You both are so enjoyable and fun to watch. It’s also fun to see your dog enjoy his moments as well and even the cat having fun. ❤ All together Awesome Team work❤
A lot of hard work harvesting those olives, and the almost casual way Andrius said another half ton to go left me speechless (not a bad thing to be fair 😂😂) I always learn from you lovely people, I never realised that olives were so important or that oil itself had so many uses
ahh the olive oil is most important for us ... even today we still had picked more olives (last ones thank fully ) as we had some trees left .. we might get another 15L on oil .. and if we would sell it we would get 150 euros for it ;) But I use about 50 L oil through the year .. I don't use any other oil just olive as you can fry on it as well (When I lived in UK I was told we can't use olive oil for frying !!! what's not true !!!1 it's so much healthier to use olive oil that any other :) Gx
Standard construction would be to cut bird-mouth notches at both load bearing points of the rafters so they'd have a flat spot to rest on (ridge beam & walls) and then the roof would not want to slide off the building. This way all of the force is relying on the fasteners only to hold the roof in place unless you are planning to tie the rafters together with a bottom cord wall to wall. Nice, fresh olive oil to show for your hard work and new trees too!
we definitely not a standard couple LOL ... but I am sure it will work for us !!! we are so happy to have Raider to help us and we trust him 100 % ..it's just hard to work with this bad quality wood .. tat makes everything so much harder ... but we are getting there ;) and learning few bits Gx
oh you know Andrius .. instead of one screw or nail he will put 3 JUST ENCASE !!!! ;) tomorrow big day we putting T&G on !!! so it will be covered !!! Gx
Hello, is it because of the drought? because it was no rain for months there .. we are definitely over the moon with our harvest .. we had a lot of rain last winter ) Gx every year is so different
well maybe a bit more .... But I got about 500 in a bag's to plant later this month LOL ... (BUT it will be a year soon when I didn't had to buy onions from the shop ) XXXX
hi guys, glad to see some more trees going in,how much was the young olive trees and did you get a discount,im shocked you have not been taking cuttings of all your fruit trees, how was your wine now any good, good luck guys and see you in next vid.
Hey !! we didn't done any wine this year ... as grapes did not survived ... last years wine is not good as well .. so we happily drink shop wine ;) Olive trees costed 5.50 each and no you don't get discount ... :)
It's good to see someone using a post hole digger for planting trees. It's good to loosen the roots when transplanting the trees it helps the roots to grow, never cut them off.
How exciting the roof is coming along in leaps and bounds! Great harvest on the olives, what a privilege to be able to use your very own olive oil. How rewarding that must be having nurtured them through out the year. Nice to see you are replanting trees to continue the tradition of growing on the land! So important to keep the tradition alive. ❤
You have a good community there. One helps the other and you have a profit from that. If you sell the olive oil (and this year has a good price), you will can continue your building. Have a nice and productive week.
My favourite part of the roof was when all the beams were up. What a feeling!! Ok maybe second favourite, after getting the tiles and insulation up 😅 looking so good! 😍
Boa semana meus amigos ❤❤ God blesse you both 🙏🙏 🐕🐈🐔🐓🐣🐇
Woop woop we had wild boar meat two year ago .. we been gifted by friends when we arrived here .. so I slow cooked it for 7 hours .. OMG the taste was AMAZING .. meat is like beef so nice so soft .. ahh it was amazing Gx
Thanks for sharing another video. Sounds like Andriu got harvest fever! Planting new trees is always something nice. I hope ur new trees flourish n give Andriu more harvest the following years. As usual ur land looks very nice with all the work u have put in. Boars can be a pain. They may go for Andriu's newly planted trees.
Guilty pleasures A keep us going. You are making an investment in your future. Love seeing the roof progress and Guffy riding along and supervising.❤ Have a great week.
Lovely to see your new trees going in. We grew almonds on our farm when I was a child. The blossoms were amazing.. We had to wait ages for the nuts to be ready, but when they came my brother and I would sit for hours at a time cracking them with dad’s hammer. We were supposed to be doing it to supply mother’s pantry, but I think we ate almost as many as we saved Cheers for a future harvest ❤️❤️
@ not sure how long it takes for new trees to get nuts.. our were about 80 years old, planted by my great grandfather. They are still these and I left home and married over 52 years ago.. Very old trees now❤️
You have been busy. Did you find you had less olives to harvest this year? The almond trees will be a good addition to your farm. Planting more olive trees will be beneficial to the harvest in future years. Stay healthy. Stay safe.
You should have a hunters licence to be able to hunt wild boar ... shame .. as meat is the best we tasted so far!! (we been gifted some last year ... )
I think of all the water issues you have had, and than comes the dry periods almost every year, and I keep wondering when is the pond going to be built that would sustain your water needs all year long.
well strangely I been using well water all summer to water tomatoes and other veg in main garden and It was ok .. It didn't run out .. so maybe we are ok ? it lasted all summer .. so if we will cover well tops in a future this will safe more water .. we might have some good news then ;)
What a beautiful time of year there! Everything is green. Yes, I would spend my last dollar on olives trees also, but sadly we cannot grow them in our cold climate. Nice to see you both!
Great to see your roof coming along at speed too. What is your choice for insulation? Then I was happy to see your share of the harvest spoils; the olive oil 👏😎🥳 enjoy.
Hi, G&A 👋 V enjoyable content, thanks for sharing. II've been busier than usual but still watch every vid you put out even if i can't comment. So i just wanted to pop up and say hi 😉.
The price of olive oil is rising every year and with your new trees you can maybe offer it for sale to the people who watch your videos. I watch a lady who ships her oil to her viewers by mail from Sicily to most European countries and her business really took off. She is looking for more land with olive trees to up her sales.😇
That's what we want to do in a future as well :) I think we will have our lovely viewers who would love to buy it as well plus some other produce from our farm :) Thank you for your thoughts GXXXX
Good morning hope you all are doing well. Nice to see you again it's been a while since i watched the channel. How big is your home going to be? I mean the square footage.
I see all that Olive oil and I wonder if you can make any money off of it. Do you sell it back to the Olive Press, and if you do how much could you make?
people see the olive oil between 45-50 euros for 5L.. but if you sell to lagar they would take 7.5 euros per little... So it's not really worth selling it back to lagar :) Or olive press as you called.. Gxx
You both are so enjoyable and fun to watch. It’s also fun to see your dog enjoy his moments as well and even the cat having fun. ❤ All together Awesome Team work❤
one team one dream ;) It's so nice to read your lovely comment !!! Thank you for your time to write this Gxxx
At least you didn't spend all your money on fishing lures.😊 you sound a bit tired, Andriu. Don't push yourselves too hard.
That's a very good point !!! 4-5 years ago that would be reality .. all money would go on fishing !!! how good that now it goes on land ;) gx
How wonderful to have all that oil l! It must taste great being so fresh.
It tasted so GOOD !!!! smell was amazing as well !!! gx

@@portugalitis I agree much healthier, we have been using it to fry for a couple of years now and also find it tastes better too
Beautiful olive oil 😍more trees 💃💃💃are you allowed to hunt the wild piggies?

@@portugalitis Alright......you will be dried-in shedding the rain in no time!
I love seeing both of you in action. It lifts my spirits. The videos are made well and are fun to watch. 🤩
Thank you so much !!! Andrius spends hours edit it so it's so nice that you said this compliment :)
@@portugalitis Its worth it. Quality will translate into more viewers for sure.
Thank you :)Gx
I would suggest rather using nails or screws to join the peak of the rafters, to use black metal plates with screws or bolts. Just a thought
the plates worth of gold in here .. for 30 of them we paid just over 100 euros .. so we will use them only on top ;) Gx
So very nice to see you guys today. You’ve lifted my spirits after having a crushing week. Thank you!
Ahh hope you will have BETTER week and we are here to help you feel better ..hugs Gxxx
Nice buying more trees. This is what the land is for. Nice progress with roof. Looking forward to the food cooking in the kitchen❤
Thank you Anna !!! We are getting there ;) Gx
I'm pleased you had such a good harvest of olives over in Eastern Spain they had hardly any at all
Hello, is it because of the drought? because it was no rain for months there .. we are definitely over the moon with our harvest .. we had a lot of rain last winter ) Gx every year is so different
Nice drone shots thank you
Yes, I agree.. I was surprised to see just how tall the Eucalyptus trees were.. 😮
Glad you enjoyed it :) getting green everywhere !!! Gx
Me too !!! they do grow every year ... taller :)
Thanks lovely people for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys 💞 good work 👍😁 a lot of oil you could sell some liter's it's wurd like gold they say 💰
Thank you :) I do use 45-50 L of oil a year ... I use it everywhere .. and I cook with it :) Gx
A oliveira grande que transplantaram sobreviveu?
hello !!! Yes olivia still alive !!! I will film it for next videos so you all can see it :) Gx
Great work collecting all that fresh healthy olive oil. Have you checked the acidity level in your olive oil!.
No we didn't :( Maybe next time !!! Gx
😮 cucumbers still.. wow, G.. and lovely cabbages too.. ❤
Liz !!! How are you? Yes cucumbers ;) And planted more onions again !!!! but this time just about 200 ;) Gx

Excellent work ploughing those furrows across the slope of the hill. That will capture water and keep the soil moist. 💧

Want more olive trees? Cut thick branches and put them in the ground
If your friends trim their trees, use the cut down branches 👍
Thank you for the tips :) Andrius done 60 of them in a pots .. and he done about 20 in the soil .. he gone a bit olive obsessed ;) Gx

Same way you plant tomatos very deep like your olives so you have many extra roots like you are doing with your olive trees.

Turn it down, you are not required to listen to it. Personally, I like their music choices.
