i got rejection two time i receive same email please help me approved my shop. This is the Email i receive two time how to solve this. Thank you for your interest in Creative Market and for taking the time to apply to open a shop! We see some very interesting and original ideas in your portfolio, but we'd like to see more examples of your work before deciding if you're right for our marketplace. Please take some time, and when you have more examples in your portfolio, get back to us. For the best results, we recommend showing completed products that you intend to sell on the marketplace.
Hey there! I didn't get this email in my rejection process, so this is an interesting one. What I would suggest is making sure that the work you have on your portfolio (whether that's Behance or Dribble) is product based, and not necessarily work based. Meaning, I would go ahead and create what you consider to be the product thumbnail. So if it's a pack of 30 bear illustrations, you want to make sure that the thumbnail would clearly depict what your selling, exactly as it would go on Creative Market. I would also make sure you have some listings up somewhere, whether that's Etsy or just a personal shop, and that might help get the ball rolling. I think I had about 6 or 7 listed when I finally got approved to get on Creative Market.
Great question. I don't think you need 10. I think we had about 4 or so when I applied and finally got approved once I figured out the Behance situation along with setting up the user profile info.
Glad it was helpful! You mean you're link to your Etsy shop? There should be a place for that in the application form. I'm not sure what you mean by "put my email on Etsy."
Hi Vincit Thanks for answering. Please look at your video on 3.18, I received that email. Creative Market says please ensure that the email address associated with your Creative Market user account is visible on your portfolio, website, or social accounts linked in your application. I don't understand what is that means. My portfolio is my Etsy account, And I can't put my email in the shop, Can I? @@VincitDesignCo
hey, my products got rejected because they don't meet the guidelines of Design cuts. Could you do a video on how to make a design/product within what they are looking for?
I'm starting out on creating a portfolio specifically for the creative market, any tips on how to make it work in the first go? I'm planning to make illustrations.
Nice! I would simply do it similar to how I described in the video, having your portfolio built out on Behance or Dribble (Creative Market loves Dribble for some reason). Then, I would go ahead and make a digital Etsy store and have some of your products listed there. There's no application process to get started there. I would also just make sure you have nice thumbnails for your products. Not just 1 image for each one, as Creative Market might not think that's enough. Try to have 4 or 5 images that highlight what your product is.
Hello sir Can you help me to open shop on creative market? I got three time rejection with same reason "Take youe time and show more work" Now I have mail to support but still not get any response.
If you are getting responses about showing more work, then most likely your projects or products don't have enough thumbnail photos shown. I would suggest making sure you have a Behance or Dribble portfolio with several projects.
Well, they sent me this answer - "we've determined your products aren't quite what Creative Market customers are looking for. For this reason, we won't be able to review future requests from you." Is it possible to try from other email address with other kind of products?
Yes, you should be able to apply from a different email, with different products. I would take a good scan through all of what Creative Market offers and figure out how your products can align there.
I received that email as well and I say it's BS since the projects I had listed in my portfolio and other shops were similar (theme, type of graphics) that sell well on Creative Market..not to say about some sub mediocre stuff I've seen on that platform but somehow tey got accepted. 🤷🏻♀️🙄
I got this rejection "Unfortunately, we've decided to pass on your shop request. While we appreciate your application, we want to make sure we're setting new shop owners up for success, and we've determined your products aren't quite what Creative Market customers are looking for. For this reason, we won't be able to review future requests from you." what should I do now?😅
Oh wow. This is a new message I've not encountered, nor heard of before. I would definitely reach out to the support team to see if you can get some clarification.
Hi there! Im trying to open a shop and they said they want to see more of my products, I have already 11 listings, I saw people saying that 5 to 10 listing was enough but they keep saying this: Thank you for your interest in Creative Market and for taking the time to apply to open a shop! We see some very interesting and original ideas in your portfolio, but we'd like to see more examples of your work before deciding if you're right for our marketplace. I didn't get this specific message from Creative Market, but I can say that I had about 9 products on Etsy, and about 10 on my Behance page. What I did was link the work from Behance to the actual product on Etsy. So that it looked even more like a completed product. I'd also recommend making sure you have multiple thumbnails/images for your products, not just 1 image showing what it is.
@@VincitDesignCo HI! Thank you for the answer!! Today I was finally approved, It was missing what was included in the set in the first photo of the preview. Like that: "63 png elements and 20 digital papers". I changed all the first images and got the approval 4 hours later kkkkk thank you! :)
What's your Creative Market story, or did you get approved first try?
idk why yt recommended this but i like your voice, its nice
Thanks! I appreciate you watching!
Duh I was at the third rejected email and no clue exactly like where you were. Thank you for sharing this! I would go ahead and try the forth email 😂
Hope it works out!
Thank you so much for this! I appreciate you sharing, so I don't have to go through that crazy process.
So glad it was helpful for you!
For me, I don't have any portfolio so I just gave the link of my Etsy shop which sells some hand painted cliparts back then and got accepted.
Nice! Glad that worked for you.
Thanks for this bro! Very helpul information
Glad it was helpful!
Thanx for the video buddy 🙏
Most welcome!
Is it necessary to attach an example file in my Behance portfolio or is presentation images enough?
The images should technically be enough, but if you can link it to your personal website that would probably be preferred.
How long after a rejection can I reapply? And if I send my portfolio, is it okay to use Behance and Dribble?
I reapplied pretty much the next day.
Super helpful vid, thank you so much!
You're very welcome!

Can I use those products that I published in my portfolio on Dribble to sell them on Creative Market and Fabrica? Thank you
Sure, if you made them yourself!
Great video! I did my portfolio in canva and I got rejected, do u think is because I didnt do in behance or dribble? Thank u
I kept getting rejected until I added the Behance portfolio link. Honestly I think they really do want to see one or the other.
I had a behance portfolio link and still got rejected so... 🤷🏻♀️
where did you re submit your portfolio?on creative fabrica?
For Creative Market? There are links you can provide. I just used Behance to create a portfolio, as I already have the Adobe Cloud subscription.
i already attached my behance and dribbble but it was get rejected , so i would like to re try but i cant find anything

They say linking dribble with creative market will make you get accepted immediately? But you have to be subscribed on dribble 12$ a month?
Interesting. I got approved without a Dribble, so I think Behance will work just as well so long as you have some work there.
No, I have dribble pro and I tried last week and got rejection 3rd times lol
@@bholuclac5718 how many times we can apply?
I have linking Dribbble and CM without subscribed. But I make the application now - December 2023.
