I love the little curly cat head detail in the stained glass window in the family box! The little teacups are lovely too! Detailed unboxings have helped me before. You never know what little detail will sway your decision into buying an item or not. I do agree that these cats are worth waiting for a better price, though. At least you have plenty to play with until then!
Two weeks ago I turned 60 and my grown kids bought these two sets for me for my birthday. I usually leave families in the box for display but I had to take these out. I noticed that the tray for the goodies is the same one in the Laudree set only a different color. The counter in the Laudree store is also green (a softer shade). I have them set up separately but I think I'm going to combine them. I love this family so much! Thank you for the up close look at this beautiful set!

I know it is so tempting to keep them all packaged up, but if you don’t have little kids or pets around, then hopefully not much harm can be done to them if you take them out of packaging. I loved seeing this family in more detail. They looked like chinchillas to me because I didn't know the cat breed they represent. The clothes are very beautiful, they remind me of the Urban Life Series families. The accessories are adorable and I think it's great that the figures come with some accessories. Thanks for showing us this beautiful family I'm still deciding if I'm going to buy it and it's nice to see videos of people who have already bought them🥰!

You are right, they do look like chinchillas!!! I think the babies look adorable all dressed up - reminds me of the exhibition chocolate rabbit sets. So I’m glad that my fancy chocolate rabbit babies have other fancy babies to play with.

These are amazing! And thank you for the history too. And I agree, I like how the families sets seem to have more value, probably because they need to increase the price and the accessories are less costly than the dolls/clothes. I ordered these from KobeeJapan as they were sold out on Amazon Japan. I also don't like the random color-block on Brother's shorts... why?? lol
Ha ha, yes, about the color block on the brother! I told myself I’ll have to make it into a jester outfit sometime. Indeed, the prices of these families are going up (painfully so)with the accessories added in. At least they included what I consider a big ticket accessory with the sofa. And I’m glad the tea cups are all different colors. It’s wonderful to hear from you. I’m thinking about you a lot, Cathy. Glad that you can find a little comfort in your happy critter place. ❤️

Yes, the package inserts are great. I agree that it is a good idea to wait until they come down in price or become more widely available. Save your splurges for something you really have your heart set on, like how you got the hamburger wagon. 🙂
