Based in the figures you're quoting, it seems your reviewing last year's model - the 2024 Enyaq 85 is more efficient and powerful, closing the gap to the Tesla figures you quoted, and features battery preconditioning which should address your concerns about charging speeds. Thanks for taking the time to comment. As you can see throughout the 10 minute video, this is in fact the 2023 model. Not 24 as you rightly stated. This video was uploaded last year 😊
It can't be overstated, the leap from enyaq 80 to 85, not just the power train, but also the infotainment systems. To the extent that some early adopters are feeling a little grumpy.
@@gordonjblair it’s good that it’s improved so much. The charging time was my biggest issue with it. I can totally understand why people might be miffed about buying an earlier version, but it would be more annoying if brands never updated anything
Comparing a 5 seater with a 7 seater is not realistic. And the model Y has 825lts of boot space. The Enyaq has a much better interior I think. The Tesla will always win on tech and charging though.

@@janatlmb2770 thanks for the feedback :) this video was a while ago now, I hope my recent videos have improved. Regarding which one to buy, I prefer the skoda. It's not far off the Tesla specs, but looks nicer in my opinion 😊 I'm talking to Tesla now, so keep an eye out for reviews on them!

The Tesla has nothing on this except maybe some better EV tech.
