen protector so it is very protected.

Just got an iPhone 11 as a gift yesterday from an Oppo A12e and briefly borrowed my mother’s phone for half a year ( Oppo A79 ). I couldn’t use banking apps that’s why I had to borrow my mother’s phone for my 1st Sem of college. The last iPhone I’vs used is an iPhone 4. So I’m still adapting . I would have preferred a Samsung A35 instead but hey at least I get to return my mom’s phone

Bought my iPad 7th gen a few months ago for $80 aud from eBay and have had no issues with it. Excellent battery life for its age (6-7 hours of continuous video streaming), great display, and runs everything from videos to even some more demanding games with a perfectly acceptable speed and quality. No regrets and don’t plan to upgrade for quite some time!

I bought a 2017 iMac a couple years ago for about $400. It’s an Intel i5 with 16 gigs of RAM (I know, double the usual memory) and a 250 gigs SSD. Why was it so inexpensive? It had a small (and I do mean small) chip in the bezel that unless you’re looking for it is not noticeable and in no way affects either the screen or performance. And it’s 4k. Works like a dream and is fully functional for my needs today.

How is the mic on these? I'm thinking of using them for work meetings on Teams, I'm just conscious of the mic quality, and if it's worth the price
