The lack of noise has an obvious solution, playing cards in the spokes!

Range will still be low since battery tech hasnt evolved yet.

Taddy IS NOT racing a Stark in the SuperEnduro series. The FIM (read: KTM) killed his entry.

Yeah interesting, obviously posted this before it was official. Looks like the series was happy to have him (probably got extra press cause of it too) but the larger FIM governing body killed that.

M.A. (Motorcycling Australia) have integrated electric bikes into the racing program a year before anyone will even get their Vargs.

The fact that they have had electric car racing leagues. Both on and off-road, highlights international endeavors in forcing a technology nobody wants...

I want electric, anyone with a brain does. Eelectric is far superior in performance.

I want to see electric dirtbikes the most. The performance is better already and price is on par. Get to ride more instead of adjusting valves, replacing pistons, cleaning air filters, etc..

The deciding factor for me putting a deposit down on my Stark was paying a mechanic $700 to get my engine running again only to waterlog in what looked like a small puddle 10 minutes later. Engine is full of sand. That small mistake quoted me $2400 for a full top end rebuild, which is basically totalled. I wanted to never have those kinds of problems again. I'm busy and live near a city, so when I go out to the country to ride I need the bike working the next morning with 99+% reliability and minimal maintenance. I was spending more time fixing than riding. Everyone has different means and values, but electric is awesome for me.

So many advantages electric is going to have over ice, just as in 4x4s. But we’re not quite there yet.

Rode a few, a Surron light bee and an Alta, only for a short time though. Excited for the tech to evolve to where it will fit my riding style and needs👍

in Europe there are off-road places where there are no time restrictions for electric motorcycles. Petrol motorcycles having limited time limits. Because of the noise.

  • @aandmelectric

Your noise argument is ridiculous, by that reasoning an Ashley Fiolek would have been disqualified from racing.

Do some more research and ride electric motos before posting trivial opinions. So much guessing clogging the flow of info on the net as is.

These piles of crap will never make the test of time... My recreational dirt bike is 23 years old. It still has a lot of life in it. It just needs fueling the tank...
Electric vehicles will not make future transportation, pollution problems, worth ditching the internal combustion engine.

electric motors have the potential to be far more durable and reliable. One moving motor part FFS, it's not rocket science to work out they can be way more long lasting.

    • @Tazdeviloo7
      @Tazdeviloo7 Рік тому +1

There are 10 year old electric Zero bikes that people rebuild the batteries for using Nissan Leaf cells. It's hit or miss on which ones have viable battery support 10+ years later, it depends how open the software is. The drivetrain is very simple though so you can always bypass the stock software by throwing on a custom controller & battery.

Electric is pointless tech. Pushed and made possible through government. These is no reason to use electricity over ice. Claiming less maintenance is shady, the bike hasn't proven itself yet, and from what I can see it has most of the same common wear parts an ice bike has.
It doesn't matter if you wrap the bike in bubble wrap and store it in a vacuum, the battery still degrades every day, and in 5-10 years it won't even be practical to use under the best conditions. You can put thousands of hours on an ice engine with basic maintenance using low cost aftermarket parts. In 20 years the ice engine should still be in service, zero chance the made in China electric motor and speed controller of an electric bike would be.

It is better than your ktm. But it definitely won’t go as far lol but for enduro cross or supercross amateur motocross, it’s the best bike. Hands down

@@JasonMitchellfun "Only problem is range.." You're not looking at the big picture, Who invested in Stark? Couldn't be a company that specializes in tax credits, government incentives and access of tax cattle in general.. Without these massive investments from these government leach specialist companies. Varg e wheel wouldn't exist.
