I’m going to tell you something that will turn this build into an unstoppable force. If you ever find a chicken roaming around the map, pick it up. Next find a brazier or source of fire and set the chicken alight. Now you have a permanent flaming chicken attached to your jab that sets enemies ablaze with each hit! Do with this info what you will
This is genuinely inspiring gameplay dude! That 1v2 duel in between those houses was like a scene from an action movie haha. Motivates me to get good at this game
Inspired me to play ambusher double sticks for an entire session. I didn't flex as hard as you did but I finished top third. I'm used to leaning hard on the war horn to finish top 3 but it's fine. Been sleeping on the dagger and gank playstyle! I noticed many people underestimated how fast I can attack against their 2h slash spam.
@@StripedSweater If you want a new dagger skin, here are some options to look up on google images: Bollock dagger, Jambiya (if playing Teunosian invasion), the sword breaker (technically a knife), and the Suontaka blade.
That double parry at 4:06 was a thing of beauty. Im a Xbox player with 40+hours in the game myself and am just starting to be able to get those finally.
@@dominatus8440 I know, but you dont always get the luxury of hitting from behind. Range is a problem too, it doesn't cleave, maul does with heavy attacks.
@@Vlad_-_-_ I main Dagger/Katar Ambusher and MAA Rapier. In my personal experience I've found that the cannon fodder that play this game tend to only counter slash spam so by dashing opposite of the direction of the slash that opens up their back up for a 75 damage stab. Truth be told, that happens more often than one would expect, weaving jabs and kicks into your repertoire usually discombobulates the absolute hell out people. I also like to challenge people with big weapons that like to drag when they slash and dash afterwards because typically when you counter them they get stunned and the action of dashing gets nullified and they just jump in place opening them up for a heavy stab or a special stab
I just figured out that the dagger and knife are two of my favorite weapons to use and of course a Masons head 😂 But with the dagger or knife i can take on like 3 enemies at once and carve em up good. I feel like i'm dancing like Syrio Forel from Game of Thrones lol
If you're brand new and still learning, I would recommend third person. The extra vision you get will help with your situational awareness while fighting. First person is a bit more challenging cause you dont have that extra view on the things happening to your sides or back and therefore can get you killed more easily. Obviously its also a preference thing, so you do what's best for you!
If an enemy has a slower weapon always wait for there swing animation to start then slash with the dagger you will almost always hit first and can basically keep them stun locked until theh die 😂
The dagger is way better than the katars, i thought it would be a shitty weapon but the damage is decent (better than katars), speed is good, i can actually hit things with it, and it can actually interrupt attacks, plus the special attack is nasty and dope af (and also for some reason does more damage than the katars, even a charged backstab does more total damage than a backstab special with the katars, not to mention you can use your knives while using the knife, its becoming one of my new fav ways to play ambusher
Usually, jab can be used right after you get hit to retake the initiative in a fight. But you can use it on the offensive! Works well when you're face hugging the enemy and you see them start their swing animation (more effective when they have a relatively slow weapon).
@StripedSweater Thanks for the response. I've been playing in third person, but every youtuber plays in 1st person... my friends are telling me it's terrible to play 3rd person. I'm just seeing if I really need to swap, but I definitely won't if 3rd person is better or even the same as 1st person :)
@@echophoFrom my experience 3rd person is amazing for big weapons where you just spam heavy attacks to mow down everyone in sight and 1vX situations. On the other hand 1st person is good for shorter weapons due to them being well.. short, precise hits like stabs (cant count how many stabs I missed due to 3rd person) and 1v1s where you just focus on the enemy infront of you. If I had to pick one tho it would certainly be 3rd person though. Coming from a level 250
Dunno why i always miss terrible and cant aim stabs like you. Im not a newbie i played Chivalry 1, but landing stabs with a dagger is very difficult to me. Maybe i need special settings configuration...
If you havent already, try 1st person to practice woth stabs and overhead accuracy! When I first started playing Chiv 2, even with Chiv 1 and Mordhau experience, I found myself wiffing lots of stabs too. Takes a bit of practice but youll learn it! Definitely try some different sensitivity settings too.

oh no..
I did not believe you UNTIL i saw the video
can do this with hotgods as well (hotgods cuz its based)
That’s fowl play
You can also do this with a fish

all while reading chat, impressive
Yeah that really stood out to met too, amazing gameplay.
Fight at 2:15 had me laughing. Guy with the axe wanted in so badly, but just kept getting jabbed.
Finally had the dagger unlocked and it was exactly what I wanted the class to be. Always use the rogue classes in games. Fire to do on a battlefield.

They are surprisingly efficient and quick. Plus the you can use the throwing knives to cover for their lack of range!

A fellow OG 💙

6:30 is me lolll
Top tier gameplay you're a freaking beast!
the dagger is good on ambusher, but i like the short sword most. the longer range helps to get multikills while flanking.
I love weaving in and out of fights with the dagger and hitting people in the back
...The ambusher class would suit me well.
Yess, 20min video. Now im satisfied. Thank you, well played,.
GODLIKE!!!!!!!!
What a monster. I can only imagine what you do with lobbies when playing META weapons.
Dagger does Maul level damage if it's a hit from behind.

dagger for the winn
2:30 - CLEANNNNNNNNN
Why use the dagger instead of the grudgel or whatever that war club thing is called?
Dang that's crazy. The ppl I play against do this annoying thing called blocking
Yeah...I spent a lot of money paying off the enemy team 😉

2:37 how did you get past the block and kill him? My enemies would just block that attack from me???
man I wish chiv2 had a firstperson lock gametype
mate you are insane. I am quiet new to the game playing on the series x. Would you recommened learning playing in first person?

Going around stabbing people with tooth picks doing it in style as usual great video enjoyed it very much entertaining and action packed ❤
You are a monster bro
"he was once an associate of ours"
how do u play this game without spamming random vo every time your running
LET'S GO

@Meryle25 Yes, jab will flinch the enemy. Kick won't.

I’m new to the game because of ps plus, what ambusher load out do you recommend?
Damn 2:26 subscribe deserved
You are class player, almost as good as Stridah Angel 😇
he looks better than stridah in this video for sure
Not for casual players, not when this is who you're up against!
What is this class? Where can i find dagger?
Brutal, savage, rekt
The council needs key binding setting. I never make a game this good before, but it doesn't seem that hard if PC already has it.
Torphin?
Is first person advantageous over third person or is it for the aesthetic?
@echopho Generally, 3rd person is better. Being able to see all around you gives you more situational awareness. But I still like playing in 1st!

What is the secret to getting consistent counters?
Go to 1v1’s to and try to purely counter every move

For some reason i find katars impossible to hit with but when i use a dagger i can hit 80% of the time
Players that are good with the ambusher class are so annoying to fight😂
I play this game one month and now i see u can take stamina back if you hit someone... Im sooooo nood😂😂😂😂
