Which Rod Do You Use?

- This is one question I get continuously throughout my UA-cam posts and other socials. I'm going to provide a cheat sheet typed out below for you all.
I will break this down for you based on lure/presentation, area type being fished and then provide any outlying information I think is important to share.
Chatterbaits (Open Water, Wood, Rocks) = Med Heavy Mod-Fast
Chatterbaits (Grass) = Med Heavy to Heavy Fast
Fast Action rods will allow you to rip the bait through sparse grass so it will come through clean and not get hung up
Spinnerbaits = Med to Med Heavy Mod Fast (See previous video of my favorite spinnerbait rod)
Lipless Crankbaits = Med to Med Heavy Fast
Squarebills/Shallow Diving Crankbaits = Med to Med Heavy Mod to Mod Fast
Deep Diving Crankbaits (less than 3/4oz) = Med Mod Fast
Deep Magnum Crankbaits = Med Heavy Mod Glass (TFO Tactical Glass 7'10" Med Heavy Mod Glass is still my favorite rod for this)
Glide Baits/Big Swimbaits (w/Treble Hooks) = Mag Heavy Mod Fast
Big Swimbaits (Straight Shanked Hooks) = Heavy to Mag Heavy Fast
Jigs = Med Heavy to Heavy Fast
Finesse Jigs = Med Light to Med Fast Spinning Rod
Topwater Treble Hooks = Med to Med Heavy Mod Fast
Topwater Buzzbaits = Med to Med Heavy Fast with Braid to a Mono or Fluoro Leader
Topwater Frogs = Heavy Fast
Flukes (Rigged Texas Rig or Nose Hooked) = Medium Fast
I'm sure I'm forgetting some other presentations, if there is one not covered, please ask in the comments!

Nice video! Appreciate the incite, and for sharing with us!
My pleasure!
I've been switching to more moderate action rods for my reaction baits. I find my landing ratio is much better. Solid video and information dude.
Good stuff!
