Thank you! Yes, that donut wagon needed a little help. I’m glad it can be used with the other donut sets, too. So far, I think my cubes are helping with my organization, but it’s easy to get off track and forget that the primary purpose is for storage. At least I have a lot of cubes to work with.

I know some people like to freeze their chocolate bars, too, like Snickers bars. Not me, I like my chocolate bars nice and borderline melting to maximize the flavor. I used to love when I found a forgotten pack of M&Ms in my jeans pockets as a kid. Tasty and melty! I’m thankful for the thunderstorm overnight. Keep hydrated and please don’t pass out on the way to the mailbox! You can always use a frozen Ring Ding to cool your forehead. 🧊

Argh.... ☹ Anyhoo, have you ever checked out the toy section at Goodwill? I was there yesterday and saw something you would have loved and it was only about 4.99, I think. : / It was a two story ice cream shop and in Perfect condition. No idea what the brand name was, didn't have my reading glasses with me. A while back, I found a brand new Honey Bee Acres Sunflower Cottage play set, complete with doll and furniture. Couldn't pass that up and it came home with me. 😊 I keep my snack size Snickers bars in the fridge. : D I Loved Carvel Brown Bonnets because I loved to bite off the frozen chocolate. ; D My lil yard bunny is back and I had a short conversation with him two days ago. He is insanely cute!!! 🐰🐇 But the day before I was out back and wound up getting a tick on my arm. It was insanely gross! Everything evens out. ; D

You have an elegant collection! All the figures in such pretty dresses. They must look beautiful in your Laduree room. The Persian cat in Liberty print is so pretty. I was on the fence about getting the garden couple in liberty print (I’m not crazy about the male rabbit’s clothes), but then I convinced myself to get them since there are not many liberty print figures out there and they would look beautiful in a garden setting. Thanks for the Dollar Tree tip! I followed through with your Walmart craft paper tip and found a stack I liked of 48 pages for five bucks - yay! Oh, don't get me started on summer weather. Stifling and miserable for me. I never take vacation in the summer and busy myself at work, just waiting for the season to go away. When I grew up, ALL of my friends in the neighborhood went to summer camp for the day. That just didn't happen in my family and I had no desire. Somehow I got through splendidly playing with me, myself and I. Thankfully, it wasn't sleepover camp so we still played kickball every evening. Today is actually a reprieve at 89 degrees. Perfect crayon melt on the pavement weather for you to skid your bike into - ha, ha! Yes, I'm comforted by central AC and trying to close vents in parts of the house I'm not using much to maximize cool air getting to upper level. Not even halfway through July and then August, ugh. And all the Halloween stuff is starting to filter into stores and I can't even fathom cool crisp air or creepy stuff at this point. Let the countdown begin. Be well and cool off with some ice cream!🍦🍧💙

I couldn't believe it in June, when some kids were Still in school, stores started having Back To School items out on the shelves. 🙄 Was never a fan of school. Not too far from where I lived, was a Big parking lot where they parked school buses for the summer. If we had to drive past it, I would scrunch my eyes shut tight and even turn my head to face away from that direction. LOL! To me, the only good thing about summer was that there was no school. ☺ Oh boy, this past week would have made for some mighty fine melted crayon days! Somehow, I don't think my neighbors would have appreciated me scribbling down memory lane. 🤪 Finally some rain this morning! Woo hoo!

The dress and accessories for the liberty print bedroom are what sold me. But there are too many new sets coming out, so I definitely understand the hesitation, particularly when the molds used for the accessories and furniture are repeated over and over. Your daughter shares your exquisite taste in Sylvanians. The old Misty Forest collection is very sweet. I hope Santa Claus brings her the fountain of wishes one of these years. I agree, the small size of the fountain of wishes is good for us at this point but, ideally, it could be just a little taller. Six more months, and we’ll probably hear sooner, about the 40th anniversary releases! 🤗

@@SylvanianWorld It's true😉, it won't be long before we see the new releases to celebrate the 40th anniversary and before that we will have the Japan Summer Lottery, there will be so many irresistible new releases. I didn't mention it but I also love Tanuki figure, I've been trying to reunite the family but it's not easy to find, the son is missing and the baby I bought is in bad condition. We always have something in mind to add to the collection🤭❤️

You are correct. I had to lightly tape it to back of the shelving unit. I could not figure out how to attach it otherwise. I have since disassembled the shelves because currently not using them in any of my displays.

I kept dragging my feet for many reasons, and my whole house became such a mess with this diorama. Also, I had to do minor repairs on the buildings before the tour, such as re-gluing a few of the sweets that had fallen off, etc. The buildings got quite heavy with all of those candies glued to them, ha ha 🍭. I knew I had to document this project to enjoy watching it years from now and remember all the details. But it was a very tedious process, as I know you understand, and I’m relieved that it is done. It’s wonderful to hear what you enjoyed in Confectionery Row! I hope to stick with my idea for Christmas 2024, and I’m glad to have you to share the excitement of Christmas starting in summertime! Exactly six months apart - that’s pretty cool!! So back when we were kids and half birthdays mattered, we could’ve shared birthdays, like me being 6 1/2 on your birthday, ha, ha. 🎂🎉😃 I’ve gotten my living room back to some degree, but confectionery clean up is taking a loooong time and it still looks like a candy store exploded in my house 🧨🍭. I’m on a declutter kick - if there is such a thing for a toy collector. For me it means organizing (stuffing) as much as I can into closets or the basement. The cable guy came over a couple of days ago, so that really motivated me to clean up confectionery row and put away (hide) a few toys. But my main cable hook up is in the room where I have all of those cubicles, so he got his eyeful 🤭. Seems like it’s going to be another hot summer. September cannot come soon enough for me! I plan to enjoy watching the birds in my flower bed. We put out bird food as well as a deep plastic bowl filled with water and a few rocks for a temporary bird bath, and it’s always fun to watch our little visitors. Hope you are staying cool and comfortable!

@@SylvanianWorld Right!!! 😀 1/2 birthdays were a BIG thing when we were kids! I look back now and wish I hadn't been in such a rush, ya know? Any work in the house that requires a stranger to enter my domain....ugh! 😲 First, Panic, then stand at the front door and take it all in with a strangers eyes. Then, Panic some more! LOL It was always handy when I knew there was an area or room that they didn't have to enter. That's where everything would 'vacation' for a while. ; D Had to go out in the backyard for a bit this morning. After all the rain last night (had fallen asleep in my cozy chair and a big BOOM of thunder woke me up at 2AM) and this heat, that humidity felt as thick as fog. It's funny, when you get back inside to AC air, you can feel the dampness in your clothes because they absorbed the humidity right out of the air. Been watching a very industrious Robin from my kitchen window. He/she has started to pull apart an old tarp, so they can unravel the 'strings', along with being very particular about twig sizes and bendability, for a nest they are building somewhere west of me. Actually bummed when I realize I've finished washing all the dishes. ; D

The country market is very pretty. I don’t have it to test out the stacking of the two buildings, and I’m thinking the tailor shop colors may be a little deeper and richer. But you still may be able to make it work. The steps of country market won’t match the tailor shop. But the tailor shop is a nice treat to get for yourself regardless. 😃

I agree with you that this is not a must have for a collection. And maybe I am being too picky about the dress. I still do love it and I’m glad a figure comes with the bus. The fruit babies look so very colorful. I would be surprised if they don’t eventually get a release outside of Japan. What a shame that would be! It’s strange, though, how they decide what and when things get released outside of Japan. Also frustrating when they call everything a Japanese exclusive, and then it shows up elsewhere within a couple of years.

@@SylvanianWorld It is! It's like playing a lottery of get it on release at a higher price, pray it gets a worldwide release a year or two later or potential miss out and pay an even higher price later down the line if it doesn't make the worldwide market 😭

Do you know that I missed that detail about the keyboard on the bus floor? Maybe I shouldn’t be making videos when I’m tired, ha ha. Thanks for pointing it out as it does make the bus even more whimsical. Gotta love a dad joke every now and then. I agree that the fruit babies look so cheerful and colorful with this bus. I just pulled out my first bunch of weeds yesterday. I have a whole lot more to go. It is quite a mess out there. However, the weather was feeling unpleasantly warm so I only worked on the garden for about 10 minutes. Looks like it will cool down starting Friday, thankfully. I am not one for hot weather and I usually distract myself with work throughout July and August, waiting for those months to pass by. Sounds like you have your share of yardwork. Must be nice to see all of those trees, though. I kind of miss having a lot of trees in my yard, but I guess it’s for the best as I am too lazy to rake the leaves. It seems so long ago that we would jump into the large piles of raked leaves for fun. And other things, like popping tar bubbles on the pavement on a super hot summer day. Remember when there was no air conditioning in elementary school? I went for a bike ride yesterday. Last year my boyfriend and I bought water pistol so that we could play cops and robbers on our bikes, but we forgot to take them with us. Will have to do that on our next day we share off together. I found that 11 AM is the sweet spot for bike riding in my neighborhood, when all the kids are at school and nobody is driving around to and from work. Glad your car may be saved from the moss. Enjoy the upcoming decent weather as long as it lasts. At least we have flowers to look forward to. 🌸🌿🌱

@@SylvanianWorld Oh my goodness! I forgot all about popping the tar bubbles!!! The cool thing was, they would be back the next day, to pop all over again! :-D One year, we went out with boxes of crayons and madly 'colored' an area about the size of a batters box (baseball). The crayon all melted out and it became the spot where we'd ride up real fast on our bikes, then hit the brakes and slide across. Ahh, fun memories that have been locked away for too long. (the only flowers I'm seeing right now, are dandelions. 😲 And way too many.) The trees come down tomorrow!! I need to remember to move my car tonight.
