I hated the sound of mine without a rear resonator/muffler. It was super loud inside the car but the tone to me just didn’t sound good (a little weed wacker-like) IMO. The vibrant ultraquiet in place of the stock muffler was a huge difference

Aodhan Aff7 forged wheels, I was looking for some of the lightest wheels at a reasonable price point. They are 5x114.3 not 5x115 but that doesn’t seem to make much of a difference as long as you get a centering ring to the correct hub bore size

Do you know what exact centering rings you have to fit a 5x114.3?? Looks sick

And what are the wheels specs etc for the Fitment

@@CesarPalmas_ thanks! Stock hub bore is 70.3 so that’s the ID you want, the wheels I got have 73.1 so that’s the OD you want. I’ll link the rings I got. At least this makes the hub a perfect fit to take pressure off the slight difference in lug spacing when using 114.3mm. Commonly teams use 114.3 on 115 hubs in racing applications so it really shouldn’t be much of a concern like I said unless you didn’t have the right rings. Wheels, tires, coilover suspension, aem cold air intake, and vibrant exhaust mods. Not really looking to increase power on this car

Are you sure you order the correct part type? For the non turbo Elantra have to make sure you order the type for torsion beam suspension

@@07durrell yeah that has to be the only explanation, especially since it’s on the rear (that’s where the car is different than other models).

Is there a easy fix to it other than re ordering a whole kit

@@07durrell maybe they can see if the front suspension is identical. Maybe then they could swap the rear for the correct part. I’m assuming your rear suspension you got isn’t a spring with a separate strut?

Most mufflers will likely be a bit more quiet than a resonator. But the vibrant ultraquiet is somewhere in between basically can be used as either a res or a muffler. My problem, Is i had a vibrant uq in place of my stock resonator (doesn’t really make much of a volume difference but changes the sound) and i had no muffler at all on the back and it was way too loud and sounded bad inside the car. I added a second vibrant uq to match the tone profile of my midpipe resonator but it quieted it way down to where i love it now. I would day the uq resonators are basically a muffler. But that will be much louder and sound way better than a stock muffler

@@foreverfinerthings39 no, that size makes it so the overall diameter is the same as stock so it doesn’t really change your speedometer or gearing.

A SEL model for fun and looks but not speed/performance

@@ace_helix4186 do anything to the engine, like that air intake thing they do on the N and nline?? Like it’s crazy, because you think that people only like modding the N, but it turns out people also like modding it’s baby brother, the nline😂 Like today I saw a white I30 nline hatch where the owner had put those racing stripes across the bottom of the doors with the “N” logo on it. I’ve also seen a similar design, but it says “N-Line” on the racing stripe. Then over the course of this week I have seen a couple of white nline hatches, like I swear one had a pops and bangs exhaust tune. Even spotted 5 velosters yesterday and the day before - even though they weren’t from the N division. But online I see quite a few nlines and velosters are modded

Yes That’s the diameter of the inlet/outlet, 2.25” fits the stock piping size well.

It was a kit from eBay for this car. Not sure if they still have them up there, but it was a bit of a process to paint and mount. Glad it came out good

With out the res on the rear spot it was way too loud inside the car and just didn’t sound nice.

So sorry about the lack of activity lately, my life has been so busy lately I haven’t had much time to edit!

This video was a vibrant ultra quiet resonator in place of stock resonator. Muffler deleted with straight pipe. I liked the sound from outside at first but it was annoying in the car so I added another vibrant uq in place of the muffler after this

Maybe 2nd cat delete. We don’t get pops easy without a turbo

@@BilalAli-rn3ys if you straight pipe to get rid of the 2nd cat also you might get some but I’m not sure. Honestly I didn’t like the sound in the car without just the muffler so I know it would be pretty loud haha

They were some tips the muffler shop I used had for me. No idea where they got them sorry haha.

All self tappers into the thin plastic underneath, and some 3m tape

Personally I haven’t tried because I have been keeping away from anything that could harm my warranty stuff. However, someone mentioned they found someone who can tune their SEL so you might just have to keep looking until you find one

This car i did 30% all around, and 80% on windshield. It’s not too dark at all, my eldorado I did 20% all around

18s are the perfect sweet spot imo, that’ll look great

@@ace_helix4186tossed between 19s and 18s but got it tinted, been deciding how I’d like to go about the exhaust. Have some 2.5 piping but concerned about the angle. I’ll keep ya updated ! Do you have Instagram would like to see more of the caddy

I like my vibrant ultra quiet resonators, you could put one of those on. Or you could throw the stock one back on, would be different tone but similar volume I would guess

I believe stock was2” or 2 1/4”. They brought it up to 2 1/2” on this job

Mine (SEL) didn’t have any chrome there. But I plastidipped my emblems black

I never heard what it would sound like with stock muffler and resonator delete so I’m not sure about that. I think the best move would be to swap the stock muffler for a vibrant Ultraquiet. After that if you decide you want louder you could try deleting the resonator no problem, and it would sound better having that vibrant on the back end

Thinking I’ll end up going in there to do it, just wasn’t ready to go for the wiring just yet haha
