Hello Sir, I have a question. I have camera which captures photos and stores on its USB attached device. Instead of this I want to add connection from the camera USB to NAS usb so that all captured data from the camera should be stored on the NAS drive and at the same time I want the third computer to access NAS to read those data. Can this be doable with this setup??

How you can Connect to your nas wen your out of your home

So, the title is misleading. THIS IS ALL YOU NEED but then you start saying: if you want IDS/IPS for 1 gb+ connection, it's not good. If you want PoE+ (at protocol), it doesn't support it and you NEED TO BUY a poe switch or injector. Yeah... "great" video.

I also ran a bunch of 6A cables as well and one to my garage. the things you can do with the ceiling pulled down! pretty excited to move everything down to the office to actually get good speeds. someday I need this Agg switch!

I would suggest that you switch that old 24port gig switch with an USW Pro Max 24 POE and switch the three APs with the Ubiquiti U7pro and the U7 in wall. Nothing but that, it is a great network

Nowadays, you can simply drop the iso file on a flash drive that has Ventoy installed! Much faster than making individual drives for different things!

Only thing to be sure you’re aware of if doing a more complicated network is that this aggregation switch is only layer 2. That’s on a local network but if you want security features or QOS, the switch is not for you.

Ok the aggregation costs 300€ and the 5port 10g one costs 330€. UniFi prices the sfp+ 10g to rj45 Adapter at 60€. So 60€*5=300€. So yes the aggregation is cheaper but you need sfp+ modules which are expensive. In my opinion the aggregation is not a very suitable product for most of the normal tech savvy people. Instead I would go with the lite or the enterprise xg. Only if you need sfp+ ports I would go with the aggregation.

When I setup both of my racks i used thin patch cables for a cleaner look. For my lab stuff I terminated rj45 to a keystone on the patch panel then a thin patch cable to my switch. You could turn your NVR around if you wanted to go this route. Having the shorter cables does make it look so much cleaner.

Slate Plus is the only one that uses native OpenWrt kernel (v5) . Everything else uses very old kernel (v4) that has not been updated for 2-3 years.
