A truer Sailor 👏 shows those "luxury" yacht owners how it's done.
Sailing in high winds and waves a little boat across oceans.
So that those who ask, what is the perfect "blue water" boat can see the truth.
It's not the vessel. It's the Captain who turns ANY boat into a blue water vessel.
    THANK YOU NIC.....stay safe 🙏

Unglaublich.

You will pass ver the mid-Atlantic ridge where the tectonic plates are moving apart. Also near the course where the submarine Thresher tragically rest. Our research vessel completed numerous mission in this area of the ocean. The Azores is wonderful and the people are super friendly, neat and tidy plus the food is great. Enjoy

I’d like to know what goes through your mind when you hit bigs waves and swells in an 18ft boat? I have a 27ft Westerly Griffon and nearly wet myself in 20knot winds. Really enjoy your channel hope there is a lot more to come. Good luck take care

I'm amazed by your videos, both the rigging of an ultrawide action (is it?) that makes it for gimbelled recording. Do you place a camera on a long stick or what? The horizon is calm while the boat is rocking and rolling. How do you do that? And I am equally enjoying your calm narrative. I hope there will be a book about the passage :-) And I would be one of the first to buy and read it! Best regards, Martin Wiedemann

What camera kit do you use?
I see it has image stabilisation that keeps it upright, so let’s you see how much the boat rolls around….oh dear I feel seasick just watching!

    Hello Nicholas,
how did you manage your water consumption ? How many water did you have on your trip ? How many food did you have on your trip, more cans or oats e.g. ?
your trip back to europe was complete without an engine ?
What was your plan for this journey, Have you planed 5, 6 or more weeks ?
Have you ever been in danger, or very sared concerning weater conditions, big waves or bad trim from the boat or sailing gear ?
Are you still in europe ? ... what is your next plan, journey ...

    • @sailing.oneworld
      @sailing.oneworld  10 місяців тому +1

      Hey man
I used 2l a day and had 150l in bottles. Food was enough for ~60days mostly nuddles but also some fresh stuff.
From caribean to europe waa without engine manly becaus of weight issues.
I was planing for 50 days to france... turned out 34 to azores and 14 to france.
      Greetings 🤘🏽🤘🏽
