Where did you look up the Z dimension? Are you sure it's 48mm?

The fmf almost sounded the smoothest to me, I’d like the shorty for high speed flow days and the stock for hard enduro.

Were to get the repair manual for 2024 ktm 250 sx? I have been searching for it and I can't find it and I am lost.

I get one 2 hr race and I have to flip any tires I run. Just got the talon to try this weekend. I wish I could run a tire for 10 hrs before flipping!

You don't need a special torque wrench for your cylinder nuts, just a small extension / adaptor - they're like $10. FYI

I put one on. It was good for about 4 hours then started getting loose. Brand new seemed equal to the 525 cheater but then faded. I’m in about 20 hours and it’s painful to ride. I’ve lost most stopping power and it’s spinning on anything loose. I’m done with it. My 525 on the other hand seemed to get better with wear and lasted much longer (50 hours? Including a trip to Death Valley!

When setting the z dimension you said the spec is 48mm. I can’t find this anywhere in my repair manual. Mine is set to 50mm. How does this affect the bike and I’m assuming I should set it back to 48mm? The engine has never been opened btw.

That’s crazy I run 20 hours on my 450 racing motocross before I change the oil and it never gets that bad 😂 and the smokers I do it every 10 and still don’t get that kind of color where you riding it at?

Excellent vid. I did the install but added an 11 oz flywheel weight and the up-graded Ricky Stator 70W Stator. The White map is XCW-like now but the Green map did not change.

Just found out KTM is owned by Baja 300 Austrian technicians laid off what the heck is going on? We are told by actual KTM technician they would not touch a KTM anymore with your 10-ft pole KTMs 300 are blowing cylinders off or 2024 Husqvarna was leaking oil so bad out of the shift seal they replaced it twice now. Is this true? Please tell what you know about this

I installed two-stroke performance ERM basic tune mapping is awesome and fuel miles greatly improved I then installed a few weeks later the medium compression head which gave me even more fuel miles and more down on the bottom definitely worth the money to buy the ERM module for the extra $150 so you can tune and it also gives you the codes, also spend the money on the mapping switch Yes it's bullshit $180 but if you ride the woods you definitely might want to tune down that wheel spin after all you just spent 12 grand on new bike

question where you got the manual that shows you the cilinder meditions ? and my cilinder is showing 68mm on a tx300 tbi 2023

That's dark oil for 10 hours, you must spend a lot of time on the clutch. In my 300 i do it at 40 hours and it's still mostly caramel with a small amount of discoloration from clutch debris in the oil that comes out first (bottom of the sump).

Would the stock xcw flywheel fit on this I think it's heavier

I like the handguards. Do the 2023 flag style guards fit on those wrap arounds? Looks like you have older style flags on

The longer muffler produces more top end and the shorter mufflers produce better bottom to mid.

That’s crazy I had the exact opposite results. I have the pro circuit 296 which is their spark arrestor basically the same as the FMF. I hated it so much, it made the bottom end feel rich and lethargic. I bought the Spanish racing end cap for the stock silencer and haven’t looked back. 2023 KTM 300 XC tbi.

How did you get those graphics? I'd love a set of RB graphics!
