Hi Henry, am I correct in thinking that kayaking dry trousers will last longer for saltwater wading than waders? I’ve heard that the typical goretex waders ie Simms break down in saltwater after a while and seem poor value. Can you recommend a more durable alternative?

Henry , I love your videos and your passion! I’ve gained loads of tips over the last couple of years so thank you! For some reason I didn’t subscribe but have now. Can I ask your advice on waders? My fox rubber ones have finally given up and I really want a decent pair I can walk for miles in with my dogs and bass/wrasse gear . Any recommendations? I’m guessing the ones with separate boots would be better for me ?

That's a gold plated tip indeed as you say the lure you trust is the one that makes you fish harder if you can alter that lure to all conditions boom full confidence all the time fish harder and longer 💪

I bought a Penn Slammer IV 3500 and finally got round to putting some braid on it last night. The line lay was atrocious from the get go as the line was skewed towards the bottom of the spool. I played around with the various plastic washers that were supplied with the reel but to no avail. I could only get a decent line lay when all the plastic washers were removed. Emailed Penn Customer Services who responded in record time that the reel will function without the plastic washers.

Could you rig these on a Carolina rig or Texas rig?

Hi Henry, I saw this video with interest, I would like to ask you if you can load 300 meters of braided line PE 1 (0.16 mm) I really like the slammer but I don't know if the 3500 version is more suitable for me as I fish with a rod 10/ 35 grams on the reef and I have the problem of catching a lot of waves on my reels thanks for your help

The nasci and ultegra are 100 plus bucks less and function just fine sealed bearings and for the money I can’t see 250$ for a reel granted I own 12-20 spinning reels

I tell you one thing, my 6 year old daughter caught her second bass on that lure, a beautiful 69 cm fish. It really seems to attract the bigger fish.
