At last! Something broke down. I'm liking this sailors' presentation. Does anyone know if he bought his boat in Germany? Not to be an armchair critique but for safety reasons most blue water solo sailors have a lifeline that is short. It keeps them on the boat if they are knocked off balance while on the foredeck. A long leash will throw you into the Atlantic where you will try to get back on board but quickly become exhausted only to drown beside or behind your boat while it happily sails on. Maybe he uses a short one in very rough seas when he goes to the forward deck. I hope so. A very enjoyable, not too long, no-nonsense series.

Nothing breaks down on this small vessel? Under so much wear and tear from the sea? It must have something to do with never raising the mainsail.

WOW! This blows my mind. Where did you start? A two or three piece (screw together) oar can easily stow below. A single piece oar can be lashed on deck or against the mast. You can scull the boat with one oar. A thought. You have incredible will!

Amazing! Found you on the other YT channel that interviewed you, incredible feat and very inspiring. I have tons of questions and can't find a website for this project that explains everything, for example about how you got this boat equipped and learned to sail etc, only these few YT videos which are very short and abbreviated and do not have much details. (For example, what model of windvane is that?) Anyway, wil be watching all of these videos of yours, small boat sailing intrigues me tremendously! Also cool that you are a paragliding guy, I've been a commercial pilot all my life but am retired now and planning to get back to sailing and fulfil the lifelong dream I had of sailing the seas. Plus learning to paraglide. So thank you for the inspiration!
