Hello and welcome to Token Tech. Here I like to talk about tech, tinker with PCs, play games in windows and linux, and have fun with technology. What really bothers me is the stigma around linux and especially linux gaming. It isn't equal to windows but it isn't far behind. I love gaming on linux and so come check out my linux gaming live streams.
Living with an Intel Graphics Card
Hey today I want to talk about my time with an Intel gpu. It has been a mixed bag to say the least and I am going to sell this graphics card. The performance is inconsistent, you need a very modern system to even try to use it, and it still have hardware and software issues. When it shines it really does shine but it does not shine enough. This product gets me excited to see what Intel will do next but for now I think we should all stick to AMD and Nvidia. let me know what you think below!

Hey all it has been a while. I have been really sick and have been diagnosed with a chronic illness, which means I will try to upload more often but I can't promise a schedule. I think the Z1 ROG Ally is the one to get, tell me what you think in the comments!
iPad VS Tab S8 - Response to Mac Address

Hey all! first video in a while and it is a response video to Mac Address (LTT's apple channel). I usually like the videos from this channel but this one just didn't seem right so I figured I would make a video about the issues I had with the video and weigh in on the questions at hand. Do iPads have competition in 2022? I think they do. Let me know what you think down below! Don't forget to su...

v2ray support ?
This keyboard is the worst i have ever owned. Mine is in permanent standby mode in the bin
is it actually good to install linux on a mac pc from 2018?
and if you install pop os can you still go back to macOS?
I run my 3800x on 4.3 ghz and 1.25v. It's good for processor?
allcore 4.3ghz @ 1.25v is very good . my 3600 is doing 1.275 4.3ghz , thinking whether should i do 1.3 4.5ghz
@@RayLee-bp4qs I had a 3600 and set the clocks to 3.6 GHz
2024 rx 5500 xt 8gb 40fps alan wake 2 1650 26fps
Nice and interesting video. I also have the 3700x and I used to leave everything at auto and got around 5200 in the coretemp stress-test. Now i tried manually setting my frequency to 4.1 GHz and 1.250 V and i get over 5500, temp is at 69 celsius at most using the stock Wraith Prism-cooler so im quite happy, cheers!
I am running 1.35v and im wondering is that extra 0.025v really gonna hurt it? I dont do anything seriously demanding on my cpu and I mainly just play games with your everyday tasks
I setted up my openvpn file using openvpn access server, (openvpn-as) and uploaded file to raspap , but it didn’t working ? Any solution
Hey TokenTech have not seen you in ages I hope you been doing well, not sure where you are most active these days, on Odysee or here on YT, ya still have discord by any chance? as my graphics card goes I finally upgraded from my Sapphire Nitro+ RX Vega 64 to a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6800 XT Special Edition, most games are around 3.4x as fast it's a ridiculous performance increase rofl! I did keep the V64 as that is a vital part of my graphics card collection :) As for the Intel cards I am curious about Intel Battlemage as the ARC 770 LE goes might still have to add that one some time, the A750 is a nice card just a shame about the 8GB since 8GB cards are kind of phasing out these days. But hey I hope to see you around bud.
I know that I'm late in the game. Can I use this setup but instead I'm using it as a WiFi router I want it to connect to my router as the router itself will have a stronger signal. My setup will be Modem->(WAN)Router+(LAN)Pi
not in its base configuration. the wifi signal is pretty weak unless you add an antenna which would be a separate wifi receiver. it can be done but you would need a different guide
It would really help to know which RPI OS you selected for this video. It sounds like you used a Desktop version which is NOT supported by RaspAP...
Cheers mate! Sorted! Finally I'm not running at 58 degrees on desktop 🤣 now sitting between 42 & 45 degrees on desktop 👍 I'm using a 3900X
Thanks bro very clear
That's weird i have the same cpu and the core voltage was already on auto 1.1v but yours were 1.5v
Could be bios updates over time
this will work for 5600g ??
Undervolting works with any chip, cpu or gpu. The difference will be how low or high you can put the voltage for stability and safety. The 5600G is quite different so I would recommend looking up what voltage is safe for the 5600g, or test it out yourself
Great video. Helped a lot. My 3800x idles around 35-38c and in demanding games with max graphics set, the max temps are around 70-73c. And all this during summer, where room temps are between 25-29c
Does the custom install allow me to install POP to a partition, so I can dual boot?
I’m pretty sure that is part of the install process but I’m not totally sure
Yo what’s pomales I miss you so much why’s you leave on us we gotta hang out
Didn’t leave by choice, got sick and still figuring it out. I hope the rest of the year was okay for yall
I’m glad we got a 3rd player in the market but I’m not going to try one until 2nd/3rd Gen because I sell the PCs I build and I don’t want issues.
I totally get that. This is def for people like me who have more curiosity than sense lol I really believe by 3rd gen they will be a really strong competitor and probably really good for production workloads. We need more competition against cuda and Intel could do it with Quicksync
I definitely wouldn’t buy one! I’ve heard of other people with a similar experience as you and the display port problem is pretty major. This card has too many issues. Hoping the next generation will be better.
Yup best to sell it before it loses even more value.
I don’t think the non extreme z1 is going to make much of a difference in the battery department. At the same time, the z1 apu is likely less capable than the steam decks custom apu on the gpu side. But a little more capable on the cpu side. Not the balance you are really looking for in a portable gaming device. While the new Z1 has an RDNA 3 iGPU it has only half the CUs that the steam deck has, and RDNA 3 is not twice or more performant than RDNA 2. So it is strictly a downgrade on that front, but plenty capable for 2D indie stuff, and older 3D stuff I’m sure. As far as Battery Life goes, I expect it’s going to be much the same story. The chip that the z1 most resembles is the R7540U much like the z1 extreme being most closely related to the R7840U both of these chips are 15w - 28w chips, and if the z1 has been tuned similarly to how the z1 extreme was, then we are looking at a 9w floor, and a 30w ceiling. Potentially 35w plugged in. If that all holds true to expectations, then we are looking at the same kind of battery life between both models of Ally, with if it’s lucky the z1 not losing as badly at lower TDP due to the less demanding hardware it contains. Likely not needing to draw as much power to perform at its most power to performance wattage. Likely around 15w-18w with its fewer cores. So it will likely get better battery life at its peak performance envelope than the z1 extreme model due to that models peak zone being 18w - 25w. This all in mind, I think the z1 extreme model Ally, or the steam deck are the real choices. The z1 model being an option if you really only care about older gen emulation, older pc games, and 2D stuff. And want to take advantage of the 1080p for media consumption. Of course the tuning on the z1 could be way better than expected, and those 4 CUs in its iGPU could be really putting in work and match the steamdeck at higher TDPs but that would come at the cost of time away from the outlet. As for the price, speaking strictly from the point of buying in the US, $100 difference between models. But it feels like far more than $100 difference in performance. Moving from 6c/12t cpu to 8c/16t cpu and 4CU GPU to 12 CU GPU. So theoretically 20% more CPU performance, but 300% GPU performance. Everything else is the same. I want to see them head to head for benchmarking, but I don’t know anyone who would take a 3rd of the performance to save only $100. Needing to plug in to take full advantage of the power at hand doesn’t sound so bad. I’d love if plugging in my steam deck let me get a little extra out of it on the performance side. TLDR; Cheasy Crackers.
Ally will continue to get updates they said this already in their review. Are you one of these steam deck simple?
Never buy on a promise
@@TokenTech I have 10 mil €.Bye
I have a steam deck and I'm selling it and buying this... Already pre-ordered... Don't listen to this guy... 🤦
Are you enjoying now?
I have a steam deck and I still ordered the Asus ROG Ally money well spent !!
Personally, I don't think battery life is going to make much of a difference. Especially with being able to lock clock speeds and disable cores
Thats true, for those who are willing to tinker almost anything is possible. I used to undervolt my cpu and gpu to get better temps and clock speed.

Rog should run Linux on their steam deck device

What if I just turn off over clocking. Amd5 3600 Asus B450M-PII what is the highest safe temp for Amd 5 3600?
👍You are an excellent tutorial creator, thank you for not going on and on about extraneous digressions and making me dig for information. A real pleasure to watch. New Build w/ Ryzen 5 3600 on B450M-PII & Temps are too high w/o a load. I don't even know how to play games.
Thank you for sharing with us. New fren here..
here i am watching this is 2 years when they dont support my intel mac anymore lmaooooooo. lemme get pop os
I have a 3700x not work for me ):
Great video. I used to this because my CPU was overvolting. Bios still reports the CPU Core Voltage is 1.5. HWMonitor says the VCore is exactly what I set it at. So the CPU is only using 1.56v when booting but as soon as it goes to Windows it’s 1.375. Got a new sub here man
8:00 probably best to keep it as wpa2 only, coz adding wpa (which less secure than wpa2) ain’t helping with security. Adding both (mixed) allows less secure connections, (which some devices may only be able to connect on), but it’s 2023 and pretty much everything can use wpa2 👍
3:00 did u ever try disabling the onboard wifi and using a wifi dongle? I remember I had a case that acted like a faraday cage lol, so adding one line to /boot/config.txt disables the onboard wifi Place anywhere dtoverlay=disable-wifi The pi will just assign all wifi traffic to the wlan1 now (USB wifi dongle) 👍 Pretty sure having a VPN running wont affect this at all, as all the dtoverlay does is disable the onboard wifi, ..pi goes looking and find the USB anyway👍
Yes! I subbed! Thx man I checked the RaspAP GitHub and the install instructions have changed, just letting you know in case you were going to do an updated video on this! The GitHub has come a long way in the last year! Thx again
I just found this video and I think doing your settings fixed an issue I had with my ram not working at full speed (upping the voltage helped with that but also doing the line load at 3 seems to keep everything super stable). I'm so grateful for this content. I also used DDU to properly uninstall and reinstall an NVidia driver and fingers crossed no more random crashing. I've test with Aida64, and Furmark so far so good. Keep up the good work!
i got a blue screen by putting it on 4300 got scared
Did the AI Tweaker as recommended in this video and now I've got a white VGA light of death, which apparently is a common symptom of messing with voltage incorrectly and means either 1) mobo reset completely and needs to be flashed again or 2) cpu is dead thanks to undervolting. I know I know, they literally promise you that you cant ruin a CPU with undervolting but I think Ryzen thinks otherwise. DO NOT DO WHAT THIS VIDEO SAYS.
go to work cuz
I have the brown switch version and I've been using it for 2-3 years now. It's my first mech keyboard and I love to type in it since day 1, but I hate how susceptible to these kind of issues it is and how much maintenance/cleaning it seems to need (1/2 of my problems are solved by taking the cap off and removing a single hair or fur that made it's way between the pcb and the switch). In my case the problems come and go and the only key that keeps having them over and over is the left CTRL even though I have replaced the switch a couple times already. Sometimes I get angry at it and miss my cheap membrane logitech kb. It's old, and it's boring but I can rely on it to work 100% of the time.
Yeah you will lol...
I'm with an massive issues with my R5 3600 ALMOST,98 on gaming only using a liquid cooling too
you should play rust! it's a great game. the hollow night is also a great game.
great video!!!!!
So im good with 1.35V no load and ~1.3V under full load with LLC on. My 3600 can do 4100 to 4200 mhz with that voltage under load depending on what you view as stable: Cinebench-stable... Prime95 Small FFT-stable... there can be 100mhz difference between those. 4200 seems to be the limit 4250 already crashes Cinebench. Should have bought a 3600X that would probably clock to 4400. 4200 is kinda shitty imo probably combination of ~80C core temp, the weakass vrm of my b450 board and a not so great 3600 CPU that's at the lower end of the silicon lottery.
Ubuntu Budgie works a treat on my old Mac Book. Even wifi worlked straight out of the box.
