Pump jobs make life easy!
We had an easy Friday to finish off a very busy and very hot week. We poured with a landscape company, and poured concrete for two foundations. Happy Friday!
I started this channel after I began driving cement mixer trucks in Eastern Washington. As a cement mixer truck driver, I enjoy watching trucker videos but rarely came across local truck driving jobs like cement trucks, pick-up and delivery, and construction. Judging by comments and questions I’ve seen on other truck driving channels, many people don’t realize that there is a side to the trucker lifestyle other than long haul OTR driving. I am excited to bring more truck driving content to the genre. I hope you enjoy it!
Please let me know in the comments what you like, what you don’t like, and what you’d like to see more of as I continue making videos. Thanks!

Super wet concrete, not good

Almost ran out of fuel ua-cam.com/video/az8oY2OXBXg/v-deo.html Today was a good day! I got up early, had my cold shower, and a few easy jobs delivering concrete. We did curb machine. AGAIN. and then had a delivery to a super secret job site. Not exciting, just can't record it... I started this channel after I began driving cement mixer trucks in Eastern Washington. Today we had curb jobs. Lots of curbs. Curb machines are easy in an automatic, but you still have to pay attention to your slump. If the concrete is even a little too wet, the contractors can't use the mud. So getting the water right is a must! Today we got a very early start with a driveway. Then we poured concrete for a garage slab, and a foundation wall. For some reason, all my clips got cut short when I imported them into the editor, so this video is a little weird. We had another loooong day today. We started off pouring color concrete with fiber at a winery here in town. We ended the day with a pump job pouring a new foundation. We happened to see the aftermath of a pretty substantial mess up... I started this channel after I began driving c...

Another 13 hour day in the books. I had a top secret job today, but that wasn't as stressful as staring at a low fuel warning for 45 minutes. We poured a pool deck and added color. Mixer truck blows tire; fully loaded

I thought this would be just another day driving mixers... I've never had a tire blow out on my truck, let alone a steer tire. Concrete mixers are notorious for flipping, especially when a front tire explodes. I count myself extremely lucky that this situation wasn't worse... Sorry. A front is a front discharge 6 wheel drive truck, 11 yards. Driver controls the discharge and lays concrete out as they reverse and lay concrete out with they're joystick

Take a challenge. We pour the concrete. Takes 1 or 2 less people. I lay you a consistent pour with 1 to 2 inches of grade with no puddling. Drive a front and take a challenge.

I’ve seen your content before and your videos are badass. Everything from the editing to the different camera angles both in and outside the cab. I like the name of your channel and yes I agree you are a Trucker. This is the Construction side of Trucking that most people don’t think of when you think of a Truck Driver. Keep up the great content. You’d also be a good trainer.

Like your videos and how you explain your job. I drove a mixer for 43 years before I retired. I never did mind going to a curb machine too much, They usually had good crews there. Until the last few years I drove manuals, MaxiTorques and Roadrangers. A little ticklish on steep hills but everything went Okay. Looking in your mirror, looks like you're pouring for a good crew.

Just letting you know, you need a lot a lot of sugar for 10 yards like try 5-10 of those packets, anyways you didn’t even need the sugar I drive for cemex in Arizona where it gets 120 out here, plus your mud was holding the slump so you didn’t need it

You're lucky that crew is letting you pour a curb machine at a 2. Ive had to deal with a curb machine crew who pours at a 0. Leave the drum on full discharge, and it still takes an hour for 10 yards...my clutch foot is numb by the end of the pour.

So many questions: 1. What if it’s raining, how does the rain not affect the “slump”? 2. When you rinse it out how does it not harden and mess with the ground you are rinsing it into? 3. When the drum spins faster or slower does that affect the slump too? 4. Thank you.
