Like your style KevoBato. Idea for a new video for you: as a fellow Bato builder of systems, I'm at the point where I could really use a complete games list of what's on my given builds. Maybe you could do a video on how to do this. Maybe that Gameslist-Manager? Output would probably be a csv file tabbed out to each system/console/arcade/handheld. Couldn't really find anything on how to do this exactly. Keep up the great work, your humor is making me laugh every time I see your stuff.

Amazon Luna is actually pretty good, cloud gaming service if you have prime you get the regular Luna free there is also a + version it is better of course, recently Amazon team up with gog, so now a cloud gamer can play some of there gog library Without DL on to there device also there a rotating games list.

I think hypermax theme is the best! Of course you have to download it and then put it in the share folder

Great video, new sub here and loving your content! Quick question - don’t know if you can help?! I’ve been trying to use steam via the flat pack install as it’s a simpler process… on the v40 video guide on the batocera wiki, they install it and then the app appears under the steam category in emulation station… when I do the same the steam app appears under ports, and when I run it I get an error saying ‘can’t run as root’. I’m sure I could just run the app via terminal as a different user but that’s a faff as I don’t typically want a keyboard connected. Is this something you’ve ever encountered?? Thanks in advance!

Simple. Emulators that don't use copywritten code can exist. You must own a license to own the roms and bios of a console (you can legally dump your own rom/bios depending on the country you live in, like Canada), so any roms/bios downloaded that you do not own a license for is illegal, be it if the game/console is actively being sold or not; it still has a commercial license so, so-called "abandonware" status does not exist in ANY legal space.

Am not 100% sure but I think as long as u own the game the roms are legal but downloading them is... I don't emulated anything newer than 10 years so I will not emulator switch.... I also do a lot of fan translated and fan made games.... I am glad you ur back

if you find the last app images for yuzu you can copy them into userdata/system/switch run the switch updater and yuzu will appear alongside ryujinx

hey man, I love your videos-- super informative. I'm building my batocera machine on a beelink ser7 mini PC and it's been great overall with only some issues here and there I'm still troubleshooting. One of the issues is the Kodi Media Center. It seems to essentially crash my pc whenever I click on it. Do you know why that might be and/or how to fix it? Also a video on using the Kodi Media Center as a home media server would be super helpful. Most existing kodi videos seem to be pretty old.

I had the same problem the guys are complain about. Big picture opens e closes right after. Uninstalled and then installed again and it works. Linux guys, this shit was made to not work at all

Just as a heads up: Piping curl to bash is a VERY insecure thing to do, especially as root. Make absolutely sure you trust the other end, and even then check what curl is spitting out first. Bash is the program you're typing into to run commands. You are telling bash to grab the text output of a website, then whatever text gets spat out, run that in another instance of bash You are basically giving a website permission to do literally anything to your batocera box, including install malware.

I was subscribed to Batocera Nation, but their channel hasn't been very active as of late due to personal life issues. Just as well there are substitute channels like this one!
