I'm pretty sure Mundane isn't permanent, it went away for me after a little bit and I ended up being able to enjoy the *juicy* +9 perk points.

There is a good base on the way over to the CGE Corp factory thats more ideal for Solo play and that is the Riverside Radio Station. Not only is it surrounded by a heavy-duty metal fence but it has a second wire-mesh perimeter fence that covers a wide area. It has a few holes which can be patched up with wood fences and there is even a dirt path that allows you to forage all the way down to the nearby trailer park and factory. It's got a basic living space, an industrial shed that spawns a good amount of loot and plenty of parking and farming space with a very small zombie population in the area. Only gripe is that it lacks any kind of food storage or cooking space so you maybe reliant on non-perishables or campfire cooking until you can secure a fridge, freezer or antique stove which can be found fairly easily in the factory and storage units in the town below.

Student driver is great for a wilderness playthrough.

There is a mod I'd recommend called "Smokers delight" since your such an advocate for Smoker, it adds more variety to the cigerettes, cigers and even adds a few crafting recipes such as making roll-ups and an improvised lighter out of the junk it leaves behind. It does add an extra step to smoking tho (ie you have to pull cigerettes out of packs to smoke them). There's also some QoL mods I'd recommend, such as Rainwash & Rain Cleans blood, which can aid in performance and hygiene, as well as "Functional Clothesline" which as the name implies, allows you to dry and wash clothes without needing a washing machine or dryer.

not to be gross but if the devs ever add using the bathroom like the sims we can all try Zombieland IBS

Hello good sir I was wondering if you could make an in depth guide on crafting? I've recently started playing with some friends and while we are learning the step by step process to create certain things it would be awesome to see a video on the less straightforward crafting.

I'd kind of like to see your negative traits tier list, because a lot of these are weird to me. Fast healer, thick skinned, low thirst are all things that are MASSIVE point costs because I normally take the negatives. As one example, I normally play with high thirst so low thirst essentially costs 12 points. 12! That is an absolutely huge point investment for an incredibly niche trait.

I PROMISE you that the Axe beats the Crowbar hands down, and new players will survive better with it. Look at the stats: AXE - 3 kilos, .8-2 dmg, .61-1.2 range, 13 durabilkty, 1 atk spd .3 knockback, 20% crit, 5 x crit multiplier CROWBAR - 2 kilos, .6-1.15 dmg, .61-1.25 range, 15 durability, 1 atk speed .5 knockback, 20% crit 2.5x crit multiplier Literally the only two things the crowbar has on the axe, is it weighs a kilo less, its more durable (which isnt saying much considering the axe is already very durable)it has barely more reach, and its more common. This isnt even counting lumberjack, OR the fact that it breaks down doors very fast OR the fact it chops wood too. Lol, the crowbar cant even be used to pry open cars, windows, doors, ect without mods. The crowbar fanboyism is the only reason this conversation even exists, otherwise, it isnt even a debate. The crowbar is a decent to good long blunt weapon at best.

Its really not even a contest. The whole "It will ruin my clothes" argument is completely ridiculous. 1 there are infinite zombies aka infinite clothes, 2 just use a blunt weapon if you really want them that badly 3 who cares? Youre trying to survive, not look fancy

7:35 during my playtroughs i noticed that when using this trait you get a higher chance of getting infected even if you get just scratched, or it was prob bad rng in multiple saves

To see burger flipper in C instead of S where it actually belongs feels wrong. Burglar is a noob trap, a B at best, same as Police officer. Fire Officer can be an S built in a certain way, Veteran a C, too many points for little benefit most of the game, Lumberjack is fine as A. Repairman is a C because it costs 12 points, when it can be simply be replaced by the Handy trait for 8 points. The extra 4 points for Short Blunt might be worth it for some, that's why its not a D. Park Ranger okay as B, but Engineer is a clear A considering it gives unique recipes. As for why Burger Flipper is an S, its because it costs only 6 points while giving you Maintenance, which would otherwise cost 8 points with Handy. Its simply a better option than unemployed and as a bonus it also boosts cooking to help you use rotten food for cooking sooner, and short blade.

I knew there is a gun store inside Ohio Mall, but.... the thing is, I didn't knew at the time it was THE MALL. It was my main goal while visiting Louisville, to loot that gun store. I thought it's a smaller mall and I expected a decent amount of zombies here but I wasn't prepared for a actual number of them. So I entered Louisville and proceed up East to the mall, I made my way to West entrance and I was greeted by a small horde, I easily managed to clear it. I stepped inside killing few more zombies and was walking towards the gun store when more of them started going after me.. I play with survivors/NPCs mod so thankfully I wasn't alone there, this mod has one major downside which I'll say more about in a moment. I was using fireaxe but eventually I had to equip my rifle which was strapped with suppressor, it didn't help a bit because huge chunk of Mall's population already knew I was there. I decided to leave my NPC companions and enter gun store by myself, I quickly killed everyone inside and begun looting whatever loot I saw, I had to act quick because each second was one less percent for me to leave alive. I've managed to take 2 pistols and whole lot of .553 and 9mm ammo boxes, at the time and situation I was in, it was extremaly great loot but I couldn't really enjoy it yet. When I was leaving the gun store, I couldn't see my companions because they panic and run away if they are outnumbered, they were alive tho since I saw their names, there was also no zombies too close to me, I've used the opportunity and managed to leave. While running towards the exit, my companions joined me, unfortunately we were cut short by zombies leaving from grocery store and toy store I believe, we had to fight. Remember when I've said that NPCs panic while outnumbered? Yeah well they tend to push you while panicked, one of them pushed me right onto a group of zombies... I survived but got bitten and almost bleed out. It was yesterday and today my character finally died. It was a great run lasting almost 4 months, kinda sad it ended like that.

I personally like to take obese and unfit. Yes the penalties day 1 are horrid, but having lvl 0 fitness by itself isn't really a huge issue unless you plan on fighting all day. Once the weight goes away, you're not really that much worse off than if you started with 5 fitness, and the first 1/2 levels of fitness give you the biggest gains for relatively little xp aynway. All in all, I like that setup well enough.

Lucky is actually the most efficient buff for foraging you can get, anything that goes over 0.1 vision per perk point is above average, and lucky gives 1 vision for 4 points! It's amazing for foragers. Eagle eyed is another most bang for your buck trait for foragers, as it also gives 1 vision range for 6 points this time, again great for foragers

Honestly when I'm on a server I tend to pick slow reader anyways, cuz I don't like going out at night I replace sleeping with reading all night. And I can just put my character to reading while people are at the base or I'm locked behind several doors and I can go do any chore I want without worrying about my character just sitting there doing nothing, he ain't finishing that book this night.
