Wonderful1❤❤❤❤❤❤rest in power jimmi ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
queen realised after this they didnt need a glitzy elaborate show to entertain. Roger Taylor and Brian May were being interviewed when i think Roger said that. they'd turned up in everyday clothes and some of their instruments were borrowed but they had a week of practise unlike a lot of the performers. and they nailed the performance in their set, because the practise let them cut down their hits. Bob Geldof who organised Live Aid said Queen were the only band who got what he wanted of the bands - a sort of global jukebox, of their best hits.
They've played it on every tour. to this day
When they share the mic on the chorus is one of the most iconic images in rock history.
The cymbal at the beginning is morse code for YYZ
Mike Shreive was 18 yrs old at Woodstock! Js! 😮
we could have got some great music collaborating with miles davis
wow you are a very smart man
Funny to watch youngsters like these who dont know these old school legends but are trying to do commentary on them.
Eric Clapton wishes that he could have ripped off a solo like this one.
It's amazing how the beatles have made this such an emotional reaction that's the power they have through music untouchable legends.
I must be stupid to narrorat through a song like this.😂😂😂😂😂😂dumb ass 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can’t believe that it has been 5 years. Neil will always be the GOAT.
What's with the electrical tape across their faces ?
My answer to the question in the title is definitely: YES, forever!!!
👍👍👌👌😊😊
Соло принца, как та вишенка на торте, которая вкуснее всего торта!
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The stripes are stupid.
Holy, magicians with Guitars. 🎉
That’s not zappas best solo ffs , it’s brilliant but it’s not his best , search muffin man , or watermelon and Easter hay , or blacknapkins , I could go on and on and on , but if you want to see a good solo search for “ cosmic debris “ live
America originally ignored him made his fame in Britain
What he// is on these idiots face? Asking for a rock friend.
Come together
Just WOW..
Pompeii is not the Colosseum. Pompeii is near Naples and the Colosseum is in Rome.
A wonderful reaction -well done you two 👍
Prince was serving up ribs and collard greens that day, and purple Kool-Aid.
What's up with that ridiculous stripe across your faces?
I love your chat about the music and performances ~ YOU two are both "on it" too!! I'm 77yo and have seen Santana perform live many times over the years but wasn't at Woodstock. Carlos is such a sensitive player ~ Doubtless you are aware of his performances with John Lee Hooker and other artists. Dave Brown was the original (Woodstock) bass player but his later life is very sad. Sorry to say this again but why not just a little bit more volume on the video sound please. I'm listening via a Mackie mixing desk on pro monitors etc etc and you can't hide! I think you two are the best reactionvid sharers I have evr come across ~ Excellent heart felt reactions with true soul. Robin.
Marc Mann's early solos aren't chopped liver. just sayin'
This is not the video to react to when you want the best version of the tune.
Yes, there is interviews where they talk about this. And Eddie has sat on more than one occasion that he was so drunk. He doesn’t even remember playing that solo. You just watched
The best guitar stuff is Packard Goose or Watermelon in Eastern Hay
Amazing!! I always had this suspicion
A very lame reaction video. Two young people making corny comments.
They started playing it live again in 1975 I think. This is an historic moment, as it captures the collapse of what the Beatles created. In a few hours at Altamont, the Stones destroyed it all. It was the end of the 60s. So an important moment, but a terrible version of the song because of all the chaos. The studio track is one of the greatest songs of all time. Been to 5 Stones shows. They are easily the greatest live act ever in my opinion.
A 60s band called Them did this, love that one, and ACDCs version.
M16 😂😂😂 it’s M.I.6 like the letter i
I still don't understand the draw to Zappa. He looks like Borat
💪💪💪👌
The 70s, especially the early 70s, had their conflict with the Vietnam war going on. We were drafted at 18 years old but you had to be 21 to vote. So basically all those that were conscripted had no voice or say so towards the war. The average age of those with boots on the ground in Vietnam was 19. Those soldiers that came back on leave or had put in their time in the war were treated poorly by the hippies and those against the war by throwing trash at them and calling them baby killers. It was a pretty fucked-up time for politics. That said, the music during that time was great!
Love Zappa and love this set.Theres another one they do and the name of the song escapes me where Bozio sings about some sexual activity but the solo by Frank is ❤❤ but my fave so far is Black Napkins!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Joe Walsh & Garry Clarke Jr did it better than Prince.
Reaction: no reaction
For many of us who were part of the counterculture, our parents were from the "greatest generation." We advocated peace & love, no more war, Jimi's rendition was something we had heard before Woodstock, to many of us his version was our anthem.
Pink Glory
Thanks for this one! One of my favorite Zappa tunes. I am not young but boy I will never let Zappas music die. Intense compositions! I saw Frank in 1976 in Ohio and 1984 in Denver and just stunning to hear and watch live! I have been to about 8 Dweezil Zappa shows and now he is touring starting 1/19/25. He is absolutely one of the best and his fabulous band too!
