    Totally agree. Love Studio Ghibli. Seen Spirited Away heaps of times but when my mother passed away in 2021, Spirited Away took on a whole new meaning for me, especially the Sixth Station scene, the imagery, the music, roughly a year after her passing I found this same book, at a 2nd hand bookshop. Paid $25(AUD) for it. As I got to the pages with the Sixth Station artwork, I started getting emotional, bit teary, thinking of Mum, how I feel about her & how I felt when watching that scene in the movie. Good books move us.

    I've been following your Creative Market saga since i followed your approval video. I just want to say that I started CM back in 2015 if im not mistake and I sold very well there consistently. A few years ago, specifically when they make considerable changes in the team and the platform (and probably algorithm to), sales started to decrease and i stopped to upload content regularly. 2 months ago i started to upload again almost every week and the math is very simple, no one see my products. I got 2 sales on 2 different products when I launch them with just 3 or 4 views, and then silence. After 2 months I still have the same views I got in the first week - 4 or 6 or 7. And I think I know the reason but that's will be a conversation for a post not a UA-cam comment. Anyway, no one is going to buy from you if no one sees your items, and I remember very well to get 100 views in the first hour after releasing something. CM used to be my favorite Market place (and im selling in almost all of them for more that 10 years), unfortunately not anymore. Though, Im still hooping they change some things, but in the meantime you have better alternatives.

      @VincitDesignCo 23 години тому

      Thanks for sharing your story here. Maybe I'll put together a video about this, as I have a couple of theories on why products get or don't get views. I'm late on making an update video, which I should do, but the quick gist is that I have made consistent sales on 3 of the 13 products I have on Creative Market. One is a font, one is an asset pack, and one is an icon pack. I would say the font is the winner, with several sales per month. Again, I'll try to make a video soon about this.

    This looks so good, but I wonder if it's for someone who draws with their palm sticking on the iPad? I mean, my hand needs stability. I wonder if it will move (collapse down) when my hand is resting on it while drawing.

    • @VincitDesignCo
      @VincitDesignCo 3 дні тому

      That's a great point. I think that it is pretty sturdy, and I have rested my palm on it while drawing. However, I do think it will move if you were to rest your entire arm on it, as it's not exactly an easel for art. I would say, if you plan to use it for multiple uses (like putting your laptop on it + drawing on your iPad) then give it a try! You can always return it.

    I had to keep telling myself that this review is for begining artists because #1 on my list is Clip Studio Paint, which CAN BE intimidating for the new artist. It has tons of similarities to Adobe Photoshop, including the ability to animate, but it's focused on manga/comic book illustrators (that's me!). If CSP had the ability to have text curve to a path like Adobe Illustrator, it would be PERFECT. Autodesk Sketchbook IS free. And Sketchbook is a delight to use. You are correct and people who are saying otherwise are not telling the whole truth. Sketchbook PRO, however is a paid subscription, and with the PRO version you get a myriad number of tools. Both the free version and the PRO version are very easy to use for a beginner. The only con: If you are looking to publish a comic book or an illustrated book, publishers still accept work saved in Illustrator format, at least that's been my experience. If anyone here has experienced otherwise, please let me know. So I agree with your list. For artists that are new to digital art creation, for price, ease of use, and platform flexibility, Autodesk Sketchbook is the #1 choice. But for more seasoned digital artists who are focused on publication, Clip Studio Paint is the new gold standard... I just need the publishers of the United States to realize that and not insist on csp files being converted to.ai.

Also once I spent 3hrs on doing hair strands and my tablet died and lost all my progress. When I saved it multiple times. @@VincitDesignCo when you try to flip an object or a box in animation atleast, you will need to draw it by hand as the prespactive and the shape that the camera is seeing with change, and the thing that page was showing was called squash and stretch which is one of the 12 principals in animation, an animator needs to learn to draw / master all of them. The squash and stretch gets used in showing the viewers the scance of weight or the state of the object as a pingpong ball with suqash and stretch when you drop or throw it in real life and if you're trying to make the ball made out of metel, it will not be squash and stretch in the process.it's just the thingy you got worng . But thanks for thw recommendations though. I got that book after seeing your video because if has though walking cycles and acting ways to show emotions in animation. I was struggling with figuring out how to put that scance of sprinting or slowly walking for sneaking motion when i was drawing my pillow walking cycle ❤️❤️
