      There are gas cylinder support stands available, some are quite pricey. There’s also cylinder stands with wheels that make moving it around a bit easier.

    I just got an old dax gorilla z50 and started my restoration. I just cleaned my carburator but there is still one big problem. When it seemed like everything was clean i tried to blow on the thing where the fuel goes in. BUT its is stuck super hard, tried blowing with air pressure pump, didnt work. The last thing i could think of was putting it in vinegar for the night. I would like to know what you would do.

    • @No-Pro

      Nice 👌 hope the restoration is going well. I normally use some carb cleaner, some come with a little straw attachment and you can get it pushed into the jets and give it a spray. I also have a set of carburettor needles and brushes. They’re tiny little needles and brushes in all sorts of sizes and you use them to unblock the jets etc you can find them on Amazon.

      Not too much just for the centre part of the seats, if it’s just a single width Harris tweed I’d get about 2.5 metres, if it’s a double width then you’ll get both seats out the width so about 1.5 metres.

    • @No-Pro
      @No-Pro 3 роки тому

      Off the top of my head I can’t quite remember but it was either the 0.8 or 1.6mm. If the gasket is a bit thicker it will seal any imperfections in the surface if it’s not been prepped properly, if you do use the thicker one just make sure to re-torque the bolts once you’ve ran the engine as it can compress when the engine expands and contracts with the heat

      That part number is from a slightly different light with the screw in the side. The bike I restored in the video was a french model and the light was slightly different. I originally thought it was a general import and it took me ages to find an original NOS light and chrome surround and cost me a small fortune, turned out I was wrong though and cmsnl told me it was a french bike originally and luckily enough they had the chrome surround part number 33101230621 I got an original NOS light and used this OE chrome surround, if the surround isn’t quite right it won’t fit perfectly. I’d speak to cmsnl and ask them to run your vin and they’ll tell you the exact bike you’ve got. I do like my light though, looks better without the little screw to hold the surround on.
