Einhand Nord Atlantiküberquerung auf meinem 5,5m Segelboot 1/4 Life Crisis. - Спорт
that moment when you jump in to water, knowing that you fear it, was awesome! you are amazing. cheers from Poland
Großartig Nico, habe bereits deinen Podcast mit der Yacht gehört. Kleines Boot, großes Abenteuer, tolle Leistung.
I can watch these videos over and over again. Compelling.
Thanks 🥳🥳🤘🏽
Me too
First time i see someone that has the same reaction about swimming in the sea like that, also nice to see that you had a rope tied to yourself. I dont understand sailors that just jump in like nothing and without a rope.
You have the know how to cross oceans. You seem calm and prepared mentally for whatever happens. You are to be admired.
There is something about you thats got me hooked. you are amazing
Awesome adventure! You are very brave to tackle a crossing in a small sailboat like this. I dream of doing something like this. So cool…and good job overcoming your deep water fear and going for a swim. Looks like you took the right precautions. Looking forward to more small boat adventures.
Thanks man ✌🏽 more videos comeing
you did it bro! huge respect, love the content
This is amazing. You are inspiring me! I just wish this had less music more real life sounds of the ocean and boat.
Like your content bro!
You are really brave! I've done that in open water, but not in the middle of the ocean. Beautiful. I love your videos so much. I wish they were like an hour long!
Danke schön Nicolas, really cool video! Well done for crossing the Atlantic, solo on a small 18ft boat... you are very brave and have inspired me very much! I like the Hurley and also your new hair cut, whoohoo! Safe travels my friend and may the wind always be with you!😎🌍⚓⛵💜💯🙏
Small sailboat , big adventure. Thank you for the video.
Superb and inspiring. Thank you. Would love to see a boat tour and learn how you set her up for transatlantic passages. Best wishes and can't wait for the next installment :-)
Hey Nicolas, sehr inspirierend! Ocean sailing on small boats interests me a lot and your videos are among the best on that issue!
I am currently thinking of a "3/4 life-crisis boat" and downsizing seems the more charming way to go. Danke und alles Beste!!
Hey danke !!
Christoph 👋
Klasse.....und deine Positivität.....unglaublich! Echt superrrrrrr
Haha danke das braucht es 🤣✌🏽
Mit deiner leistung machst du alle "gross/lang" segler lächerlich.
Einfach nur SUPER !!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You are a hero bro, living the dream. Wish you all luck ⛵⛵⛵
I wish I was there sailing my little boat 😀⛵️
Your videos help keep me motivated through my small boat build at the blog same as my name, refreshing to see your simple functional boat, you are an example of go small go now and K.I.S.S, well done mate!
I love rice and peaches and apple sauce yummy 😋
U are vy brave! That is a mentally rough! Congratulations! Have good winds from Recife, Brazil!
Good sailing. Good videography. Good music. And each new video proves you are alive. Keep it up!
Incredible voyages in small boats is a subject that I find fascinating...
Thank you for showing how you are getting on..
I have a little Hurley 22r tucked up my sleeve.. and a dream.
Me too
As per usual, very nice video. Congratulations Nicolas
It is so cool what you do! Deepest respect and greetings from Munich.
Can someone please tell me what year make and model boat this is. I'm so blown away by this. I've been binge watching since Europe departure and now I'm on the Northern Atlantic Crossing. I love the Improvement of camera angles. I'll say it again. I'm Blown Away
Hey mam thanks alot !! It's a 197? Hurley 18 :)
A great voyage and wonderful footage!
Thank you for sharing
I adore your videos.
Cant wait for next video
What an adventure well done!
You are so cool
Ciao nicolas.....tooopppppp😅
Mega Nico! Dass du einem Wahl begegnet bist war bestimmt ziemlich geil ^^
Congratulations Nicolas, have you got a video with the description of your boat?
Yes checkt out my channel there's a small boat tour
Small boat, big hearth
I admire your courage and your mental strength. But:
Chicken on day 14? How did you make it last that long?
It was a packed chicken soup 🤣
Never seen a whale so close😮 they are curious creatures from what people say
Thank you, keep them coming, nice to see your videos
No engine, single handing, 18ft boat, and a positive attitude! I love this! What kind of camera do you video with? Glad you jumped in, I don't blame you for having a healthy fear of the dark blue. That whale was awesome! ⛵🤙
Its filmed with a GoPro and Insta 360 cam. And a normal camera forgot what model it is 😅😅
I totally understand you, why you didn't go swimming. Your small boat ⛵ in the ocean 🌊 is your safe spot, being ever so small and you in the ocean even smaller.
A line dancer on a complete line consisting of say 100 fibers, why would she be satisfied with only 10 fibers?
_AND you did it_ .
Very nice adventure.
Just one editing remark : imho you have to decrease the music volume when you speak. It masks your voice.
What model of Hurley boat you have is it Hurley silhouette?
Very cool. I'm leaving Canada soon in a Alberg 30 sailboat. What kind of windvane do you have ...... Hydrovane?
It a windpilot. Have a good time ok your trip !!
quite inspiring! I have a 18ft myself and was sure I not have a blue water boot, what kind of a misconception 😂😂😂 what kind of weather forecast Radio thing was that? great job, nice vids and deep respect 😊👍
I have a short wave ssb radio and a weather fax app ... it works allright to get a overview of the weather situation ... with a small boat on the northatlantic I wouldnt go without a Satelliten messenger (inreach) to confirm routing options with a land based crew :P
Very nice video, waiting for the next one
Also geht das mit einem kurzen Boot. Kann ja auch dort durch wo die meisten nicht hinkommen und auch die Kosten sind wie dad Boot; sehr klein!
Mal schauen ob ich das auch mache.
Hi Nicolas, sorry, may i ask what happened to your eyes. Only if you dont mind me asking. Fair wind and safe sail!
I had an accident where an aluminum part hit my face and im blind on the left eye now 🏴☠️🤣
May i ask you if you have a app like black cat system de the weather fax?
Yes its called hf weather fax 😁
Thanks for the answer
I actually googled this.
You can get updated weather info using shortwave as the transmitting device. So even w/out internet you can receive data (weather data at least) even in the middle of the ocean - amazing! 👍
It's totally okay to be afraid of spiders. I share your fear 😱
🤣🤣
Wow full sail! main and that front one lol (don't know the name)
Yeah maybe some info on your weatherfax receiving setup would be 💯' percent appreciated

Who is we? Me myself and I? Me and my boat? Me and My camera? i am intrigued.
