Good vid. Same thing is happening down in New Bedford. Special interest are buying up the homes in anticipation of the train coming and off shore wind appears to be taking over the fish industry along with regulation. If New Bedford loses its fishing industry the whole city will be in trouble.

Awesome video man, I don't know much about Gloucester other than the fishing really, as kids we took some trips up to the quarrys in Rockport but honestly never really went to Gloucester.

I was raised in South Boston during the 70-80's.. I was bused to Eastie in the late 70's because of Forced Busing. Gennaro Angiulo ran the family at that time and his headquarters was Spagnuolo's Restaurant on Hanover Street in The North End. Stephen Flemmi, Hitman Martorano and Frank Salemme worked for James Bulger who ran The Winter Hill gang out of South Boston. I miss Southie. South Boston like East Boston were great places to grow up and I am glad I did. My father and mother are South Boston born and raised as I am. Those days are gone and I miss them. I grew up with Kevin Weeks who became Jimmy Bulger's right hand man. I never knew the Eastie mob, but I had a lot of Italian friends I hung out with in East Boston. I was the only Irish kid from Southie who was protected. Those days are gone, but we all have warm memories about time past. Happy New Year! GOD Bless America! Trump 2025
