Another great vid Henry. If you can have one vid a day ready please for my coffee break that would be marvelous. I like a simple straight retrieve myself. No erratic movement or anything like that, just a simple swimming action. That's how i fish most lures really. It looks great under water.
Let me know your coffee break time and I will see what I can do!!!! Yes, same here, I swim most of my lures with a straight retrieve, seems to work just fine...................
Nice Henry but I think I am going to prefer my red gill V8 lures I say good on you sir for taking barb off I do and put all mine back to great a fish to kill for just 10 min on plate
Henry are these bodies stiffer? Asking as I fish the V1's in deep water offshore wrecking and drifting banks. I seem to have a real problem with V1 hooking it's own tail using sink and draw, I cannot work out why. None of my other lures suffer it. I do like the Sandeel but find myself using them less due to the tail hooking
Never heard of this happening, sorry it's going on............but no, I wouldn't say the V2 bodies are any softer. Are you clipping the Sandeel on directly to your leader?

We all like and prefer different lures, no worries at all. Yes, I see no need for any barbs on any hooks in bass fishing
