What bike ist it?
@@FabianFR757 harley davidson dyna 2007
One thing I did notice tho is that your trying to drop back when your at balance point and going slow you gotta chase the wheelie a little bit to drop back because dropping back is gonna slow you down a lot and you need speed to lose when dropping back
@@Elevenstuntz word that makes sense ill try n go fast next sesh just feels like il loop out
We have 2 differnt bikes and gearing but Harley’s are so much engine break compared to a sports bike it takes a lot less rear break to drop back them a sports bike but I would start with just slightly riding the break once you start getting back there
@@Elevenstuntz appreciate the tips man !
I noticed a lot of guys use a second break leaver on the clutch side too I would want that if I was to try this.
@@ajskustom definitely but in my opinion learning rear brake on the foot is the most superior way and most skill based that allows your hands to be free for other tricks when u learn to drop back
@@Forever1wheel tru dat
@@Forever1wheelrear break first 100 percent sit down for me is so easy to drop back in
this is the first vid of yours and from the maximum tool i know your from canada. lol what part you in?

Would this work on a 103 Twin cam?
@@freddyg6940 im certain u can convert all twin cams
Rsc for life they are the original and everyone else just copied . Nice build , bro
@@Chicago_GTA copped one for my glide 💪🏽 thx G
I just bought an 01 as well. Been looking for this video for months. Let the games begin. Thank you
Glad to help 🙏🏽🤘🏽💪🏽💪🏽 good luck on the build
CVcarb doesn't need any processing, right?
I believe its the same i could be wrong though
🥷
man your video is all about the exaust and you dont even show how it sounds haha
Haha yea its still under construction couldn’t start it yet when im all finished il throw up a video
Your mic sucks
did you ever consider inverted front forks ? IDK but I heard that that is the way to go you got a nice dyna I have a old 1976 super glide and I just don't think I want to beat on it that hard I want a bike like yours someday.
Hey man thanks for the compliments on my ride its appreciated! Inverted forks are definitely top tier in my opinion in comparison to harley front ends but just not in the budget for me maybe one day though! And forsure you should definitely stick to whatever your goals are with your bike if you dont feel like thrashin it with stunts thats all good ! Build a nice cruisin bike and maybe down the road u could build something on the side u can mess around with!
@@Forever1wheel Right on man keep on doing what you do and I'll keep watching.
@@ajskustom thanks for the support 🙏🏽

What is your bike Year? This is Low rider s?
Ok got it.
2007 dyna lowrider
bike looks good af
I'm interested in learning how to wheelie, I have a cruiser to, what gear are you in when you pull it up? Should I be in 2nd?
Generally on most Harleys its 1st gear clutch up, but it also depends what cruiser you have and if it is set up to do wheelies if youre interested in learning tho id recommend buying a honda grom or a 110 pit bike to get the feel for it so you dont damage your main bike in case of a mishap
Can we all just quit doin this kinda stoooopid sht?
Haha not even close
hell yeah 🤘🏼
gangster
nice lot. i like those turn signal switches, did you just by the drag specialties switch and cut off the rest of the mounting bracket?
Thanks! And Yea just basically took the housing off its ghetto rigged right now but il be deleting all the controls soon for a cleaner look 👊🏽
@@Forever1wheel are you gonna keep your turn signals or delete those too? where is your starter switch and etc? I'm trying to think thru how to clean up my bars but I still want to keep my turn signals
@@astralis2194you can buy smaller buttons n run those to get rid of the housing ect but its alot of wiring i have a push start on my bike that’s on the starter and im probably going to delete turn signals
I'm rebuilding my FXR with a TC touring motor and touring swingarm. Going to let it be EFI and get the full fairing with the lowers and good bags. Set up for eating miles not stunt.
I'm happy with Bitubo's rear shocks.
Heard good things about them!
So much space for activities !
I know i was pumped well see how long this location lasts though haha
Impressive and reassuring to see this generation riding and wrenching old Harley Davidson Motorcycles. HDMC SHOULD PROVIDE PARTS INTO PERPETUITY.
Love my twin cams and i agree parts are getting hard to find but luckily we have a bunch of aftermarket selection that do a great job at fixing all HD’s weak points
Have 2001 roadking classic touring . Been looking at some conversion kits . But the intakes didn't have port for the map sensor . Was kind of concerned about that . Seemed cut and dried job except for that . Need to spend the $$$$ and get it done .
I think it depends what carb kit u bought for the bike i dont think its necessary tho seen some people without it
YEAHH!!
hell yeah soulfly🔥🔥
Nice!
So when do we see you fire it up & wheele?
Hopefully soon still waiting on my exhaust they said end of the month for it to come im but feels like an eternity also might have to do cam chest work too
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Glad to see you’re having fun!
Thanks steve hope you enjoy your summer !
Well done guys...cool
Thanks !
ouch. Pricey attempt.
No risk no reward brother ;)
@@Forever1wheel True story.
Any idea what exact coil you used it’s the one piece I can’t seem to find?
Its a coil from daytona twin tec they only sell 2 different ones mines a dyna coil made to fit on a bagger
👍🔥
🔥🔥🔥
Glad i could help !
I just threw the bung king brackets on my 2013 and they fit perfect, must have gotten a bad set like you said.
Honestly thats my guess mine were way off
Why is the factory lever garbage? I've had the original ones on both my machines for nearly 30 years without a failue.
@@mikeshay6614 Factory is made as cheap as possible and is a workout when you stunt, put in a ez pull and a good lever and you will never go back!
@@mikeshay6614garbage for stunting. As he said the stock levers will hit your knuckles.
I just picked up a ‘98 road glide cammed out to a 103 that’s injected, this is the first thing we talked about doing. Fuck yeah Holmes, thank you for the Vid!
Hey man no problem glad i could help sorry about the audio in some parts 👊🏽
did the rocker boxes and carb conversion why didnt you change out the rusted bolts
Refreshing the motor next winter il worry about it then
Nice bike
What jets are you running with this set up?
Im running What comes standard in the mikuni
Should’ve gotten elite levers! They come with matching front brake lever 👀😉
They are definitely nice i have them on my Dyna wanted to try something different this time though also going to be switching out the master cylinder for a brembo rcs19 master so it would have gone to waste
Do u have a parts number list? I’m looking to convert my 2000 road glide screaming eagle to carb
Total Carb kit is pretty much the same for all twin cams i believe its pretty universal For the namz harness youll have to look on the website and choose the one for your year bike or whether u want the one that eliminates cam position sensor it says in the description And same with Daytona twin tec and coil they also say what year bikes they are for might be different for yours being a 2000…. always best to just check the site my part numbers might be different than what you end up with wouldn’t wanna point you in the wrong direction
@@Forever1wheel thanks. Ya. It Should be the same as yours. that mm is junk
A guy has recently posted up a 2001 CVO road glide with 49k for 3500 USD. Is it worth that price? Considering it's probably gonna need swapped to a carb at some point? Especially if I wanted to do a top end rebuild and get work done to the heads.
For 3500$ id say yes as long as its not in terrible shape thats around 4800$ CAD for us up here u cant find road glides anywhere near that price unless its in a junk yard. But at the end of the day it really depends what your goals are with the bike harleys are definitely more expensive part wise than most bikes but if that bike is in good shape and no crazy issues id say jump on it the older models that had the better bottom ends are becoming harder to find
I just picked up a ‘98 Road Glide with a Bakers 6 speed for $3400 with around 70K mi, that’s a badass price.
🔥🔥🔥
lol, that was insane
What do you think the over all pice was for the conversion
Petcock pingle adapter 149$ Petcock 261$ 2 Intake seals 10$ Tank gasket 40$ Namz harness 245$ Mikuni hsr42 carb 761$ Daytona twin tek coil 175$ Daytona twin tek ignition 580$ Total was 2,221$ CAD this is taxes in and all
@@Forever1wheel thanks man
This vid gave me way more confidence to attempt. You see every “how to video” and everybody comes in hot and straight reved out, yours is slow and shows a good amount. Everybody’s got their own ways of learning 🤘🏻
Thanks man i think what helped me most was just doing every part as slow as physics would let me from just skidding into a 90 degree turn then stop turn bars dump clutch and gas then once u get comfortable u can go faster and make it look like one clean motion i think its hard for the pros to show that because they only know how to do it full speed versus breaking it down
@@Forever1wheel you’re not wrong at all, it was always nerve wracking to me to lean turn the bars and dump the clutch just cause… 500 pound harley lol. But like I said seeing you be able to do it wicked slow like that made it was less intimidating
@@Forever1wheelwas this first or second gear??
