It's my understanding that you are not the only one having this problem in windows 10 , on the ather hand i am not using windows but i can tell you for shur is not beacose you dual boot .. anyway i am glad you are still one of us :)
Oh yeah I know it's not cause I dual boot lol I've had nothing but issues with win 10 so I'm just sticking to Linux full time. Should have made that clear
Just last week I booted into my windows drive for the first time in 8 months. The first thing that happened was updates and it needed to reboot 3 times, so 40 mins later I could -use my computer- Then I opened some software and it too wanted to update as did almost everything I opened and another reboot later I could -finally use my computer- Then I needed to update my graphics card drivers and a final reboot . In Linux you update when you want and everything is updated at once, usually without reboots. Other than that it was fun to play PUBG and LoL again. I do miss cool software like Radeon Adrenalin, MSI afterburner (&RivaTuner), Wallpaper engine.
yeah I'm sure there are fixes and work arounds for many of windows 10's issues. But for a software that costs as much as it does and for a company as big as microsoft to not implement a fix after all this time is just insulting to their customers
The unfortunate thing is most of the fixes for windows 10 are temporary. The next update or restart will undo our hard work. It is a lot easier to deal with something like Linux that stays so stable you get bored. Lol

Yeah there is cool stuff on windows but dang that sounds dreadful. Also I've gotten to play lol through lutris, has it not worked for you?
You can install league of legends on linux with lutris.
MX Linux works for me. Less tinkering more on working in something.
There is a powershell fix for the windows start menu, but yeah! Lol screw that.
