A place where I can watch my favorite TV moments. Unless UA-cam takes them down...
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea S02E17 The Phantom Strikes
Another classic episode from the Japanese laserdiscs. since I recently posted The Return of the Phantom, I figured I'd play fair and upload the first episode with Captain Kruger.
These old prints are what we had to live with back before the beautiful DVDs. Some Japanese subtitles are baked in, but mostly it's a clean image. Enjoy this top class episode, one of the most popular of the network run.

Another one of my favorite episodes! As much as I love "The Phantom Strikes" I find this sequel to be superior. The story and performances are excellent across the board. Basehart, Hedison, Ryder and Vitina Marcus (she does amazing work in a dual role). Note the preview at the end of the episode as the series went into reruns. From the old Laserdiscs. There are some Japanese subtitles baked in,...

Moonraker XXX

Sometimes you make something purely to entertain yourself. This is one of those times. Moonraker's "climax" as reimagined as a porn movie. Apologies to Barnara Broccoli and Michael Wilson. I love your franchise and loved Cubby's work!

From Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea "The Phantom Strikes." Fantastic miniature work and photography sells the battle. Great music and performances all around. Voyage at its best!
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea Episodic Preview: The Phantom Strikes

Original preview for The Phantom Strikes taken from the 16mm film print of Deadly Creature Below. Note the scene of Crane actually being shot by Nelson, a plot development removed from this episode and saved for the sequel.
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea 4th season Network Billboards
Переглядів 1378 місяців тому
These are from a Fox print I got about 15 years ago. It's from VHS but it's the cleanest I have of these 4th season station break billboards. I refuse to tag with a "bug" or watermark in the corner because I don't own the property. Drives me nuts when fans try to "own" something belonging to others. I prefer to share with fans as long as Fox/Disney doesn't mind. So if you want to download and u...
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea S03E20 The Mummy

This one is by request (forgive me for not remembering who). This is one of my favorites from the third season, mostly for the music and Basehart's tongue in cheek 4th wall breaking in the final minutes. While Bernard Herrmann usually gets most of the credit for music from "The Day the Earth Stood Still" there are a number of different scores here. My favorite piece is over the episode titles. ...

The opening and closing credits of the episode "The Project Strigas Affair" which is of particular interest to Star Trek fans. Great Jerry Goldsmith music (arranged in this version by Morton Stevens). Go by the complete DVD set. It's outstanding.
The Saint Season 6 The Fiction Makers Credits

From part 2 of The Fiction Makers. Only available in the US as a feature film version, this print was apparently taken from a 16mm reel. There was no effort to clean up the print and the end credits are all sorts of beat up, but there ya go.

In penultimate episode of the second season of Star Trek, "The Omega Glory," William Shatner gives a stirring reading of the preamble of the U.S. Constitution. Say what you like, but the message is still valid.

This ones in my top ten!
IT'S WAS A SHOW IN THE 90,S CALLED SEA QUEST. IT'S WAS A COPY OFF OF VTTBOS... IT'S WAS GOOD!!!
I JUST ❤ IT WHEN C.K. TELLS A.N. I HOPE THINGS GET BACK TO NORMAL. 😂
THE MAD SCIENTIST. IS THE BEST VILLIAN. BC THEY R JUST MEN. NOT AILEN, GHOST, MONSTERS, JUST MEN...
THEY NEEDS TO REDO THIS SERIES TODAY...
Y DON'T THEY JUST CALLS THEM ROBOTS. BC THAT'S WHAT THEY R!!! MACHINES...
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bionic Woman Joe Harnell
The premise is kind of stupid! Why didn’t the other sub just torpedo them instead of trying to ram them and run the risk of killing everybody on board?
Another Voyage episode that was part of a syndication kit, with bumpers and the next week episode preview intact. But l did notice that the brought to you by tag for sponsors at the end was just before the credits. Usually it's after the end credits just before the 20th Century Fox display.
I saw an episode ot 2 in college, when it was a rerun. Never knew,of the show. Just discovered it. I love it.❤❤❤
Isn't Lindsey the actor who played Wilbur in the Mr. Ed tv show?
No sir, that was Alan Young.
My all time favourite Sci Fi show, it's got everything monster's of various shapes and sizes (mostly human shape) giant whales, giant sting rays, big shaggy monster's, Werewolf's a Mummy, several alien's and mad scientists not to mention the beautiful Seaview streamlined, graceful armed to the teeth and built like a tank! God Bless the crew the hero's that put up with it all.😀
That was really funny, I love the Captain trying to tell the Admiral 'I quit' brilliant!
I still remember people saying this colour business will never work!
I could listen to Richard Basehart all day he had one of the most beautiful voices I ever heard, to me Voyage was the best of the sci fi shows of the sixties.
THIS IS HOW I REMEMBER IT BACK IN THE DAY BLACK AND WHITE ON A BLACK AND WHITE TV LONG BEFORE WE COULD AFFORD A COULER TV OUR FIRST COULER TV WAS I THINK IN 68 OR 69 HAPPY VIEWING FOLKS FROM SHAUN S W FRANCE 🇫🇷 BY THE WAY IM 69
Was 45 minutes late taking my pressure medication because this episode and those retromercials would not let me press the stupid pause button!
This episode was the last one produced and aired. Funny how the preview for the next episode, "The Cyborg" aired on Oct 10, 1965. I'm assuming "The Cyborg" was the first repeat episode.
I saw this episode when I was seven years old in Galveston, Texas, and I thought the "brain" was just two glowocubes with pulsing lights inside them.
This was so groovy it would have been such a cool series
Much better than the rubber-suit-of-the-week-monster episodes.
Love how the admiral pushes the books off his desk when they collide and how they can’t handle a 5 degree tilt - suddenly they act like they weigh 2 tons. The acting is so bad. 😂 Can’t believe the crap I used to watch and love as a kid.
Good acting from Windom.
I'm sorry but I thought they all had it there!😳
Thank you for posting this
Thanks For Sharing This ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Where's Gregory Peck, when we need him??? He could, 'beckon' him!! Well at least, we have "Ishmael'!!! Can we still, call him that🤔?? I think he's higher up, in rank now😉. Good episode☺️!! Admiral Nelson; "The story of Jonah. They knew that, there were fish big enough, to swallow a man". Her response; "Ancient history". History🤨⁉️ But, Jonah and the whale was in the Bible, which is not history, but a fictional, mythical tale. Besides, we all know that a whale, is NOT a fish, but a whale🐳…………
One of the best episodes I have seen of this series. The black & white and original commericals takes you back to that time. Very cool!
I used to watch it too. Now it seems like total crap. Even the commercials look like deceptive, cheesy marketing.

This episode scared me straight as a kid lol.
KING TUT, BATMAN!
I am sure I had that movie on Beta hidden under my bed!
Mad Magazine did a March, 1966 parody called _Voyage to See What's on the Bottom_ in which the Sea Pew was consumed by a giant jellyfish.
WHAT'S WITH THE SPED UP SOUND???????
It's in the description: This is a UK broadcast from Channel 4 in the mid-90's. The PAL conversion sped up the episode a bit, but I am trying to show different places where Voyage aired and I don't want to put up the clean DVD prints that you can go out and buy anyway.
Someone sent that enemy sub to ram the Seaview deliberately!
Thank uou for posting this episode. Despite what anyone says it's one of our favorites. We'll probably watch more times than you can count. Besides, how many other creatures hsve come aboard Seaview to try and take it and one or more of the crew over? Nothing unusual about that. Look foreward to future posts.😊❤😊❤😊 1:58
I'm glad I could provide! Thank you for watching and commenting. More episodes to come as I can transfer them from my old sources.
At this point this show was right off the rails story wise even Richard Baseheart wouldn't dignify this story with an.explanation of how a 3000 year old mummy came back to life Shutup and take the money for acting in this Shlock he was telling David Heddon
Well to be fair, Basehart did the series for the money from the very start. Irwin Allen paid him top dollar and Basehart had an expensive divorce to bankroll. Also, it's not like he refused to create an explanation...he was following the script. William Welch is the one who didn't bother. RB just added his own tongue in cheek delivery. I think this episode is fun, if kinda pointless. Great music and performances make this an enjoyable time passer. Thanks for commenting!
Voyage was on TV before Star Trek. So the screenplay did not originate from that show.😅😅😅 51:09
I'm not sure what comment you're referring to...
This episode should have been called "Without Consent".💕
Is it possible for you to post any more episodes? The Mermaid, The Mummy or The Rockman? Missed them earlier. Thanks . 😊😊😊
That moment when Lee is lying on the sick bay bed with the creature wrapped around his face and head... reminds me of a character played by John Hurt in a certain smash-hit Sci Fi movie that came out in 1979.
Great episode good action awesome crew captain Crane admiral Nelson
the home of bad acting.
another creature that acts just like a man in a gorilla suit.
why do all of the scientists on this show, do stupid experiments that have no logic to them, why would someone do something like this.
Something to do with creating warm environments at the poles --- the conversion to a monster was supposedly an accident, exposure to the strange new environment that Paulsen 's experiment caused. Unfortunately, no further examination is made in this regard. Was hoping to get a theory on HOW the Paulson device worked.
In color?
This video was ripped from a black and white TV showing the network broadcast of this episode. Actually this a black and white print of this broadcast.
Why need diving bell if div divers could reach them bit stupid but had good suspense all the same
