This channel is designed to highlight my fishing adventures. There will be some tournament angling, fun trips, educational and helpful things as well as some product highlighting and advertising. All of which will revolve around kayak fishing.
I enjoy fishing the Hobie Bass Open Series National Kayak Trail. Locally I participate in the Mid Atlantic Kayak Bass Fishing Trail as well as the Delaware Paddlesports Kayak Bass Fishing Series.
I'm based out of Hershey, PA but I travel all over to fish. There no telling where I may end up.
The channel is proudly supported by the following folks...
Under the Bridge Cider
Torqeedo Electric Outboard Motors

Epic Failure on My Home Water!
So two tough days of fishing, I led after day 1 and then failed to get a limit on day 2. Literally, the worst day of fishing that I have had on the Susquehanna in a few years. And of all times to do it... day 2 of the MAKBF TOC!
One 12" fish would have won the event for me. And at 2:59pm (lines out was 3:00pm), I lost a 17+ inch fish that hit right at the boat.
I'm done complaining now!

Now that’s a fish bass master
great job some nice fish !! do you prefer the 12'9 over the 14' kayak i think you have fished both also does it get up the susky rapids pretty good for one stop solo fishing?
Both kayaks have individual strengths. The 13'6" (14) is faster, has longer range. The 12'9" is more maneuverable. It should really come down to a decision of storage space and the way you fish. If you're a run and gun kind of fisherman, I'd say 14. If you're a slow methodical fisherman that prefers to pick things apart, otherwise using less power in your motor system, the 12 is the right boat. Both are equally stable, both are durable, both are not lightweight. They're light in terms of kayaks in general but they're heavy on the inflatable scale. Heavy = Durable. All of your lightweight inflatables are very thin and not as puncture resistant as the Osprey boats.
Nice
Thanks
@@JakeHarshman Yeah buddy
Nice
Nice boat. Is that the USS Jake.
Yep
Awesome a Harshman video.
Hey, thanks!
poor fish its blind
Probably
Nice small mouth
What bait are you using
Bladed Jig
Is that the same boat?! That’s some seriously nice decking in there
Nope, this is Jason Shay's boat! I'm not that fancy yet.
A jet boat without dents and broken boots ain't a jet boat
So I've heard
Hell yeah
Great smallie fishing on the Susquehanna River. Where abouts are you ?
I live near Harrisburg
If only they were all that easy!!
Right!
😎
Appreciate yall!
You were right. Man is the river low. Nice fish.
Yes it was
How much did it weigh?
No Clue
Happy to see you finally got some big boy pants on
I'll still outfish most jet boat owners in my kayak...
That boot isn’t gonna look that clean and smooth for long.
Sure ain't
That’s one giant kayak! lol
lol
So what’s the verdict? You like the boat better?
Not sure yet, some aspects yes, others no
I know you only had one day but what’s better for the Susquehanna and what do you enjoy more?without a rock proof boat there’s still limitations. Deciding on buying motor for kayak or buying a small boat with jet
@@johnjorfi8338 I promise u don't need a junk overpriced rock proof!
@johnjorfi8338 I had a G3 16/48 with a 60/40 for years and fished everywhere. I now have a Rhino jet with tunnel and UHMW for half price of a rock proof and will definitely go wherever a rock proof goes. Most people never run their jet boat to its potential the Throttle is just a on off switch lol
I echo this statement
Depending on water levels, a kayak is better
Nice! Welcome to the dark side! lol
Hahahaha
Better than that kayak ain't it? I like a kayak but man i love my boat
Ehh... not sure yet
@@JakeHarshman I love a boat just for the fact of how good you can see ledges a big rock by itself makes for more accurate casts
Was at my cabin on the raystown branch over the weekend. Caught some nice smallies. Haven’t been out in like 2 months, it was great!
Awesome man!
💪👈🫵
Appreciate y'all!
Beast. Pippin frog. I like it.
Love the frog!!!
“If the kayak’s a’rockin…. It means I have a bass on the line”
truth!
I really like your creamsicle top😊
Thank you! 😊
Awesome! I sold my dream fishing boat to get my business off the ground. I miss that thing!
I hope that maybe this will be the start of my own business
Nice
Thanks
Awsome shot there..
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! I've been eyeing this lure for a while now and now I've got to get me a few.
You should!
This is another awesome video you've created.
Thanks again!
Wow thats a tank love the fall transition from summer top water time
Thanks!
Wow , man that was a tank of a fish. Hate you lost him . Thats was a sinking sickening in the stomach feeling. Been there really stinks.
Yeah it was a tough one for sure
What a toad
Thanks man!
Good effort Jake, and you took home some cash. Get 'em next time. Happy Belated Birthday!
Thanks 👍
Sometimes they WANT to get in the boat
Right! lol
Yo maannn..he got IN UR FACE!!
lol
A fish kiss, now make a wish
lol
Trying to get the right thumbnail like😂
basically
"You, sir, are a fish."
Nah
HAAAWWWWWGGGGG
Thanks!
👍👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
"That's awesome Bill"
Rather lose a bass then a walleye, salmon or pike
Bass said “hawk tuah”
No lie detected
Lots of trophy small mouth. That's wild.
What was the reason of taking 3 different cuts on a video of the same fish??
3 different photos taken on the timer from my phone positioned just below the camera that filmed this. each time, placing the fish back in the water while setting up the next photo.
@@JakeHarshmantry doing a pic supporting its belly so it’s longways or maybe a bait in the mouth shot instead of the same 4 shots👍 nice fish bud
