7:47 Dude, you nailed the whole video with what you just said! The majority of these drug rehab facilities in Massachusetts have staff that suck, and it's just a paycheck.. then you find that one sweet lady who actually talks with you and puts valid efforts into your recovery! 🔨 nailed it
That one little discussion knowing someone cares when you’re thinking about leaving can make you stay.. I’ve experienced it. Some of those people have a heart of gold💯💯

Thanks David I appreciate that!! I wasn’t sure if you’d be interested in a video like this or not but I appreciate you watching and commenting have a great day bro 💯💯
Baldpate is where I got clean. The facility was good, old but good. Food was good and the staff was really good. I went there as a last resort I won't get into specifics but I was good at hiding my addiction after everyone thought I was clean for years. I went in cold turkey detox only libruim and clonidine it was rough but this one counselor there said something to me that stuck. This little old lady I can't remember her name but as sick as I was I listened to her magic words. "YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO THIS ONCE" and she was right I left there went to the Sally in Saugus and been clean for 12 years and have absolutely no desire to go back to that life. People if you want to do it you can but you really have to want it and don't think about the next day. I'll stop preaching 😊
Nah bro preach on!!! Speaking facts.. was her name Barbara?? Congratulations man 12 years is incredible.. I wish I only did it once and stayed clean unfortunately not my path. Appreciate the comment God bless🙏💯
@jasontrimmins8264 I'd be lying if I said ya that's her name, but I think somehow she was related to someone who originally owned the property. I wish it was only once for me too it wasn't for a lack of trying though. Just that one last time and hearing those words I never really thought of it like that cause I was always worried about how am I gonna live without drugs instead of living for each day, ya do I think about the future sure but I ain't worried no more cause I realized I'm not in control. 😇
Love it man! Just subbed recently watching your Boston crime vids, thank you for still having content for those not fast enough to catch the 1st video. Thanks for taking all your personal time to inform and entertain us!
Yo Kinga!!! Good to see you bro appreciate the comment and you checking out my video much appreciated brother. Hope you the wife and family are good God bless 🙏💯
Hahaha I went to high point Brockton. Shit was wild. Ppl getting bags thrown in thru certain ways but it was ok. Never been to Plymouth. Mind you this was like 08-09 when I was there. Been clean since Dec 5, 2011. 💪🏻
Yeah I can only imagine what the one in Brockton was like. There was actually mad kids there from Brockton and Fall River those were the two big groups there
@@jasontrimmins8264 yeah it was a shit show if I recall. Me and one other girl from Medford were there and she got her clothes stolen, poor kid. It was so long ago tho, those were my pre- BHOC days
Bro too familiar with this process and people going through it.. Appreciate the honesty and transparency.. you ever need someone to help you stay clean I'm down to talk. Local too 🤙🏻
NORCAP in Foxboro way back in the day (2005-10) was kinda rough. MASAC in Plymouth(?) ... _horror show!_ Gosnold in Falmouth was okay years ago. Yeah, South Shore boy over here. Love your videos man, glad you're okay, shame you had to scrub yesterday's vid. LoL "If I had $2K I wouldn't be callin' ya!"😆👍
🤣🤣 right that blew my mind!!! I’ve never been to Gosnold but my ext was from Falmouth and her mom always talked about that place. Thanks bro appreciate the comment 🙏💯
@@jasontrimmins8264 Forgot to add that MASAC (aka "Massey") is not a typical rehab like the others you listed. It's reserved for state-mandated rehab cases; mostly for Section 35. What makes it extra creepy is that it's in the middle of Miles Standish State Forest - nothing but thick woods for miles in every direction - and a wide no trespass perimeter, with a police presence to boot. It's like a mini prison. Thankfully I've never been in there myself. Anyways...love the content. Have a good one!
Nicely done bruh. Unfortunately I know all about several places on here. One thing that you didn't mention though is smoke breaks. Last time I was at CHL in Worcester there were no smoke breaks!!! Out at High Point in Brockton we had like 12 "fresh air" breaks a day. Like yourself I been in n out of programs. My last rodeo was 2020. To be honest the place that I really worked hard and actually learned what recovery is, was Channing House up the street from Adcare in Worcester. That place saved my effing life bro.
That’s funny honestly since I quit in 2017 I’m literally the only person at detox who doesn’t smoke 🤣🤣 I still go out to get fresh air and some sun but it’s such a point of contention in those place people freak about the smoke breaks!!! I’m so happy you figured it out bro !! It must’ve been your time 🙏🙏🙏
😂 first time seeing something on this topic. Back in my days the worst stop was Boston Cab imo. The shattuck was a great stop as the Andrew House. Dimick was mixed girls and boys which was always funny to see the detox love stories and people dipping out because there 180 in food stamps hit only to be back 3 days later. Imo House of Phoenix in quincy sucked. Danvers cab was ok because i was with a great crew. Fuck man glad to be clean now. What a shit life. Hopefully anyone who is still struggling get the help they need. You got to want it otherwise it will never happen. God bless you stay safe brotha.
The detox romances are hilarious see them holding hands when a week before she was probably turning tricks my word🤣 never went to the Phoenix but heard the same thing sucked !! Great comment always appreciate you weighing in my man, good message at the end as well💯💯🙏
Thanks for this video!! I went to SSTAR in Fall River (You KNOOOWWW!!) and even though the building was kinda shitty and the food was mid, the staff were decent and I got some good out of the program. I was a little nervous getting to know people since I was from the South Shore and knew nobody down there and everyone kinda already knew each other from past programs/jail. It was okay though, I made friends. Then I went to the High Point in Brockton for TSS and it sucked ass. I was in The Castle building. If you been, you know what I'm talking about! They don't even have TSS in that building anymore, I think. It was falling apart when I was there 3 and a half years ago. I lucked out with a good group of people though, and that can get you through the worst of it
Absolutely the crowd around makes a huge difference .. with positive energy it’s so much easier to get thru tough times like that 💯💯 thanks for the comment brother 🙏🙏
@@jasontrimmins8264 Thanks man! The crowd really can make or break a program for you, honestly. I went to rehab in very late 2020/early 2021 so it was smack dab in the middle of COVID. I wouldn't have made it a week if I didn't have positive people around me to get me through it. Keep up the good work, brother! Congrats on your sobriety! We made it!
DIMMOK DETOX! As soon as you said "the worst" that immediately came to mind. I've been to detox hundreds of times and that was by far the most awful experience ever. Graffiti on the walls, food was 2nds from Pine Street and the Island, zero help for aftercare, I had shit stolen and I was sick the whole time, bad. Never forget that place. Danvers Cab banned me for taking a plastic spoon from the cafe. Boston Cab is a close 2nd, but the staffs better. Somerville detox was like my 2nd home (sadly). Super clean, food was good, meds kept you comfortable but not sedated, a lot of the groups were actually interesting, because the people running them were actually addicts, and the staff was amazing, everyone who stayed got placement. But of course they closed that down. And the Sallys a slave labor camp...seriously, .no joke, its obviously better than the can but as far as organizations go thats one of the biggest rackets going. I graduated EBR twice, great spot. Keep up the greatvids, I usually don't comment on vids, nevermind ones this long but nobody does vids with this content. 2 thumbs up
Good luck, brother I work strictly work with first responders in RECOVERY Right a lot of these places are just money driven. Some of these reps are just scumbags. Tito is absolutely an angel one of the best around Keep up the good work, my friend we have to talk
nice video. Crazy story SStar in Fall River i was in DDU. well i gave birth to my son in the girl’s room. absolute fact. it was Feb 23 2007. crazy. they really helped me
@@timc4765 it was actually the best thing that could of happened to me actually … surprisingly…. i am now sure that pregnant people are getting a higher level of care he was early and i kept going up to the nurses station complaining of back pain. he said it was like false labor and to go do these stretches. i did and about an hour later i had to use restroom and my son just started coming …. i yelled for nurse she yelled out for someone to get gloves and a towel … he was born before she even got them. The EMT Came and had to cut the cord with a razor as i write this i am blown away about how fucking crazy this is!!! So my beautiful son was born and we both went to Charlton hospital in Fall River. He was born at 11:07 pm. he weighed 4.1lbs and was 17 inch long. Now mind you i used during pregnancy… i was actually pregnant and homeless in new beige … i have a lot of guilt and shame At 7:30am the next morning the doctor came in to tell me that my son had 3 bleeds in the brain and had to go to Boston. This is Feb 2007. They came from tufts and took my boy. i went back to a locked unit. When i got back the patients got together with Staff and had a big baby shower cake with letters for me and my baby it was super nice. One guy told me that he will never forget this that it gave him so much hope … All the girls were in the restroom as i gave birth and all the guys waited at door in hallway (DDU) The guys carried me out in the wheel chair after they took out my son. It is really mind blowing. SStar was a very strict place. Very old too. They were so good to me. i got to use office phones 3x a day to call Tufts (normally it’s 1 call every other day). the biggest deal is when another person was going to a sober house north of boston and they let me go and dropped me at Tufts so i could spend time with my baby. That baby who was thought that he would die shortly is graduating high school this year. I ended up at Emerson House in Falmouth a part of Gosnold…. I felt so out of place … i was a charity case not a self pay …. All of it saved my life. i can’t believe someone like me got this blessed. well there’s a crazy detox story for you !!! much love man
This has nothing to do with anything much, but it crossed my mind. My nephew has been in a bunch of rehabs - my brother has good insurance. He did his 28 days or whatever and instead of the insurance company paying the bill they sent my nephew a check for 30 thousand dollars. You know what happened next. He’s now a few years clean. He’s a great kid. But that check was just too much temptation at the time. Yes, I’m still here Jason. Keep up the good work.
Hey brother good to see you!!! One of my original favorite viewers 💯💯 I’ve heard of that happening I actually watched a documentary where a mother was trying to sue the insurance company because they did that to her son and he died of an OD. I can’t believe any company would do that. In your nephews defense almost every addict would have done the same thing .. thanks again my man appreciate the comment good to hear from you 🙏🙏
Only thing bout the hope house is it’s in the middle of all the bullshit! I work in harm reduction for a drop in center on the ave. Soooooo many Dudes from the hope house end up in my office looking to get into another detox cuz they relapsed. Program itself I have no clue about. The location sucks balls imo!
@@Mass_bigbaits yeah your right. But for me it keeps the worst life possible right into my face and I'd never want to go back to it... But for those who can't deal with it your right
RCA in Danvers is where I got clean for the last time. The rooms are clean and they had 5 group meetings a day with nightly commitments from outside groups. The food was OK but had nothing on the units for snacks other than PB&J. Each unit had a couple of case managers and a couple of therapists. In the end it really didn't matter the place I had to make the decision for myself and my family. I pray for ant addict out there still struggling and hope they find help and peace.
I agree 💯 if you want to do it you’ll get clean anywhere. Obviously it’s nice to do it somewhere comfortable but that definitely doesn’t guarantee success. When you’re ready you’re ready 💯 congratulations on your recovery 🙏
Tewky world used to be the spot...still sour they went over the walls downstairs since making changes tho 😡 It's been about a decade since I've gone to any of these places, but it certainly brings back memories 💯 Life is a wild ride!!!
Gosnolds good too one of my personal spots & Pretty much anywhere you go it's what you make of it if you want it you'll make it .You can ALWAYS go back it's just harder to GET BACK.
Got a pretty good story about spectrum 1st time I was there I waiting for 6 hrs sick as a mf before getting intake. Next time I was actually at catholic charities in Brocton worst place ever so I left AMA called my girl she loaded me up and cut a hole In the zipper just enough to slide in a pin, gave my clothes to a family member to take me from Brockton to Spectrum I'm like stop at dunks I gotta get changed, and yup I wasn't sitting sick waiting again. I been clean for 12 years now after 20 years of using
Real shit right here. I've detox twice. I am blessed to have home then. It was preferable to lay down for two weeks. Opposed to living $20.00 at a time.
I honestly never heard of that place but there was RES I think in Roxbury. Guy was letting people get high if they traded sexual favors and he was illegally filming people in the house, big time critter
@@jasontrimmins8264Dave Perry’s big bed!!!!!! Place was fucking wild!!! Dude was such a scumbag! Lots of good dudes dead now cuz they couldn’t look at themselves anymore after being taken advantage of from that skinna!
@@jasontrimmins8264 mattapan transitions was (or still is, not sure if it's still around) a "transitional holding" mostly for parolees. However they would take guys and gals directly from detoxes and homeless shelters. When I was there it was about 60% parolees, and 40% detox champions. The whole place was loaded with mice. They put the younger guys all together on the 3rd floor (not a good idea) and fed each group by floor. They would run out of food by the time we got to eat. So we usually just got plain white rice. There was one payphone and the black dudes controlled that and the one TV. Everybody was separated by demographics. Blacks with the blacks, Latinos, and whites. Then the white kids were further separated by where u were from, I ended up with a group of Quincy kids (though I'm from suburban North shore). Women were on the first floor. Drugs would get delivered to the back of the building and dudes would climb out the windows to get em. One of the "councilors" was sleeping with two of the "patients". I ate a lot of trash bags jail mix (ramen, cheese wiz, and slim Jim). My folks would deliver food and smokes to me and I was able to trade for whatever I needed. Thank God I was only there a couple months and got accepted into the Gavin House two days before Christmas 2010. Been sober ever since. God is good, sobah's bettah! Great channel, love your videos.
The new spectrum in westborough is good. 2 man rooms. Internet and TV in rhe rooms. Just left Plymouth high point, good place, co-ed, great staff. Worst place imo. Was star in fall river, most staff was cool, except that one lady in the CSS, the energy was gone, coming from the detox, felt miserable there. Just threw away 11 months over the summer. Now I'm 2 months again with a new perspective. God is Great.
I was in Brockton High Point last year two times. I’m clean now though. I liked my detox. The workers were so good but when I went next-door after my first week in detox, those workers are toxic. I threatened him and got kicked out, and the lady didn’t even believe my side of the story. I told her I didn’t. I had problems with the guy because I was taking a shit and he kept banging on the door looking through the stall. He still worked there. You would expect a rehab facility to be more professional like hospital hospitals, and doctor office but they’re nothing alike.
I agree with you 100% sometimes one toxic staff member will ruin your whole recovery process and usually they side with each other not always but usually.
I got Sectioned to MASAC. Mind you I had committed no crime besides drinking myself to death. They gave me a full on withdrawal seizure due to giving almost no meds during clinical DT's. Oh and they shackle you hand and foot as your seizing out on the floor. Almost died as a result of this horrible terrible place. Finally got sober on my own for 3 years now but that place made everything so much worse at the time
Man what a nightmare 💯💯 I’m so grateful no one ever sectioned me !! I tried to explain to them that’s what it’s really like in there💯💯 glad you’re sober bro 🙏🙏
That building used to be a minimum security prison. When they switched it over to the detox they initially took down all the fences. They had a bunch of mass escapes the 1st 2 weeks, with manhunts, dogs, helicopters, ect.........then they put the fences back up.....lol
@brianmaceachern9837 the thing is, they lock you up but no actual crime has been committed. I was just really drunk at all times in my own home. That place is nothing but an Unconstitutional punishment jail for alchohalics and addicts. I would doubt if it's ever truly helped a single inmate in there. I saw an attempted suicide, multiple brutal fights, and too many seizures to count, including my own
I had the same experience. I almost didn’t make it out of there. They treated you like a prisoner. Everyone had to go cold turkey, dudes couldn’t even smoke. It was disgusting. It only made people want to get fucked up.
Good video man👍… Dude, I honestly think that if good, quality places were more readily available and accessible for people who don’t have anyone to advocate for them or have insurance, along with no money and/ or homeless, that more people would want to get clean or at least try to if they knew the quality of care was there and they felt like they weren’t just going to be placed somewhere and left to sweat it out .. Or not right away anyways, and maybe ease into it to reduce the harsh affects of withdrawal.. Maybe give them a day to mentally get in the game… I also think that mental health care during that time should be a high priority as after successfully moving on after rehab… I have no idea how any of that works and I’ve never been into any drugs, or even alcohol… Just kinda mulling things over after watching this video… I see a lot of people on the street and I dive right through Mass & Cass pretty frequently, and it’s just horrible dude.. The city just moves them and tries to hide them instead of doing something…. The lack of response is astounding…
For someone who’s not involved in the field you are spot on!!💯 pretty much everything you just said is correct. Unfortunately I don’t have an answer I have no idea what our leaders are doing about it besides just trying to sweep it under the rug like you said 🤷🏻 it’s shameful really
Most memorable 30 days I ever spent in detox was at Tarzana in the San Fernando Valley just North of LA. Rotating Co-Ed (xxx in laundry room) one big room for all the men, prison politics+ it gets active (kid got his neck poked up with plastic fork)🤣
Salvation army in saugus sucked, Bayridge in Lynn sucked (was there the most, way too many times) BRIDGEWATER SUCKED the worst, judge sectioned me there for 30 days, BMC detox sucked, Adcare in JP and Quincy sucked too lol Baldpate in Georgetown was sweet. I may have missed a few. Edit Danvers cab def sucked too. I was in there when hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans n shit Keep up the good work my man!
I was at Baldpate in 1997. I was told Jackie Gleason used to go there and the Piano, i dont know if it was still there was donated by him. I remember the room the gentleman lived in. I was told his family was the wang family of Boston. I never met him so i dont know why i remember that story. In Florida went to Atlantic shores, Fort Lauderdale Hospital and the big program in Coral Springs that Broward County ran. I was in Broward from 1999 to 2007.
I heard the same thing the med nurse told me 20 years ago 😩. They mentioned a bunch of other celebrities too but I only remember Jackie Gleason I believe he was staying at the b and b tho.loved Neil such a (chain smoking) flirt lol, my brother went to Baldpate 10 years b4 me and they would sneak out and party in the woods (80’s)
bro, I used to work at the needle exchange there in Gloucester. like I used to know Tito who u mentioned. This is a crazy small world. (my favorite place I went in MA was either Gavin House in Quincy or Ryan House in Lynn-- I didn't mind Spectrum but I was on a co-ed floor so who knows how they're different- this was like 6 years ago). I will say, I didn't hate it at the time because they did the highest dose at the time back maybe 12 years ago? but Andrew House on Long Island was easily the sketchiest spot I've ever been in any state I've ever gone to treatment and it was my first. Helped me get cool with whatever places I ended up.
Also Sally in saugus is a dope place I met some friends there that I'll have for the rest of my life it was like reliving high-school all over again ... but like you said if you're not ready don't even bother they have an extremely low graduation rate
Yeah maybe 1 out 10 that start the program actually graduate. I know I had some of my best belly laughs there. Had some good guys with me too. Appreciate the comment God blesd🙏💯
@@jasontrimmins8264 lol is north cottage no good anymore? I knew a few guys who got sober there and there was always a long waitlist to get in. Im very far removed from all that stuff now.
Been sober over 10 years now but i used to go to spectrum every 2 weeks that was the only place i would go i went to tss did 6 months in the residential program i used to loce it there i felt more comfortable there than out running as sick as that was glad to say thats in the past
I met these kids from Southie who used High point in Plymouth as a vacation from the streets for the winter.. Instead of the shelters or the powerlines they would get into a program! This was back in the early 2000's
I been clean since 2009. I used to go to Spectrum Westboro all the time. Danvers CAB a bunch. Tewksbury TSS, Lynn TSS. I used to get comfortable at even the shittiest programs. My best stay was at Shattuck stabilization. It all depended on the crew ubhad in there with u.
#CUJOCOOLETTE NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO IF YOU WANT IT BAD ENOUGH YOU WILL MAKE IT WORK. ITS THAT SIMPLE.. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE FOOD OR THE STAFF, YOU FORGOT WHY YOU WENT THEY'RE!! YOU GOTTA KEEP THE FOCUS ON YOU AND MAKE YOUR AFTERCARE PLAN ACCORDINGLY, I RECOMMEND YOU GO TO A FOREIGN PLACE AND START FRESH. NAND HANG WITH THE DRAMA FREE PEOPLE WHO AREN'T NEGATIVE ABOUT EVERYTHING. JUST MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND DAY BY DAY IT WILL START TO WORK AND LIFE WILL START TO GET BETTER AND LIFE WILL BECOME MORE FULFILLING! GOOD LUCK FROM JEREMY Le Blanc from Lynn Massachusetts
The process and nashu New Hampshire was pretty cool. It was an IOP. Went there for like 60 days, a lot of freedom (could be good or bad) you could do your thing but you had to piss every other day so you couldn’t fuck around but overall a real solid place.
I have a tough time in place like that. I’ll end up using and trying to beat the urines crappy way to live.. we used to have a good IOP in Gloucester the Discover program but it closed during Covid
That's weird how we abide by structure in some of these places. I did 11 years in prison and I did pretty well in there. I got released with a job,an apartment, and 12k on my books from concord farm. Charles river recovery is a good spot, slaine is the ceo there, wicked good guy, got me a bed the day I talked to him.
I knew he worked in the recovery field but I couldn’t remember where. That’s awesome man 💯💯 I know some people hate structure and discipline but others thrive on it
I got 4 years clean and sober my last rehab was serenity in Haverhill mass really nice medicated the shit out of me during detoxs so my withdrawals weren’t that bad but I heard horror stories of other places the only other place I’ve been to is Hampstead hospital and Lowell hospital
Yeah my friend Freddy who passed away worked at that place in Haverhill and I went over there for a commitment it’s so nice like a hotel. Don’t the rooms say suite next to the room #? My boy Brian said they loaded him up with benzos and subutex didn’t even remember being there🤣🤣 congrats on 4 years bro 💯💯
30-day program called from 12/07-1/08 M.A.S.A.C. (Massachusetts alcohol/substance abuse center) it was part of Bridgewater and was hell...I had a fever of 106.2 with pneumonia and I wasn't shipped out because it was a weekend. Ask me why they put infirmary right across from solitary... So while I'm trying to get better than people banging on the doors and screaming. Also there were fights every day. I think it's closed down if I'm not mistaken.?🤔
@@jasontrimmins8264 On the other end the best treatment center I've been to was Norcap lounge in Foxborough, have you heard of it.? You could smoke cigarettes and they had the best food at any detox/ treatment I ever been to. They had an activity room with all kinds of board games and a pool table too. The staff was great and supportive too.. It's sad that norcap doesn't exist anymore. I think they closed in 2018 if I'm not mistaken.
God Bless ya JT!!!!!! You’re a good fuckin dude with a heart the size of Texas. Westboro Spectrum was the first detox I went to after 27 yrs straight of Oxys dope fenty Benzos booze coke etc and I lasted 52 minutes. Thank Christ I lied to them and told them I got dropped off. I parked my truck around the corner from the Admin Bldg so dipping outta there was NP. Within 5 mins of me leaving and driving out to 495 my phone rings, it’s the Sober Broker or whatever they’re called cuz I know for a fact they get commission for every body they get into a detox facility and he’s asking me what’s up. Short story long I ended up going to Liberty up in Portland, Me four days later. And I’m now 7.5 months clean after the 1 and hopefully only relapse I had two months after my initial detox. Alright bro, my fault for babbling on. Keep up the good shit you’re pumping out
God bless ya Marco I’m glad you’re still hanging in there bro!! I’m proud of you makes my day every time I read one of your comments and your still at it 🙏💯💯
Boston CAB was a shithole… went there once and I was so sick I left ama after 30 hours and went to Plymouth instead. Plymouth was wildly different from Boston so much cleaner better facilities etc.
Your doing a great job, fuck those clowns , the computer gangstas! Talking shit about your channel! I love your channel think you’re doing a great job. Brockton baby!
I ate better in jail than I did in Spectrum detox. Same goes for Tewksbury. Detox facilities are basically horrible in Massachusetts, but not all the fault is their own. The medication protocols are left lacking considerably, especially opiate detox. More people leave AMA than complete. If you’re going to be sick as a dog climbing the walls, you can do that at home with no rules. You’d think with detox being the front lines of recovery, and the first stop, they would be better tuned into the needs of the addict, instead of the shareholder. But like I said, regulations regarding dosing of medications can’t be blamed on the facility. But filthy, understaffed, conditions with food I wouldn’t feed to a hog I didn’t like, is not excusable. As long as it’s recovery for profit, young people are going to continue to die in droves. Yea….Sallys was a no go for me. 😂😂😂 There are better long term treatment centers, if you’re willing to wait. I’m 9yrs sober this month. Special thanks to North Cottage!
i used to work at Baldpate. The last couple years i was there they really let up on all the rules. Some of the most ridiculous shit I've ever seen would happen like at shaving time without warning girls would flash their pussy and say "now do I get 10 more minutes to shave my legs?" what am I going to do? tell on her to the pussy police? just got to let some things slide lmao oh and RIP Neal and his infamous catchphrase "okay buddy"
“AA work for you? Ok buddy “ RIP Neal🤣🤣 yeah man I’ve been there and it’s absolute chaos. I was the New Year’s Eve 2010 or 11 there was so much Xanax and people bringing their own subs and there was like a legit orgy going on in one room I was like where the F am I right now 🤣🤣

Well said

This is an awesome video. Many people struggle or know someone who is, but have no idea where to turn.
That’s was my intention man glad it came across that way.. there’s a lot of services out there people aren’t even aware of
Good Vid Brother! I went to Spectrum Westborogh lol the way you described it all honestly spot on!

I detoxed from heroin at the Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain back in 87 and they were great. The food was great and I gained 20 pounds.
It seems like back in the 80s and 90s when the system wasn’t so bogged down people got much better care💯💯 thanks for the comment 🙏

Thanks brother I appreciate that 🙏🙏 try to be as honest and transparent as possible 💯 have a great weekend !!
My man back again with another one keep going bro frfr 💯
Yo how are you broski?? Hangin in there?? Good to see you in the comments hope life is treating you good🙏🙏💯
Nicely done bruh.
It must’ve been your time 🙏🙏🙏
You should’ve saw the old Danvers, detox
Oh I’ve heard about it from old timers believe me I’m glad I never physically saw that firsthand 💯💯
Great comment always appreciate you weighing in my man, good message at the end as well💯💯🙏
I went to high point at my low point these places really help
Good play on words 💯 they absolutely do help when I’m really on a run I can’t physically stop unless I go somewhere
I have 10 years sober
That’s awesome bro 🔥🔥 congratulations 🙏🙏 blessed
Congratulations! 10 years is a long time. Especially if like me, I couldn’t stay sober for one day. I’m 9 years sober this month. One day at a time.
Great comment you’re absolutely right the crowd and environment you’re in makes a huge difference 🙏💯
We made it!
@@sirlink9611 i was there. they were good to me
DIMMOK DETOX! 2 thumbs up
Thanks brother that means a lot truly!! I thought id heard of every place but I’ve never heard of the Somerville hospital before .
I'm clean 6 months and I'm at the Chelsea house!
You’re a miracle brother !!! Keep doing whatever you’re doing it’s working my man very proud of you 🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏
Highpoint in brockton is like a bed and breakfast once you get through the detox! They have a chef that makes good food and desserts!
The detox sucks though?
I've heard nothing but negative things about high point Brockton.
@@jasontrimmins8264 lol i mean any detox sucks!

2 yrs ago i had a job called wheels of hope based out of Lowell i brought people everyday to everyone of these places. Got a flat tire at Baldpate.
Damn!! Out in the middle of nowhere to boot!!
nice video. Crazy story SStar in Fall River i was in DDU. well i gave birth to my son in the girl’s room. absolute fact. it was Feb 23 2007. crazy. they really helped me
Wow that's horrible, poor kid
🙏🙏
@@timc4765 it was actually the best thing that could of happened to me actually … surprisingly…. i am now sure that pregnant people are getting a higher level of care
he was early and i kept going up to the nurses station complaining of back pain. he said it was like false labor and to go do these stretches. i did and about an hour later i had to use restroom and my son just started coming …. i yelled for nurse she yelled out for someone to get gloves and a towel … he was born before she even got them. The EMT Came and had to cut the cord with a razor
as i write this i am blown away about how fucking crazy this is!!!
So my beautiful son was born and we both went to Charlton hospital in Fall River. He was born at 11:07 pm. he weighed 4.1lbs and was 17 inch long.
Now mind you i used during pregnancy… i was actually pregnant and homeless in new beige … i have a lot of guilt and shame
At 7:30am the next morning the doctor came in to tell me that my son had 3 bleeds in the brain and had to go to Boston. This is Feb 2007. They came from tufts and took my boy. i went back to a locked unit.
When i got back the patients got together with Staff and had a big baby shower cake with letters for me and my baby it was super nice.
One guy told me that he will never forget this that it gave him so much hope …
All the girls were in the restroom as i gave birth and all the guys waited at door in hallway (DDU) The guys carried me out in the wheel chair after they took out my son.
All of it saved my life. i can’t believe someone like me got this blessed.
well there’s a crazy detox story for you !!!
much love man
🙏🙏🙏💯💯

Tewky world used to be the spot...still sour they went over the walls downstairs since making changes tho 😡

Have never been to Spectrum but knew it would be in the mix from what I've heard in the halls. 😄 🤣
It’s a legendary place absolutely 💯💯

You could do a whole video on Mattapan Transitions. That place was absolutely wild back in the day
I honestly never heard of that place but there was RES I think in Roxbury. Guy was letting people get high if they traded sexual favors and he was illegally filming people in the house, big time critter
@@jasontrimmins8264Yup. Dave Perry. He got indicted.

Damn ok I forgot his name I was in a sober house with a kid who was there. That’s crazy I should do a video about him
@@jasontrimmins8264 mattapan transitions was (or still is, not sure if it's still around) a "transitional holding" mostly for parolees.
Danvers detox legend has it that movie aramgedon is still stuck in the dvd player

Oh man i been in sobriety for 9 years with one relapse 7 years ago
It's like he really care
I do
I got Sectioned to MASAC.

Neal was infamous for asking for cigarettes while he had 2 cartons in his room😂.
Facts !! Used to smoke until he puked 🤢 the MSA’s would be like don’t give him cigarettes 🤣🤣

I’m honestly going to do one in the future was at a sober house with a kid who was there back in 2011
@jasontrimmins8264 I was there for the final year he was in business, saw some crazy shit. There's a big story there for sure.
I believe it I’ve never heard that story but it’s probably true 💯 you were down in FLA before it became program central USA
I heard the same thing the med nurse told me 20 years ago 😩. And yes he is a Wang, I believe 99% his full name was Neil Wang.
A.M.A. the real ones know 😂😂😂
Hell yeah 🤣🤣
bro, I used to work at the needle exchange there in Gloucester. like I used to know Tito who u mentioned. Helped me get cool with whatever places I ended up.
to be clear- my time at gavin was a holding not detox- it was a little crazy but I played a lot of spades and that was chill.

CHL Worcester was always my go to lol shit is WILD in there. Great place to pick up some 304s tho 😂😂😂
💯🤣
They cleaned it up it’s actually a good hit now.
@@jasontrimmins8264 yup there tv in every room I’m sorry about Freddy I think he did my intake
Bald muscle bound guy with a beard intense eyes?
He was like a brother .. 5 years clean used for 48 hours and was dead 😔
Norcap, Highpoint(Brockton) McCleans, Gosnold veteran here
My man💯 that’s a circuit … I always wanted to go to McLeans heard it was super nice. Meds and ice cream all I used to really care about 🤣🤣
@@jasontrimmins8264 it was all many moons ago by the grace of god 🙌🏻 keep up the good work my friend
@@jasontrimmins8264 the place that got me clean for good was a place in FL called the Florida house. I hear its much different these day however.
Oh I definitely heard of that place. I actually got a full scholarship to a place in Pompano in 2015
30-day program called from 12/07-1/08 M.A.S.A.C.
That is a literal nightmare 😩😩 you definitely do not get proper health care in those type of places 💯💯
@@jasontrimmins8264 I love your content thank you for shouting out Massachusetts every time you get the chance... NEW BEIGE...!!!
Mclean at Naukeag in ashburnham was amazing. It is no longer there 😢
I tried so hard to get into that place and never could 🥲
I have 11 years as of February 11th 2025. Naukeag saved my life
🙏🙏
Eastern Middlesex in Malden
I knew it was something Middlesex thanks bro 🙏 I was obviously talking about you 🤣🤣
That was my first house.
There’s a Plymouth CAB??
I lasted about 4hrs at CAB Boston and bounced. Place was a literal zoo.
@@jasontrimmins8264 lol no Plymouth high point
@@capg5806 oh lol yeah I agree 💯💯
Your doing a great job, fuck those clowns , the computer gangstas! Talking shit about your channel! I love your channel think you’re doing a great job. Brockton baby!
Thanks brother I really appreciate that 🙏💯
Arbour fuller is terrible now!!!! Haha
9 years that’s huge💯💯 I agree with your comment hit it on the head !!
i used to work at Baldpate.
I was the New Year’s Eve 2010 or 11 there was so much Xanax and people bringing their own subs and there was like a legit orgy going on in one room I was like where the F am I right now 🤣🤣
Neil. Omg.
Anyone know "The Third Nail"? detox in JP down on Lamatine St by Heath ...
I’ve honestly never heard of that one Stan. Is it an older one?
@@jasontrimmins8264 yes in the 70's there is an image of it online i looked before a bleak place on a bleak Street back then.
I feel like all those places were pretty bleak back then
