Is the noctua L9x65 a good cooler? Ryzen 5600 may upgrade to 7700

So all together I can have 5 fans for something like a series S size . And one or two more fans mod from Etsy

i have a UM790 pro with a 4070 ti super over oculink. its very capable of gaming. i went this direction due to space constraints in my gaming room. it was easy 2 do for a first time PC "build" as id always had laptops and consoles in the past. i can get good FRs of around 90-100 in 4k for wukong high settings for e.g. im very happy i did not get a laptop. with minis forum u can do a "bare bones" purchase where u dont have to re buy everything meaning i can take the mem and ssd and windows from my current set up and re-use it in a future mini PC upgrade witch i think is a great middle ground on upgrade ability between laptop and PC. if u have the space, PC is king but if your choosing between laptop and mini PC (which i think is a better comparison) mini PC wins easy.

I only use my mini pc for web Browsering and game streaming my xbox from work or from my living room

Comparing gaming discrete graphics vs integrated graphics and saying that it's comparable makes no sense at all. If you want it to be comparable, chose a mini-PC that has discrete graphics, like the HX99G or the G7 Pt.

I'm always on the outlook for a low power server and with its power consumption this would be of interest. Currently in the UK it is a bit expensive and I don't like the lack of a power button (even if it is just using 6w) but I guess I'm not the target audience. Any way great review👍

I found that capping the front in take fan to 55% / 950 rpm completely removes that high pitched humming sound. Temperatures remained the same as well!

I’ve always had my case and cpu coolers with the Noctua NF-F12 chromax fans. And when I sold my AIO and bought the peerless assassin I obviously used my noctua fans without a question.

ITS $500 WHERE I LIVE! I am sticking with the trusty Raspberry Pi.

Hot wheels pc goes crazy

Budget in the title makes me laugh

I bought a mini PC similar to this in March of this year (specifically a SER5 5660U model). And for the first 5-6 months I had it, it worked great (putting aside Windows 11's nonsense). Unfortunately now however, I'm facing a major problem with it. At random moments, the whole picture starts glitching like crazy after having the thing on for more than an hour or 2 (with green and purple showing). Sometimes immediately if I run more intense programs like Blender and such. Now there could be potential reason for it doing this, one being due to me stupidly leaving the thing on 24/7 aside from occasional resets, but I also have a feeling something inside the PC got screwed up or became loose. The only other problem tho is that... since I don't know how to fix tech or take it apart, I don't know what part inside is the source of the problem. Do you have any potential diagnosis for what it could be aside from me being stupid with it?

I want at least 3 NVMe and few ITX have that (none really).

Can people please, PLEASE! quit shilling for Noctua so damn much- I got a Thermalright AXP90-X47 for my Ryzen 7 5800x3D and it cools it 100% fine. No undervolt or anything. I do after effects and premiere for a living and Have yet to see it go above a 85c even full load rendering and editing 4k video as well as gaming in Cyberpunk at max graphics with all the bells and whistles. Like I get it they make good products but you are spending so much money on the Noctua stuff.

I see the issue, everyone! Our boi here used a Ryzen 5 3600 which is highly known for its overheating problems. It’s very difficult to cool a Ryzen 5 3600 because it overheats alot. Can you try a Ryzen 5 5600?

There wasn't a screw holding down the m.2 drive on mine, and when i opened it up, it popped up in the holder. I'm going to check the thermal paste on the cpu this weekend because it seems to be running a little hot hitting 90C under load. I bought it new a month ago.
