    It’s not a real sauna if you can’t throw water! Harvia is made in Finland and they know you NEED to throw water on the rocks. That’s the best electric heater you can get! I am from Finland born in Tampere.

    a very good idea would be to install a higher bench - the Finnish insist the feet should be above the heater. a lot of the best heat and vapour is escaping to the upper part of your sauna and remains unused. In this setting your feet almost stay cold

  • @Janisg616
    @Janisg616 6 місяців тому

    For how many cubic foot was that heater rated? 4.5KW for such a small sauna seems overkill, 2.5KW should be sufficient. But maybe it heats up that sauna faster and then is turned off when a temperature is reached, and only turns for brief periods to maintain those 180F.

    A few thoughts. Cedar repels insects so definitely don’t spray toxic bug spray. Also the heater is best the way it is in my view . It’s not safe or good to leave on more than an hour , just set a timer on your phone . Also definitely leave the cedar natural rather than put a toxic stain that will allow toxic vapors to seep into the sauna that you will breathe in and absorbs into your body . Just my thoughts . Enjoy

    Harvia is the best when it comes to Sauna components. I have a 10KW and I purchased the WiFi panel so I can turn-on right from my iPhone I really love it and I’m gonna add the Harvia Autodose SASl1, so I can just press a button and it will release water automatically on the rocks. I am already getting amazing health benefits, and I’m sleeping better, and my testosterone has increased.

    I have a couple questions as I am definitly interested in grabbing one of these for myself! 1. Since the sauna comes with no floor, have you found this to be an issue? I do not know how I feel about sweating on my existing hard wood flooring and I feel that the heat will definitly attract some VOCs off the glazing on my finished flooring. 2. Have you seen or done any EMF testing on the Harvia heater? I cannot seam to find anyone with this information and this sauna has you sitting right up next to the electric coils so I was curious if you see this as a concern. 3. There is not much information on the materials that almost heaven uses, is the wood treated? I wonder if there are any VOCs/toxins that are given off you may be breathing. Sorry for the long one! Just concerned because I am deciding between traditional or infrared right now and it is such a hard/tedious decision because there is little to no hard/trustable information out there!

    • @RyanMillerSP
      @RyanMillerSP Рік тому

      All good questions. I put a bamboo mat down on my cement floor and cover that with a towel. The bottom of the sauna does not get very hot compared to the middle/top so I don’t think the floor is too much of an issue aside from sweating on it but a towel solved that. I have not done any EMF testing in it but I probably should. I know the wood on mine is rustic fir but I’m not sure if it’s treated. Sorry I know this response is not much help! I do know many of the infrared ones put off high emfs so you really need to do your research as to which ones are good.

    • @johnnyb9513
      @johnnyb9513 Рік тому

      @@RyanMillerSP All good! Yeah I was convinced that buying a infrared Radiant Health Sauna was the best for me and my scenario. Low EMFs/No VOCs/No Toxins/No RF/ No ELFs etc... The finish and product looks amazing. The only issue I have is that all the top branded and individually tested infrared saunas are manufactured in China. It sucks that these companies sold out and manufacture over there because thats a big drawback for me, even if they are still building with quality materials.... Oh well, im going to keep researching. I would totally go with a traditional sauna, if I had a yard and could place it outside. Im in a small condo in Chicago so hard to justify this sauna in bedroom haha. Anyways, nice videos. Its so odd that there is little to no information on these saunas out there. I would think there would be reviews everywhere but Matt Justice is really the only person with detailed testing and reviews online.

    This video has incorrect instructions for turning on the heater. The first click turns the heater on for immediate use. The second clicks turn the heater back off but puts you in the "delayed timer" area..(1= 1 hour, 2= 2 hours, 3= 3 hours, etc.)....this programs the heater to turn on later so it will already be hot when you want to go in. If you want to use right away, you do NOT want 2 clicks.

    • @RyanMillerSP
      @RyanMillerSP 2 роки тому

      The instructions in the video are correct. Turning it one click does not turn the heater on. To turn it on immediately it is 3 total clicks, two clicks clockwise then turning it back counter clockwise until it clicks.
