3000 miles per year is very little. This is a big car for that, but if you were to look for a used one, you might find the price more reasonable. It's a good car, the range isn't amazing, but for your annual mileage it will be fine. Unless you really need the size, it might make sense to buy a smaller electric car :)

Depends on location. Right now, there are no super chargers in Glasgow... there will be in a few months but for the last few years owners had to drive quite far just to get one, which defeats the purpose

Yeah, I prefer having physical controls for important functions. I've used self-driving a few times, mostly for reviews, and it is quite cool. Definitely not an essential assistance feature, but I probably would use it if I had it haha I'll be posting a full review of the BYD Seal Excellence hopefully this week too, so it'll be a good comparison for this.

@@darknetcs so you would spend 50k on a car with no idea of the after sales experience? what if you have something need fixing under waranty - i would personally not roll the dice on a chinese brand yet with zero reputation. Also, have you even thought about the ease of charging a Tesla vs. the BYD? Superchargers are by the far the fastest, cheapest AND most reliable network. FOr that reason alone, the Tesla wins hands down...

Great question! The Wildtrak is more of an appearance pack, adding posh features like heated seats and privacy glass. The Ranger Tremor is built to be off-road. It has slightly smaller 17-inch alloy wheels (compared to 18 on the wildtrak) with chunky all-terrain tyres for better grip, and high performance Bilstein dampers for better control and comfort on uneven surfaces. It also gets twin front tow hooks, tubular sports bars and trail turn assist as standard, making off-road driving less scary haha

I think Suzuki will be better than MG in terms of service and reliability, but Honda are a great company too. I've never tested a Jazz, so I can't really compare. I'm glad you're enjoying it - you get what you pay for!

Hi! Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts. I agree that the fake gears and sounds help ICE drivers transition smoothly. Like you say, it's not a typical EV experience. Switching everything to normal mode makes the 5 N feel boring after driving like a maniac! It will take time to adjust and get people to trust electric vehicles. I enjoy them now that I've tested a few. Sorry for the audio. I can't help my strong Scottish accent, but my next investment is in a better microphone. Hopefully that will make it clearer :)

The new interiors are nice throughout the range. The evoque is smaller and lighter so it'll handle much better at speed. Are you enjoying it?

I like my combustion engines as much as the next enthusiast, but some electric cars are amazing. EVs are perfect for people who do short journeys. Not everyone in the world is a car nut, and not everyone looks for the fastest or loudest cars.

10 year warranty. Also nothing wrong with EVs and Combustion co existing. This is one of the most comfortable EVs. Better than Tesla.

No, I didn't try that out. I personally don't find it useful haha my own car has it and I only use it when I'm showing someone how it works... The car itself isn't bad. I just think it could be so much better. Did you hear the constant whine inside too?

@@DylansCarReviews I drive a modified BMW 135i coupe with N54 myself, which arguably steers better in corners, mainly bc it is 750kg lighter, but this 5N is loads of fun in corners as well. And past the apex, accelleration out of the corners is insane, especially with the smart torque vectoring Hyundai built into this car. I think on track this car is quicker. Also, all the new gadgets and assists when just driving commuter trips are really a plus. Driving long distances is a lot less tiring with all the adaptive CC, lane assist and head up display information. This car really got me thinking about selling my E82...

I imagine there is a lot of data to back up that decision, as I know Suzuki genuinely listen to their customers. It's a shame you still felt the same after a test drive, especially since you're enjoy your current model so much! Do you think you'll keep it for longer now, or will you be looking at another brand soon?

I certainly would not put off anyone buying the new Swift, Suzukis are brilliant cars, I was just making the point that it seemed a backward step regarding the performance of the engine. I will definitely be keeping my current car, it is great. A couple of other things that really annoyed me about the new model was having to turn off all the warning notifications each time you start it up, it was so annoying with bleeps every minute, and the loss of the fog lamps in the front also.

I am aware Rafale has cloth seats....but they are that suede style

@@jeffleigh3747 oh no! There is nothing worse than worrying you've bought the wrong car. Leather is nice, but freezing in winter and sticky in summer haha! Cloth can be more practical. I haven't tested Rafale, I'm not sure how it compares, but the Sportage is a great car with a good warranty too. The Austral E surprised me, though. I liked it more than I thought I would. I think you'll be happy when it arrives... waiting for delivery is the worst!
