Wait what’s the difference in combat between L M S shields in combat. I understand that the smaller shield has less HP but aren’t your swing animations faster? This video made it seem like there is no disadvantage to a Guardian using a L shield vs a small shield? Sorry if I missed it I waltched the whole video hoping to understand and still don’t.

Wish there was a game that translates real swordfighting to gameplay, half of the “mechanics” in this game make no sense as a fencer……

I need to use the jab way more after watching this. Don't think it's very user friendly on console controller tho.

The stamina thing is KIND of overrated considering you can just pick your weapon back up again, or use 2ndary, get some clever foot work in there, maybe special attack- unarmed to stop their attack, pick up you weapon, or duck their swing, then you are back in business again.

Do they call it a claymore in this game too? Looks like the claymore from fromsoft games.

I'm only Rank 78/79 , & I'm surprised how many duels I win against higher level opponents because they don't understand the initiative rule or just poorly perform moves. Or don't adapt in fight. Like always keeping a side open when attacking , & never changing swipe/attack directions. Or poorly timing kicks.. Or attacks in general.
