    That is really great. I can certainly see myself doing something akin to it. I think making the solid corner into a small basket weave would be nice. I would prefer having a voice over rather than the captions. They are distracting. They take away from following the work you were doing. Also, the music was so bad I had to mute it.

      Nicer music cost money and this channel does not make big profit so sorry about it. I would do voice over but english is not my first language so captions is the best option for me . Thanks for comment ;)

    Hey there. Nice job. I was wondering if the router is/was strong enought to planer the board you put in?

      It is strong enough even i run it with deep passes but shallow ones are recomended. No signs of lack of power. If bit is sharp it leaves smooth finish

      I bought mine from china. The one with replaceable blades. Can not remember the model of it but I paid about 70 dollars for a bit plus 1 set of blades. Its 30 or 40mm wide with 4 blades. Its called flattening/surfacing bit

    I'm not sure of exactly how you did it, I saw an awful lot of marking and drawing of lines,for all I know, you made a wooden block and drew the bricks on the block!

      I am not sure I understan your question. If you meant trimming before glue up border/frame answer is yes, a little bit

      Just cut down two 80’ elms. Going to dry logs and cut boards in a year. Probably able to make 500 cutting boards lol

    I’ve been building this board for about a month (maybe more) and it’s not as easy as you make it look. A warning for people who try this. DONT use wood that has previously been glued up into boards as they will break and fall apart when you are cutting them into the 18mm or 9.5mm strips. But hey ho, it’s all a learning curve

      I started converting inches to mm & cm when I started making end-grain cutting boards. It made them so much more accurate.
