I have the 1090ti and run msfs 2024 on high end graphics. When i first installed the sim the default graphics were set at low end, but I had a feeling my card could handle at least, high end. And it runs the sim very well. Not sure what fps I'm getting but it's a smooth experience and that is all that matters.

My main laptop is a 2013 Hp. My 2011 laptop is a server. I have an old Asus Chromebook that was purchased at a garage sale for C$25. I put Kubuntu on it. It is a great laptop to carry places. I can use it to stream jellyfin, I can use it for browsing, I can use it for typing. It is light and easy to carry around with great battery life!

I totally agree that is why I have mine I love the bezels because it's functional it has its camera it's Iris sensor etc iembedded in it The only thing I wish it still had was the IR blaster

It's been a long time since I have been in the Apple game, but have you considered running a Linux system over a live USB? I am not sure if this would be blocked as well since it intercepts the boot of MacOS. Then again I am not sure if there is a way nowadays to boot into USB without a keyboard shortcut. Way back when I was able to copy all files of a dead 2009 MacBook Pro to an external hard drive this way. Any way, best of luck!

I'm still running my i7-4790k GTX1080 ti DDR3 gaming pc, never came across a game I can't play and most on high or ultra settings at 1440p, truly the goat cpu/gpu's.

i still use my thinkpad x240. 5 keys are broken, and especially the letter g is very annoying not to have, but it still works after about a decade of occasional use, and i could maybe have 35 euros for it on the used market. battery is still good for 90 minutes

Been using that same Airport Extreme at my in-laws'. They live 9 hours from us, so when we visit, we usually visit for at least a week. My wife will sometimes spend a few weeks there, as she's able to work remotely. So, that used Airport Extreme in the upstairs spare bedroom gets connected to the modem with a really long Ethernet cable downstairs to the family room. Upstairs, my wife and I have our own wireless network and gigabit Ethernet for our computers. Best $40 I ever spent. (It came with a previous gen Airport, too!)
