    If I wanted to bake this recipe in a bean pot in the oven, what would I set the oven to & for how long?

    • @mayflylife
      @mayflylife 4 дні тому

      @@daveg1052 Recipes vary, but the average temperatures are 300⁰F to 375⁰F for about 3 hours. Your dry beans should be soaked overnight to rehydrate them. Slow cookers are low and slow, but a Dutch oven casserole will be somewhat faster. I'd set the oven no higher than 375⁰F for a few hours. More steam will escape out of a Dutch oven than a slow cooker, so keep an eye on it so that it doesn't burn or dry out.

      Hi Maureen. I usually make small batches and place in a jar and store in the fridge. I will fill a toothpaste tube and have it used up within 10-14 days. I'll go back to my jar in the fridge and refill my toothpaste tube. The refrigerated toothpaste can last for a while, but I won't go longer than a few months. I hope this helps.

      Thank you for your question. I prefer to use dry rice and then rinse with water later and leave to air dry. If your mortar and pestle instructs you to use wet rice, that’s fine. Not sure why they require wet rice. It come down to preference and this is the most popular method.

    I accidentally used Bentonite clay instead of Kaolin clay. Will this cause a problem for my body?

    • @mayflylife
      @mayflylife 6 місяців тому

      Bentonite clay is a great detoxifier and it absorbs like crazy, which means it will soak up the sweat. It shouldn’t cause any issues, but could be a little abrasive for delicate pits.

    This may be a dumb question, but it this deodorant suitable for men? Strength to minimize odor with moderate to extreme activity? Will it last 12 hours? 24 hours?

    • @mayflylife
      @mayflylife 6 місяців тому

      It’s not a dumb question at all. Yes, it’s made for men and women. Including a few drops of Tea Tree essential oil to the formula will help reduce the bacteria that causes the odour. It should last the day, but I’ve never tested it in extreme physical activities. The only thing you can do is test it by seeing how much activity it can handle. Sorry I can’t give you a definitive answer on that.
