@@Rockcreekgarageworks I have a kit that actually sounds like a train. You need several larger horns and a compressor with a tank like actual trains have. An actual train horn kit is around $1500. Also, it still sounds like a train horn even when recorded with a phone.

@frankshanks9726 the motohorn kits come with micro direct compressor. I'm cheap so I shop on wish for most stuff 😆.

@Rockcreekgarageworks I mean, give it a shot. Its just a tab of cardboard, a couple crimps, and some tape; but the 4Runner I did this to 5? years ago that had shredded turn signal harnesses in the front wheel wells is still like this and ripping all over New England. The radio too, if I recall.

@@RobertNorton1 the reason my right side is like that is bc they sent me 2 left brackets. They did send me the right one along with a new mirror for the one I broke.

Sry for the late reply. I didn't get a notification. I unscrewed the black brace bar that sits on top of the battery that is connected to the fender. I put a u terminal on it and sandwiched between the fender, and that bar works fine.

@@Rockcreekgarageworks thank you bro i was confused but i ended up driving a small self tapper onto the metal bar that the radiator sits under with a ring terminal zip tied the wiring to that brace bar on top of the battery and it works perfectly fine, awesome video thank you for your reply boss

But I will be in TX soon to continue making videos on the burbank and possibly a different build for the channel. I lived in Henderson from 16 to 19 next to GreenVally HS. Love Vegas so much. I was supposed to retire there, but Texas was cheaper and more land.

it's like a mini compressor. It just keeps on going. I haven't seen a difference in the pitch dropping while I hold the button.

@licenseguru7025 not yet, my wife has my truck in TX, and I am in Cali until I retire at the beginning of next year. That's why I haven't made the videos for the cab lights or the tow mirrors. I will order the 2nd horn once I'm home and do the install as suggested by another viewer and make a video.

So it didn't come with instructions, that's why I just attached it to my horn. It does get people's attention because it isn't what they would expect when they try to cut you off. For mounting as long as you have a drill it can be put anywhere.

@jaygolden4218 There are some states that have specific regulations. The way I look at it is if you go to autozone, they have a section for upgraded horns. I don't know decibels but if they can sell them in the state why not get your own set.

@agustinsanchez7138 I'm sry it seems that the 04 was discontinued or out of stock. I was only able to find the 07 and up. You could use it with a front clip conversion, but it is cheaper to buy a mesh grill and add lights.

I'm not sure which model that was advertised. I bought mine off a friend and it's is loud enough to scare ppl and get their attention. I will say bc it's facing the passenger side, the sound is quiet on the driver side. Will have to add one facing that way!

If I remember correctly, there are screws that hold the 2 side pieces. There should be the metal clips that mount it to the radiator support.

The gap you see is because I didn't close the hood. When it's closed, everything looks like normal.

If you pulled the 10amp from its spot, then that should be what's on bottom. The pigtail wire is normal attached to the top slot.

Yes, it is a normal plastic surface. You should be able to scuff and then paint it, and they sell a flat or gloss version when u buy it.

So I went with bolts because I want to be able to remove it when I need it. I am taking that risk with my passengers not having it welded. If you weld it directly to the floor, it would be safer. But you still need to raise it off the floor. There won't be too much leg room depending on who you have there. Also, you need about 1in of space for the wheels and clamps to sit below the clamping bar. There is a kit you can buy on Amazon or eBay for $60, and you can weld them directly to the floor, and then you would have a base to attach to. I'm no expert again. You're taking your own risk on doing this mod. I hit mine with a sledge several times, seeing if it would move or break and nothing, so I was OK with just using bolts.

It is the same item on ebay, it is made for the Tahoe 3rd bucket seats but can be used for the 3rd row bench.

The kids like to go through the back hatch or the back window mostly was fun for them. But it's the same as the 3rd row jump over the seat. I'm 5'10 and I can fit without shoes on in the 4th row.
