this exactly what i was looking for. Excellent combis ! Love how you shot this video and obviously you SHRED. one question for ya: do you ever record the midi guitar into the kronos on MIDI channels 1-6 ? if so do ever edit your performance and is that a pain? I image with each string on separate tracks in the kronos it could be a little awkward to edit (?) either way im super excited about the potential to have a semi dawless midi guitar setup modeled after what you've built here. thanks a bunch:)

HEY i know this is an older video but i set up my DM4800 the same way you stated in this video. I want to use it to control my faders in protools 12 HD. For some reason protools is controlling the DM4800 faders. How do i reverse that? I'm using the HUI Emulate mode. Also how would i get the play and stop buttons on the DM4800 to control protools DAW and will the meter Bridge work as well?

My man, can I hire you to show me how to get this set up with Ableton? I picked this up a few years ago, (4800 near mint) and decided I wanted to start trying to use it, a week ago. (Space) I watched this video years ago, and it sounded like Chinese to me. I understood nothing. Now that I've been at it for a minute, I finally "get" the concept.
